I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me.
Friends, it’s a beautiful thing, to have choices. (smile) God bless you for not giving up on me as I work to balance and discipline things in my life. (shock face)
I am also walking by faith, in everything. Not a care in the world. (smile) It’s a beautiful thing to have courage to make our own choices. (smile) It’s take courage to keep pressing on. (wink and a smile)
No worries, my friends, because the joy of The Lord is my strength. (smile) All is right in my world. Praise The Lord!
Let’s just say, I’m choosing the positives! (smile) Putting stuff and Y at the foot of the cross. Looking at situations from a different perspective. (smile) Praying for my enemies. (shock face) Got to love em!
Doing my part and trusting God for the rest. Roll with it because it is, what it is. (wink and a smile)
I will be away a few more days because I’m the queen of procrastination and got behind on some stuff. Whoops! (gritted teeth smile)
So be blessed and keep the faith. Until we meet here again! (smile)
The best thing about trusting someone with every secret you have, is that they always have your back… The worst is knowing they can turn their back and use it all against you.

Things and stuff. X, Y and Z. Choices. It takes two. Free will. Strife situations. Prayer. Aha moments.
We must have spiritual fruit to breathe calmly and let God speak and lead us. Having spiritual fruit, love (giving), joy (gladness), peace (free from worry and fear), long suffering (patience), gentleness (kindness), goodness (generosity), faith (dependability), meekness (gentleness) and temperance (self-control) helps to stay spiritually minded and over look things and stuff from X, Y and Z. Love them. Bless them. Pray for them.
X, Y and Z can be anyone. When someone hurts us, cry, grieve and let it go. Pray about it and release it to God. When you don’t know who to trust; trust God. People will talk about us, people talked about Jesus.
I recently walked through a season of strife. It was not pretty and I thank God for His protection and giving me the courage to stand and have faith in Him. It was not easy by no stretch of the imagination. Each time, my mind wandered back, I spoke Vengeance is mine, saith The Lord. I prayed for my enemies.
One day, I woke up realizing that He walked me through the season wiser and stronger. Praise The Lord. (smile)
Sometimes, I believe, we don’t know any better. We do what we know. Somewhere in our formative years, we developed bad habits that begin strife. (shock face) Strife between us destroys trust. Strife ruins reputations. Strife wreck relationships.
We talk about others in times of frustration or just because, we can. Thank God for His mercy and grace for those times when we participate instead of walking away or speaking up.
Most of the time, it’s a lack of maturity, lack of spiritual fruit. Lack of what’s missing within. Like the Word of God, until we know it for ourself and be doers of The Word, we won’t know any better.
Let’s face it, there comes a time when we finally understand Proverbs 27:17 – Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.
It’s a beautiful thing to let God handle and walk us through things and stuff while dealing with X, Y and Z situations. (gritted teeth smile)
Sometimes, spring cleaning is more than the house. (smile)
Be blessed and keep the faith! (smile) As always, your thoughts are welcome. (smile)
This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
~ Psalm 118:24 ~
Wahoo! Celebrating one year blogging! (cheesy smile) First, I give thanks and glory to God for the many creative ways He blesses me to be a blessing to others! (smile)
Second, I humbly thank you friends! (smile) Your support and kind words give me courage to do what I do and roll with it. (wink, stick tongue out smile) Thank you! God bless you.
Third, I am grateful for those friends who share my posts via their social networks. Thank you and God bless you big!
I am still learning how to discipline my time when it comes to blogging. (shock face) Somedays, I run out of time and get so overwhelmed that I just roll past posting. (smile) That’s the beautiful thing about blogging; we get to make our schedule.
I admire those who post daily. It’s my goal someday. (smile) Right now, I will continue providing faith, encouragement and a sense of humor, as often as I can to bring a smile or chuckle your way. (smile)
I’ve met so many great and wonderful bloggers! I look forward to another year. (smile)
Be blessed and keep the faith today as I celebrate my one year blogging anniversary! (smile)
Have a great and blessed day! (cheesy smile) As always, your thoughts are welcome. (smile)
And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
2 Corinthians 12:9
Friends, living in God’s amazing grace is freedom. (smile) No one and nothing is perfect. Life will bring things and stuff. X, Y or Z can be challenging. Every trial and tribulation brings strength and deepens our faith and trust in God. Every single time.
Grace. Thank God for grace. Grace has blessed me to complain less. (shock face) Grace has freed me to understand that stuff happens and roll with it. (smile)
It’s a beautiful thing to accept and know ourself brings real freedom.
It’s a beautiful thing to walk through life knowing that God’s got your back and nothing is too hard for Him.
