Hang In There

Hang in there! We are all dealing with something or somebody. Sometimes, we just have to dig real deep in our faith and say many prayers to see that thing or that someone differently. It’s during these times that the fruits of the Spirit–patience and long suffering are tested the most.

Sometimes we just have to walk through the thing or pass the someone knowing that all things work together for good to them that love God, and to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Usually in time, that thing or someone does not bother us any more šŸ™‚ Sometimes, we just have to stand and allow God’s will to be done by that thing or someone.

Sometimes we just have to praise God when we don’t understand why.

Sometimes we have to remember that this too shall pass and to count it all joy that God can use anything or anybody, in our growth process, as we keep moving forward.

  1. When I went through a particular rough spot in my life a few years back it seemed like the days were long and nights were bitter cold. I couldn’t hold my composure together for an hour, much less 10 minutes, without bursting into tears because the hurt had burst through my boundaries. My boss at the time called me in his office because he could hear me whimper and sniffle as I tried to cry quietly. He told me that rather than put all that pressure on to hold on through the day, just try to last 5 minutes. And then another and another. If I had to cry, it was ok, but start back to taking deep breaths and lasting another 5 minutes. Before long it got easier and I made it to 10, 15, 20, 45 minutes without crying. Anything is possible to get through, it just takes time and a little bit of faith. Great post, Ann!
