Be Someone

What a powerful illustration of sowing and reaping! 😜 Bottom line, sow positive, reap positive! Sow love, reap love!

Mark 12:30-31 tells us “And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. 31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these”. Without loving God, we can’t comprehend love.

We all have a story. Once upon a time, I thought to love unconditionally, you had to be a door mat! 😁 When I would over hear, someone talking on the phone and end each conversation with “I love you” or “Love you too,” I would think, it ain’t that much love in the world! 😁

Here’s the thing, I didn’t know any better! I did not like myself either. I had baggage! I figured it was always the other person! 😁 I could have been a poster child for the Book of Proverbs, you know the wise versus the fool and I was dead bones walking! 😰 Come on now, ever been there? Can I get witness? (Laugh out loud).

God knows what is needed to get each of us! It’s always about his timing and when we are ready. Remember, He gave us free will to choose!

Until we love and change ourselves, we will reap and sow the wrong stuff and wonder why. 😰

Love, like change begins with each of us. God has a plan for all of his children. As He prunes and purges, to produce more fruit, we come to realize, growth and loving, like Jesus, is a life long process.

Our actions and/or speech, shows our level of maturity. 😰 Our actions and/or speech, tells what’s in our heart! 😰 Our actions and/or speech displays the level of Christlikeness in our life.

To be continued….

As always, I welcome your thoughts or comments. 😜

Thank you Lord and God bless us as we think back and remember life before surrendering to you!

  1. “Love, like change begins with each of us. God has a plan for all of his children. To love unconditionally as Christ did, is the calling that is given to every Christian. May we all fulfill that calling. Lord bless you.

  2. Your sharing and honesty is awesome. I often feel like I am the only one who struggles or has experienced similar life journie and at that time did not know where to turn for real help and real peace! I am thankful I now walk with God and as He promises, I am not without troubles but the difference is God is in charge and His word does NOT return void. I have peace in the mist of worldy troubles. I love today’s poster of great reminders! Thanks, Ann….I love your blog!!

    1. Glory to God! Thanks Gloria!! Sharing and helping one another is what love is all about. We all bring something to the table. 😜 Thank you for your kind words! God bless you!