It’s a beautiful thing to know He loves us unconditionally.
It’s a beautiful thing to cast all our cares at the foot of the cross.
It’s a beautiful thing to know He answers our prayers.
It’s a beautiful thing to be in a solid relationship with Him.
I encourage you to keep the faith, be blessed and let your light shine in His amazing grace! (smile) As always, your comments are welcome. (smile)
Hello friends (smile) Life can change in an instant. I’ve shared before about my friends, the Two Musketeers. (smile) Yesterday, going to lunch with a friend, we had a car accident. Out of no where, an emergency siren was blaring behind us and two cars in front of us slammed on the brakes.
Here is the beautiful thing about faith and having a trusting relationship with God. No words were spoken by either of us. No fear was present either. I tensed my body for the impact and my friend calmly turned the wheel to the left to avoid hitting the cars in front of us, only to be hit by a driver behind us. There were a few seconds, we could not think of the next step, and we refused to speak the wrong things. So we called out, God help us. God showed how mighty He was when the Third Musketeer called with the next step. Praise The Lord.
Praise The Lord, no one was hurt and no significant damage was done to the cars involved. The blessing was God’s protection and His presence with us at the moment of impact. This was at a busy intersection and by the grace of God, we realized, it could have been worst. Thank you God for walking us through!
After the police report was done, my friend choose to get back on the horse (driving without fear) as she called it. We continued on with our plans for the day. We both kept praising and thanking God. We talked about how God can work out all things and how blessed we are. We were grateful. (smile)
Many times, when things happen, our first response is to ask why or lose perspective on what’s really important and start speaking the wrong things into existence. Yes, life brings challenges. Yes, life has ups and downs. Yes, things and stuff happens, whether saved or not.
It’s all part of living and walking by faith and trusting God.
Focus on the positive qualities of people and situations to fully realize that life can change in an instant. Sometimes, we focus too much on the “cannot” and the negative instead of the “can” and the positive. (smile)
Be blessed and live life for today. (smile) As always, your comments are welcome. (smile)
Thanks and God bless you big friends, who took the time to leave words of encouragement. (smile) Sometimes, starting over is a good thing. Once you accept that it is, what it is. Roll with it! (smile)
Yes, I was bummed to lose all of my reference notes, weeks of drafts, to include work for my book, until I was reminded that I’m a roll with it and it is what, it is, kind of woman! (shock face)
Sometimes, we stop doing the very thing that brings us the most joy in challenging times! Let’s not internalize other people’s stuff. (shock face)
Roll with it is an attitude of gratitude for me. (smile) It helps to keep my sense of humor. It helps to know that God will not give me more than I can bear. It keeps me grounded. I understand each trial and tribulation produces more spiritual fruit. Roll with it is my assurance that regardless or things and stuff, x, y and z, God is in control. God can use all things to get me where I need to be. (clench teeth smile)
Adapt and adjust. Stuff happens. Roll with it! The beautiful thing about sowing words of kindness, encouragement and faith, is when we are going through things and stuff, dealing with x, y and z, God will bring to our remembrance the very thing we need to help us most, every single time. We just have to listen. (smile) Praise The Lord! (smile)
No matter where we are in our season of life, choose to see and speak about the positive and good parts. Pray about the rest. Life goes on, whether we participant or not. Understanding that we are not alone put things in perspective. Understanding that God can use all things brings hope that it’s temporary and it will pass! (smile) Roll with it!
So as I rebuild and restart everything writing related, I will use my computer for daily backups. No more relying on just the IPAD and IPHONE! Ugh, what a lesson. Roll with it! (smile)
Be blessed, keep the faith that whatever you are going through, remember Romans 8:28! Enjoy your day, my friends and roll with it! (smile) As always, thoughts are comments are welcome!
Philippians 4:19 – But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
The time change has me off schedule. (smile) It’s another Monday, let’s have faith and stand on Philippians 4:19! Be positive. Be adaptable. Be strong. Be fruitful. Be encouraged for blessings.
Maintaining our focus keeps things and stuff, and x, y and z in perspective. (smile) Life is too short to allow angst to ruin our day. Yup, I finally see how distractions all play a part toward losing focus of the bigger picture. (shock face)
It takes two. When that thing or x, y, or z, comes, choose to smile and say nothing or calmly breathe to assemble thoughts and let grace get us through it. Calmly breathe and pray to bridle the tongue, when pressed. (smile)

Self-knowledge – knowledge or understanding of one’s own capabilities, character, feelings, or motivations. ~Merriam Webster’s Dictionary~
To know our true self brings wisdom. To understand our quirks and preferences is important in knowing our limits. Sometimes, we come to a point where enough is enough. Knowing our limits can provide insight to understand what pushes our buttons and what pet peeves set us off. (grit teeth smile)
What we believe is also a key element. Every experience, from childhood to present, contributes and/or reinforces what we think, how and why we react to things and stuff or x, y and z. (shock face)
Life challenges happen to everyone. The more we know and understand our inner triggers, they lose power over us. Praise The Lord for the victory.
