Romans 8:28 – And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
It’s another crazy week. (shock face) No worries, because all is right in my world. I am walking by faith, trusting my Lord and Savior. Still working on breathing calmly, because I have another button that I didn’t know existed. (gritted teeth smile) I’ll tell you later. (smile)
It’s a beautiful thing when we can end a bad day and be kind to ourself. (smile) It has become my new habit on challenging days!
Replaying where we stumbled and why we stumbled gains nothing. (shock face) Thanking God that we survived is cause to smile and be kind to ourself and enjoy a peaceful night’s rest. (smile)
Learn from it and move on! Mercy and grace. We have God’s mercy and grace! Praise The Lord!
I am hanging in there with things and stuff, by faith, because this too shall pass. (smile)
Be blessed and roll with it. (smile) Remember to keep your sense of humor. (smile)
Philippians 4:8 – Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
The things we think and fret over can become overwhelming. Positive thoughts encourage hope. Positive thoughts can replay memories of happier times. Positive thoughts help to promote a healthy state of mind. (smile)
It comes down to habits and choices. We are either pessimistic or optimistic in our perceptions of ourself, others, life and things and stuff. (shock face)
Depending on what we speak, draws that element to us throughout our day, week, month, year.
It takes courage to change and not allow peer pressure or other opinions to keep us stuck. It takes courage to out grow bad habits. (smile)
A changed mind changes thoughts. Changed thoughts change perception. Sometimes, we have to talk positive, by faith, until it becomes a habit. Why entertain anything else. It’s draining! Sometimes, just listening without the need to speak is wisdom! Thank you Lord!
So when x, y, or z comes along, bringing drama or negative stuff, think differently before speaking it into agreement, by faith. (smile)
It been a tough six months for me. I started paying attention to what was spoken and what I kept agreeing too, all because my focus was on the challenges, the things and stuff. (shock face) I kept casting it to The Lord and praying. Then someone would ask about it, instead of speaking positive, I spoke against what I was praying. How about you, ever spoken against what you were praying?
Ugh, the lessons in life, will keep coming until we work through the thing. (gritted teeth smile)
We’re all working through something. Sometimes, we engage in conversations that add to our challenges, instead of making them better. The safest person to tell our troubles is God.
Thank God, when He brings someone along with a good word or an answer to our prayer when we need it! This is where He strengthens our faith in Him. (smile)
The fear of The Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Any other fear is not of God.
Be blessed and enjoy your day! As always, your thoughts are welcome. (smile)
2 Corinthians 5:7 – (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
Wahoo, I am walking by faith today. You are welcome to join me? (smile)
God has equipped us with everything we need to get through this day. Let’s do it by faith! (smile)
I thank God for my positive attitude today. (cheesy smile) I even have a dental appointment later this morning! (shock face) Praise The Lord! Ain’t life grand. (smile)
I am choosing to change my perspective on the things and stuff that bother me. (smile)
No looking backwards. No negative talk. No negative thoughts. Pray and talk to God for strength to endure challenges. Gratefulness for the good God has already done and will continue to do. (smile)
Remember to breathe calmly during things and stuff and keep the faith! Remember that God is in charge. There is nothing too hard for Him! There is no one bigger than Him. Believe and trust in Him by walking through the thing. (smile)
I hope these words help someone going through things and stuff get inspired, in their faith, to trust and believe in God.
We’re blessed because by faith, it’s going to be an awesome day! Your thoughts are always welcome. (smile)
“The consciousness of loving and being loved brings a warmth and richness to life that nothing else can bring.”
– Oscar Wilde –
This last week was brutal. By the grace of God, I survived. But at times, it was not pretty. There is a lack, of respect, these days in regards to our time. Yesterday, I got angry and slammed a door. (shock face) My motive was two fold–one, I was frustrated and two, to show how rumors get started because some feel the need to gossip. (shock face) I think we forget about reaping and sowing. Karma.
