Proverbs 3:26 – For the Lord shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.

Self-confidence grows every time we step out of our comfort zone. Many times, we have to faith it and do it the best we can. (smile)

Free will. It’s unfortunate when something or someone shatters confidence. It does something within. No one likes to be ridiculed or criticized to the point their confidence is shaken. No one.

My confidence gets shaken sometimes when someone tries to use the past against me. Yep, I still have a few buttons that get pushed. (shock face) How about you, what shakes your confidence?

Lets face it, many lack compassion and empathy because they have never experienced or have a reference, of understanding, of something or someone different. This is where prayers become a life-line to tell the specifics to God. (smile)

Confidence builds when we keep trying. That’s how we learn and get better. As our confidence grows from within, our thoughts become clear and more positive. We pay attention to distractions. We recognize better ways to handle x, y and z. At the end, of the day, your confidence will be stronger!

Yesterday, I had the confidence to shovel the path way and my car completely. (shock face) I felt the wahoo and thank you Lord when I finished. Today, my muscles are sore and I can barely move (smile) nonetheless, I had confidence to get it done. (smile) Praise The Lord!

Be blessed today and remember confidence grows as we try because Romans 8:28 – And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Comments and thoughts are welcome. (smile)

  1. I love this post, Ann. I pray often for God to help me with my self-confidence and recovery. I must admit it’s gotten much better since I started blogging last February, joined some wonderful blog-hops, and ‘met’ so many wonderful bloggers. He knew exactly what I needed. As long as He keeps guiding me in the right direction, I should be good.

    Thanks for sharing. Hugs, Eva

  2. Excellent post! Whenever i get truly frustrated, I remind myself that God will open the doors for me when they need to be opened. I have faith in the path he sets before me.
