The Power Of Words

The words we use tell what’s in our heart. 😰 The words we use tells our level of spiritual maturity. Got fruit? 😰

We are living in a time where words travel faster and can go viral quickly! Isn’t it amazing the things that grab our attention. 😨

We choose every time we communicate to draw or repel. We project a positive or negative attitude with our words.

God bless us as we learn to choose our words to build up, heal and encourage one another. 😊

Comments, thoughts, anyone? Anyone? 😉

Proverbs 8:6 – Hear; for I will speak of excellent things; and the opening of my lips shall be right things.

Proverbs 15:1 – A soft answer turn away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.

Proverbs 18:21 – Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

Proverbs 21:23 – Whoso keeps his mouth and his tongue keeps his soul from troubles.

  1. Hey Ann,
I love this poem, thank you very much for sharing! I think we have always to be careful with our words and find the right times and the right words for being very honest talking about the things that come from deep within our heart. Otherwise we might get misunderstood and cause harm but if we aren’t honest, we will get never really happy. So glad about our conversation from yesterday 🙂
Have a great day my friend.

  3. Amen Sister Ann !! I remember in particular growing up, my dear grandmother telling me and my 2 sisters about responding with a soft answer when an argument was developing, as she quoted Solomon and Proverbs 15:1… A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger. (KJV)

    Blessings in Christ, bruce