I mentioned awhile back that God will use anything and anyone to prune and produce more spiritual fruit within us. I guess I needed more pruning this week because each day brought more things and stuff. Yesterday, I realized no matter how kind or respectful you are to others; free will allows others to fill in the blank______________. (shock face)
I slammed a door out of frustration. I talk to God all the time. I pleaded with Him yesterday, help me, Lord Jesus, what are you trying to teach me because it’s obvious I am being tested and failing. I took a break and prayed. I tried meditating on 1 Corinthians 10:13 – There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. Nothing. I still had to walk through the thing.
Sometimes, we forget that no matter what happens; no matter what others say or how they treat us; we are loved unconditionally by God and the rest is irrelevant. (smile) There is a liberating freedom when your self worth comes from being a child of God! His love never fails. (smile)
That moment lasted twelve minutes before I was dealt the final blow of the day. (sad face)
I had been crashing and burning, on something, most of the week, to get a call to stop and pick it back up next week! What, I thought. Has this ever happened to you? Time wasted. (Ugh)
I didn’t breath calmly, my silly thoughts kicked in reminding me of all the things I didn’t do because of this something. I broke down and cried so hard that I asked God, why, Heavenly Father, why do I bother to do the right thing when it’s obvious I am not respected here!
It took almost twenty minutes for me to hear Him say softly, it’s not about you. Let thy will be done Lord. The one thing I love about my relationship with The Lord is my freedom to tell Him anything. Even when I am frustrated. He always listens. (smile)
Many times, obedience is about showing something to those around us. Let’s be honest, we’re all on different levels spiritually. Listed above has the scriptures, in the bible, on one another. When we can do these scriptures from a genuine heart, we sow into each other’s life. (smile)
I also like to thank and bless a friend–who likes to use K, when replying for emphasis. God had you in the right place at the right time! Thanks so much!
I had to repent and forgive quite a bit last night to let the things and stuff of the week go.
Be blessed my friends and enjoy your weekend! Comments and thoughts are welcome. (smile)
Thank God, this week is almost over. It’s been a rough couple of days. I am still trying to get this balancing act together. (smile) By faith, I am so grateful that you are hanging in there with me. God bless you!
Sometimes, I run out of time and can’t post. (shock face) So I roll with it and let it go. (smile) Remember I equate roll with it to letting it go! It is anything that agitate the nerves, push buttons or tries to mess with your peace. It can be challenges beyond your control. It can bring negative energy that drains. Roll with it and let it go.
Roll with it and letting go builds strength and confidence. How, someone is thinking. By keeping the faith that whatever it is will pass. Each time, we walk through it, its power loses the grip to paralyze, upset us or fill in the blank_____________. Really. (cheesy teeth)
Sometimes, we have to remember Philippians 4:13, I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me.
The last two days were brutal and draining. Yesterday, I tried to keep my sense of humor by popping my left fingers and holding up my right hand singing and rocking–it is, what it is; it is what it is. (shock face) It worked until the last 2 hours of my day. I forgot to breathe when things and stuff hit hard. I stumbled miserably. (smile) I smile because of God’s mercy and grace.
Sometimes, we need to be creative to walk through the thing! Let’s face it, change does not happen overnight. Regardless of what we do, stuff happens. Life is too short to stress over something or someone. Thank God for His mercy and His grace.
Be encouraged to roll with it and let it go. Be content until God’s perfect timing prevails for changing the situation. Have faith that He will. The victory will come! Remember, Romans 8:28, And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Be blessed and roll with it by letting it go. Thoughts and comments are welcome. (smile)
Proverbs 18:21 – Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
Speak life into every situation. Sometimes we speak the wrong things out of habit. Sometimes we speak things to ourself and others because we blurt it out without thinking. (shock face)
Sometimes, we have to apologize for things we say. As I think back growing up, I don’t remember anyone explaining spiritual growth or maturity. So as we get older, it’s something we learn by trial and error. (gritted teeth smile)
Each day, we have opportunities to speak life or death in our life and situations. Many times, we are our worst critic. (smile)
Let us have faith and be positive in what we speak. (smile)
Romans 14:19 – Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.
