Smile, Attitude Is Everything

I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me.
~ Philippians 4:13 ~

Happy Wednesday friends! (smile) Attitude drives facial expressions. So smile and have an attitude of gratitude because we look marvelous today! Thank you Lord for blessing us with another day.

Roll with it!

Be blessed and walk by faith throughout this day because we can! (smile)

Two Cents Tuesday Challenge: “Abstract”

“One man’s trash is another mans treasure.”
~ Author Unknown ~

Hello friends. (smile) This week’s Two Cents Tuesday Challenge is Abstract. Abstract to me is like opinions and preferences. (smile) We all see and view things differently. (smile)

We like, what we like. We prefer, what we prefer. Nothing else will do. (smile)

These days I find some of the environments we find ourselves in abstract. (shock face)

Let’s face it, until we understand to adapt and adjust when we encounter different everything appears abstract. (grit teeth smile)

Simple things like communicating has become abstract. Manners is almost abstract from my point of view.

I’m in a weird place today as illustrated by my view of abstract. (smile)

Be blessed in whatever way you view abstract. (smile)

Walking Through Builds Strength

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. 8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; 10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. ~ 2 Corinthians 4:7-10 ~

Hello friends (smile) Believe me when I tell you, I had every intention of writing about something else today. (nervous smile) I woke up with another message. It’s a beautiful thing when we’re given wisdom from above; and obedient to sowing words of encouragement, to someone to keep walking through. Thank you Lord!

Walking through builds strength to walk by faith trusting God. (smile) Yesterday was not a bad day, per se, but my eyes were opened to fully understand how actions speak louder than words and the blessings of daily forgiveness brings strength. (smile)

Strength from within is powerful. The joy of The Lord is strength. Renewing the mind becomes strength. Faith is strength. Looking at things and stuff, or X, Y and Z, from a different perspective brings strength. Prayer brings strength.

Iron sharpens iron. Learning NOT to participate in every idle conversation is strength. It’s easy to do when we keep our focus and stay balanced. Positivity breeds positivity.

Remembering to breathe calmly and practice the pause gives strength to continue walking through, as God will provide the next step, as we remain focused on Him.

Blessings today, by faith, as we get stronger walking through this day! (smile)

Love From A Distance

Sometimes loving from a distance brings peace of mind as we pray for X, Y and Z. Only God can change a heart.

Ann - A Friend of Jesus 2013

God always knows what is best for us. God never gives us more than we can bear. God gives us courage to love from a distance. Sometimes we must stand in faith, trusting God, by taking our hands off of situations that He knows we can’t handle. We are not God. God is the only one who know the reasons behind a why.

Hurting people hurt people. Remember “power of words” and “free will to choose”–trying to interfere when God is working–gets our feelings hurt.

Once upon a time, someone loved us from a distance. The best thing we can do is have patience and keep them lifted up in prayer. Trust God to walk them through. Drop a {{smile}} or {{hug}} in a text or email to let them know someone is thinking of them. Keep moving forward, even if there is no reply back. Remember God is…

Trials and Tribulations – Pray and Let Go

Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me? ~ Jeremiah 32:27 ~
Another illustration of faith and trust in God. Every single time!

Ann - A Friend of Jesus 2013

Challenges. Troubles. Things. Also known as trials and tribulations. (gritted teeth smile) At some point, we endure trials and tribulations on top of our stuff. (shock face) The good news is that God never gives us more than we can bear. We must pray and give it to God. Cast it, by faith, and let God work on our behalf. (smile)

Here’s the thing, don’t take it back! Keep our hands off. (nervous smile) This means no talking about it! No worrying about it! No asking somebody, “What do you think?” Let go and Let God.

As a good friend, of mine, likes to say “leave it, at the foot, of the cross.” (smile) Friends, we must find little ways to renew our mind during trials and tribulations and things and stuff! Spoiler alert–I use things and stuff, as another way to fill in the blank. (wink and a smile)…

Be Thankful

In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. ~ 1 Thessalonians 5:18 ~

Hello friends (smile) In the ebbs and flows of life, being thankful becomes easier when we realize just how blessed and fortunate we really are in whatever season we find ourself walking through.

It’s a beautiful thing to understand that everything happens for a reason and the most painful experiences brings growth. Things and stuff, and X, Y and Z challenges can happen to any of us.

20140427-003848.jpg
Be thankful to keep walking through the challenge because it builds inner strength, spiritual fruit and deepens faith, and trust in God. (smile)

Be thankful to learn adapting and adjusting promotes a healthy attitude and leaning more on God during difficult times.

Be thankfulthat the past has no power unless we allowed it.

Be thankful to understand free will to choose remains an obstacle when dealing with others. Sometimes, they are not ready for the next step. Sometimes, we’re not. Be thankful to know the difference.

By faith, be blessed and thankful each day that God wakes us up. (smile)

A Prayer for The Worrywart

What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
~ Romans 8:31 ~

Ann - A Friend of Jesus 2013

This is a great prayer to fill in the blanks for my friends overwhelmed with worries!

20130724-223941.jpg
As faith grows, it replaces the habit to worry.

God bless you, by faith, as we pray without ceasing remembering only God can change a heart and set you free from worry!