Recently, my eyes were open to realize I had another button that things and stuff, and x, y or z, could push! (shock face) The button is disrespect. I don’t like when others disrespect me or anyone else. How unfortunate, disrespect seems to be the norm in many environments. (sad face) Free will. We have free will to choose or maybe, we just don’t know any better.
Here’s the beautiful part, while it is painful when going through storms, disappointments, fill in the blank_______________; we come out stronger and better than before. God will use anything and anyone to bring about our growth. Many times, it’s a test. (shock face)
Sometimes, there are retests! Thank God for His mercy and grace.
I don’t have victory over the disrespect button yet; I thank God that I now know it’s trigger!
Be blessed and enjoy the rest of the weekend! (smile) Your thoughts are always welcome!
Keep the faith and hold on! (smile) Things are looking up. Sometimes, out of no where, I just sing. I’m talking loud and joyful singing. (smile) The kind of singing that make you forget your challenges, the end of the week, and just enjoy the music and the song.
I experienced this on the way home today. I felt deep within my spirit to write hold on the blessing is around the corner for someone. (smile)
Don’t let people drive you crazy when you know it’s in walking distance. ~Author Unknown~
A humor quote to start the day. (smile) I’m a bit sluggish at the moment. My energy level was depleted yesterday on things and stuff. (smile) I forgot to roll with it!
Choices. Unless, we live on a secluded island alone, there will always be something or someone trying our patience. (shock face)
Of all the spiritual fruit, I believe patience is tested more, followed by temperance. (gritted teeth) Traffic, long lines in the store, trying to button that last button, when in a rush, or fill in the blank_____________.
Recently, I’ve found, if I do the opposite of what I feel, it’s a win for that moment. Just remember to breathe calmly before speaking or just smile. Either one changes the focus. (smile)
Sometimes, aha moments come by making a different choice. Sometimes, things are simpler than we realize. At times, we over think things. (smile) It is what, it is. (smile)
Here’s the challenge, when you’re tired or hungry, all bets could be off. (shock face) It’s like x, y and z come to push and push. You think, ok, feeling a little pressed then something comes, then another and another…
Here is where choices come into play. Free will. Spirit over Flesh. It’s a prettier situation to make the spiritual choice. (smile) Thank God for His mercy and grace when we don’t!
Be blessed, stay calm because it is, what it is. (smile) As always, your thoughts are welcome. (smile)
Philippians 4:13 – I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me.
Them can be anyone who tell us we can’t, we will never or fill in the blank________. Society is filled with them.
Them speak things that we believed because we trust them or fill in the blank___________. Sometimes, I wonder the motives that make them discourage us.
Words spoken, by them, start the root of doubting abilities and losing confidence. Prove them wrong.
Refuse to replay the insecurity of can’t. Refuse to think the insecurity of can’t. Refuse to speak the insecurity of can’t. Prove them wrong.
Write. Create like only you can. Only God knows our thoughts besides us and His Word says “I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me”. Remember this the next time can’t creeps into the mind. (smile)
Sure there will be critics and opinions. Sometimes, it’s just information. Prove them wrong.
There are probably distinguished authors, who had to walk through seasons of proving them wrong. This should give us hope that every rewrite, every blocked thought or filled in the blank__________will eventually get us closer to our goal. The masterpiece! (gritted teeth smile)
A rejection today maybe become a possibility tomorrow. Faith! Believe in your abilities. Keeping your sense of humor and making time for fun promotes balance. (smile)
Let today be the day, we continue to have faith and refine our masterpiece because all things are possible when we believe.
Be blessed and enjoy your day! Comments are welcome. (smile)
Proverbs 3:26 – For the Lord shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.
Self-confidence grows every time we step out of our comfort zone. Many times, we have to faith it and do it the best we can. (smile)
Free will. It’s unfortunate when something or someone shatters confidence. It does something within. No one likes to be ridiculed or criticized to the point their confidence is shaken. No one.
My confidence gets shaken sometimes when someone tries to use the past against me. Yep, I still have a few buttons that get pushed. (shock face) How about you, what shakes your confidence?