Everyone is dealing with something. Encouragement gives us strength to endure. Encouragement lets us know, we’re not alone. Encouragement is about believing we can get that promotion; we can relocate and start over; we don’t have to settle for less than God’s best; or fill in the blank________________.
Encouragement is making an effort to help someone see their struggle is temporary. Encouragement is keeping peace in unkind situations. They are challenges all around us, I’ve learned that we can only control ourself. Breathe, remain calm and listen. We don’t have to participate in angry ranting and raving.
It’s takes two. Most times, people just need to vent, so be a pair of ears that listen. This would be encouragement by presence, no words needed. (smile)
Encouragement is rare these days. When did we stop talking and encouraging one another? These days, it appears, it’s about what we don’t do or what we don’t have. (shock face)
The possibilities are endless to what encouragement can do for each and everyone of us. (smile)
Thoughts and comments are welcomed. (smile)
Be blessed, encouraged and enjoy your day! (smile)
I am still walking through some things and stuff. I am thankful for your prayers and pep talk BC! (smile) I have been trusting and leaning on God and putting stuff at the foot of the cross. It’s a combination of stuff (not all of it is mine). I am distracted and not focused these days. I know this too shall pass. Only God knows when.
When you are walking through things and stuff, people mean well when they offer advice. Sometimes, it helps and sometimes it causes other things to resurface in the mind. Here is where you have to dig deep and speak to the lies–that want to whisper about the past and remember the last time…
We can speak the word, pray, cry, force ourself to laugh and still have to walk through the thing. (shock face) No one else can do it for us! (gritted teeth)
God uses all things to bring about His purpose for us. I asked Him, what are you trying to teach me Lord? I am still waiting on an answer and a breakthrough for my walk through! (smile)
If anyone else out there is walking through things and stuff, it is my prayer, by faith, that our breakthrough is coming. We have to keep the faith and trust God to manifest it in His time.
Please pray for us walking through things and stuff. Thanks and God bless you!
Romans 13:1 – Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
For this week’s, Two Cents Tuesday Challenge, I chose to address loyalty from the communication aspect. It takes courage to do your own thing when writing. (smile)
Ever have a conversation or read an article that you walked away thinking what? There is lingo these days that definitely challenge the lines of communication depending on our generation category. Sometimes, I have to google certain shorthand lingo to understand what it means. (shock face) I’m a baby boomer, how about you? (smile)
I’ve learned to listen more. I learn stuff that way. No matter the generation, loyalty from and in God and His Word still stands. Praise The Lord!
It’s comforting to know that regardless of the craziness around us, faith and trust in God’s loyalty as His Word stands the same yesterday, today, forever.
Be blessed! Your comments and thoughts are welcome. (smile)
Matthew 19:26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
Sorry, I have been missing in action. It’s kind of hard to write when things and stuff are coming from all sides and some of it is not yours. (shock face)
I had to walk through a difficult thing by faith and trusting God to get me through it. It took a few extra days because I kept putting my hands on the situation and getting in the way. (gritted teeth)
I realized there are some things we are not meant to carry. I realized sometimes you have to have courage to walk away because life is too short to be around negativity and someone who can’t receive love. (sad face) I realized that God knows best!
Life is a beautiful thing when God heals and makes you emotionally whole from the inside out. (smile) Praise The Lord. (smile) When God loves you, and heals the broken areas within, your heart becomes open and you are able to see your self worth in Him. You believe Psalm 139:14 – I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. You don’t have to prove yourself to anyone. (smile)
Learning to release stuff, even other peoples stuff, by giving it to the one person who can do something about it is freedom! I’ve mentioned before, sometimes we have to walk through the thing in order to come out of it better than before. Wahoo, with God, all things are possible!
