An Open Door For God To Work

Bless those who persecute you, bless and do not curse (Romans 12:14 NIV).

Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing (1 Peter 3:9 NIV).

This seems like a tall order. And to some, it can even make your skin crawl when you first start doing it. But really, it’s for you. Just like forgiveness, it gives you freedom to walk away from those who have done you wrong, keeping yourself in alignment with God. When we let go of things and let God have them, He’s able to work in those situations.

Just the other day, someone made a negative comment on one of my posts on Facebook. It wasn’t mean or nasty, it was just negative. I decided to ignore it. To my surprise, someone else answered…

  1. I’m still working on this. In due time I will grasp this concept. Guess I still have a little more growing, sowing and pruning to do in my life.