Lets face it, many lack compassion and empathy because they have never experienced or have a reference, of understanding, of something or someone different. This is where prayers become a life-line to tell the specifics to God. (smile)
Confidence builds when we keep trying. That’s how we learn and get better. As our confidence grows from within, our thoughts become clear and more positive. We pay attention to distractions. We recognize better ways to handle x, y and z. At the end, of the day, your confidence will be stronger!
Yesterday, I had the confidence to shovel the path way and my car completely. (shock face) I felt the wahoo and thank you Lord when I finished. Today, my muscles are sore and I can barely move (smile) nonetheless, I had confidence to get it done. (smile) Praise The Lord!
Be blessed today and remember confidence grows as we try because Romans 8:28 – And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Comments and thoughts are welcome. (smile)
Things about me. I love reading, music and playing games on my IPHONE. (smile) God blessed me with the gift of encouragement, ways to sow His Word, a sense of humor and a beautiful smile. (cheesy smile)
I’m an introvert by preference. (shock face) I’ve learned to adapt and adjust in situations and through the storms of life, it’s how “roll with it” and “let it go” became sound bites for me. The joy of The Lord is my strength. (smile)
Like many others out there, I’ve had a difficult season to walk through. I was never alone. I love how my Lord and Saviour protects and takes care of me. (smile) I pray a lot. I pray for each of you. (smile)
I thank God for the courage to write and be different. There will always be someone who needs a kind word or courage to be their self.
I am grateful for the awesome people I’ve met through blogging. I am humbled by your words of encouragement back to me. (smile) God bless you!
I love blogging and writing, for the different writing forums, because it’s a way to sow encouragement and hope to someone who may or may not know they are not alone or the next step. I am a humble and nice person who tries to visit and support many different bloggers. (smile)
I blog from my own personal experiences in hope that someone finds comfort and gets to know God, through His Son, Jesus, like I know Him. (smile)
I sow and God waters. I’m an open vessel about my Father’s business. ( smile) I hope this gives you more insight into Ann Friend.
Be blessed! (smile) As always, your thoughts are welcome.
Psalm 139:14 – I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
God loves you and me. Unconditionally. Accept that truth. We’re created in His image. We are fearfully and wonderfully made. Flaws and all. (smile)
There are times, God’s love for me and feeling His presence are the only things that keeps me going. Like today, I have a heaviness on my heart so I am praying for family, friends and my enemies.
Self-acceptance is knowing and loving ourself because God does. Anything else is irrelevant. His love never fails. We are not alone because He is always with us.
By the way, it’s cold and snowing here and I am dreading going out later to shovel a path to my car and shoveling off my car. Ugh. I have faith that this too shall pass. (smile) Trying to think happy thoughts about shoveling!
So have a blessed Monday knowing that we are loved unconditionally because God is love. (smile) As always, I welcome your comments.
Self – the essential person distinct from all other persons in identity. ~Merriam Webster’s Dictionary~
Self is the NaBloPoMo theme for March. This is where I share more about myself and have fun in the process. (shock face) It’s pretty much what I’ve been doing the past few months without the fun part. (smile)
I come here to encourage others to keep the faith and keep moving forward. (smile) It’s a beautiful thing when you are comfortable with yourself! When you have the courage to be you! (smile)
My courage and strength comes from above. Glory to God! When you know who you are, you don’t have to tell anyone, anything, because actions speak louder than words. (gritted teeth smile)
As displayed in the acrostic, life is knowing and being secure in yourself because Romans 8:31 says What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
Be blessed and stand on Romans 8:31! Stay tuned for more self encouragement! (smile) Thoughts are always welcomed.
Jeremiah 32:27 – Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?
Faith and trust in God brings comfort that sustains through anyone or anything, every single time. (smile) You feel a boldness to yell “bring it, I walk with God where possibilities are endless.” (smile)
Having faith and trust in God helps when going through trials and tribulations, as I call things and stuff, in life. (gritted teeth smile)
Many times, we get caught up with a distraction or misdirection; while going through things and stuff. Many times, we give x, y or z, too much input over decisions, we should be taking to God in prayer.
I believe the hardest challenge, to go through, is disappointments. In ourself, others, situations. Too many times, speaking the wrong words to the wrong people, makes it that much harder to stand on faith and trust God. Sometimes, timing is everything. God knows things we don’t.
Praying and giving God all our things and stuff is wisdom. Psalms 118:8 says “It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.”
There are things in life only God can change. Cut out the middle person and give it to God. There is nothing too hard for Him. Remember David and Goliath!
Be blessed and know, by faith, that God is bigger than anything or x, y, or z, that we face. (smile)