Hello friends (smile) I am still trying to get things balanced. (shock face) I promise to post when I can. (smile)
I believe the ability to listen is an acquired skill developed as we mature and grow spiritually.
Having moments of silence brings peace and tranquility to the mind. Brings calmness when things get hectic. Is a choice when buttons are pushed.
These days, someone has an opinion whether its wanted or not. (shock face) Being able to discern wisdom versus rhetoric is a blessings from above. When we’re struggling, and God sends someone to listen, I mean, really listen, with the intent of letting us get things out is truly a blessing. (smile) Praise The Lord!
Sometimes, the stuff we keep inside starts out as a little thought and depending on how much we think on it; it grows to a mountain and becomes overwhelming. Talking and getting it out allows God to heal us in that area then we can let it go!
Listening also strengthens communication. Sometimes, I find we learn more by just listening. Sometimes, people just need to talk. Listening is free. Listening requires time.
Many times, I just talk to The Lord. I tell Him everything I am feeling. I tell Him about my frustrations. There are no secrets between us. I thank Him for listening. (smile) Talking to The Lord is liberating because He already knows what I’m thinking and to be open and honest with Him just strengthens the personal relationship between us. (smile)
My courage comes from within. I’m transparent and allow God to validate my sincerity. (smile)
Next time you are challenged with something and no one is around, talk to God. (smile) You just might experience a powerful connection you never felt before. (smile)
Be blessed and sleep well tonight or enjoy your day! (smile) Comments are welcomed.
“Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t–you’re right.” – Henry Ford –
Last month, I closed with encouraging words of faith, that someday, we’ll all write a masterpiece. (smile) This month, my encouragement goes one level deeper to say have faith and believe in yourself. That masterpiece will come. (smile)
It’s a beautiful thing to believe in yourself. Flaws and all. Embrace that. Like everything else in life, it starts with each of us. It comes from within. (smile)
Want love, love yourself first. Want respect, respect yourself first. Want to believe in something, believe in yourself first. Sow positive to reap positive.
Want to write. Write for you. Write from within your heart. Write what you know. Write about your (filled in the blank)_______________. If you like, we’ll love it. If you love it, we’ll like it. Words flow best in a peaceful and positive mood.
God made you unique. There is no other you. Have courage to do your thing….well. (a wink and a smile)
There will always be someone saying something thats really about nothing. (shock face) It’s only an opinion. No idle words. No negative thoughts. No doubts. And most of all, no fear! (gritted teeth smile) Roll with it!
Stay positive. Keep writing and believing draft to draft or post to post. That masterpiece will manifest in the proper season. (smile)
Timing is everything. Sometimes, we want (filled in the blank)______________ but the timing is not right. Have faith and believe it will come when we’re ready. But I’m ready now, someone is thinking (smile) it comes when we stop stressing and focusing on it. (shock face)
So keep the faith and believe in yourself and that masterpiece becomes closer to manifestation than you realized. (smile) Can I get a witness? (smile)
Stay blessed my friends and remember to have fun and keep your sense of humor because writers write! (cheesy smile)
As always your thoughts or comments are welcome. (smile)
2 Timothy 3:16-17 – All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
Perspective on life is truly how we choose to look at it. No where is it written that life will be perfect or trouble free. (gritted teeth smile) Most challenges in life comes from our choices. Right, wrong or indifferent. God gives free will. It always comes down to choices.
What’s your perspective on life? I try and keep a sense of humor and focus on the positive things in life. I stay in the Psalms when life gets overwhelming. Keeping a thankful and grateful attitude helps too. (smile)
I only look at the news to catch weather updates because most of the time, the news is too gory and negative. Many times, the news is something that reinforces fear to those who haven’t received victory over fear. (keep the faith) They give a sound bite that sounds interesting but we have to wait until the next hour broadcast to know the rest. (shock face)
Good news stories barely get anyone’s attention. Old habits die hard. Just keep moving forward by focusing on changing ourself by adapting and adjusting to things and stuff that is out of our control. Our perspective on life can change. (smile)
Enjoy your Monday! As always, comments and thoughts are welcomed. (smile)
Proverbs 4:23 – Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
From childhood to adulthood, everything experienced has helped in shaping our perspectives. How each of us see the world is different. Somedays require a thankful attitude to remain positive and walk by faith, not by sight. (smile) Lately, my sleep pattern has been off; so here I am facing another Monday and thank God, my perspective on this Monday is 50% better than last Monday! (shock face) Praise The Lord!
Once upon a time, there was more freedom to communicate and express ourselves. Today, we must be careful with expression because while we were distracted with things and stuff, rules and laws were made that in some places prohibit the expression of this and that. (shock face)
It was suggested that I share more about me in my blogging. (gritted teeth smile)
Personally, here is a fun fact to know: I don’t like to argue and I steer clear of politics and religion. Arguing is a waste of time and energy. So I am surprised that I am stepping out of my comfort zone to write more about myself, and other things. A writer writes. (smile)
Until we deal with our own stuff in our heart, it makes changing our perspective more challenging. The things I write about here are all part of my own painful experiences learned the hard way because I had no spiritual fruit and I could not love and surrender to God. I was angry and prideful. I was broken on the inside and a pretty train wreck on the outside. (shock face)
My perspective about everything was skewed based on my own issues. Years ago, after many hardships and gut wrenching tears, God started closing doors to get my attention. It took months for me to grasp how in control He was and how I could not hear Him. Long story short, I quit a job because the Boss was a biscuit and worked my last nerve (gritted smile) I worked all night on my resume and knowledge, skills and abilities. Put the envelope in the mail knowing I would get that job! One week later, that envelope came back undeliverable because I was short 2 cents on the postage! (Ugh)
I broke down in my front year crying so hard that I heard The Lord say “can you hear me now”! I became His that day because I had no place to go but to turn to God. He knows what it takes to break us.
He healed places within me so broken that his unconditional love drew me to surrender and accept His Son Jesus as my Lord and Savior. He gave me a new heart filled with love and new life. My faith grew, my capacity to see beauty around me grew. Spiritual fruit was developing and replacing everything not spiritual within me season by season. I got in His Word to learn about Him and understand spiritual life and the leading of the Holy Spirit.
I started to talk to Him daily about everything. Frustrations, disappoints, why does the Christian walk have to be so hard? It was a long, long, long process until one day I realized my perspective of everything I ever knew changed. He healed the brokenness and made me whole! (ain’t life grand, smile)
That’s why I say the past is the past and only look back as a reference. It is my plan to continue to share my life through encouragement and faith to help someone know that stuff can happen to anyone and that God is the only one who can heal and make us whole. (smile)
Be blessed and have a great Monday! Comments and thoughts are welcome. (smile)
2 Timothy 1:7 – For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
It takes courage to step out of your comfort level and try something different. It takes courage to speak your hopes and dreams out loud. It takes courage to believe in the faithfulness of God and the desires He puts within us. It takes courage to believe in ourself.
It takes courage to stop running from life. It takes courage to make decisions and stand behind them. It takes courage to stand alone and not follow the crowd. It takes courage to recognize our weaknesses and do something about it. It takes courage to let go of controlling everything.
Courage grows as we mature spiritually. Courage grows as we become comfortable in who we are in Christ. Courage grows when we take responsibility for our choices. Courage grows when we stop making excuses. Courage grows when we become honest with ourself. Courage grows when we realize the past no longer holds us captive.
As we get older, it’s takes strength and courage to live life without others approval. As we get older, it takes courage to continue regardless of critics. (smile)
Be encouraged to do it, by faith, until your courage is stronger that doubt, fear, or fill in the blank _____________.
