My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him. 6 He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved. 7 In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. 8 Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.
~ Psalm 62:5-8~
Hello friends (smile) No acrostic this week because I could not find a good word for X beside xerox. (shock face) There were many thoughts in my head about expectations, disappointments and constantly adapting to X, Y and Z.
My thoughts were all over the place, so I spent the last few days playing games and meditating in the Book of Psalms as I prayed for family, friends and enemies.
I see expectations right up there with my faith in God. My daily expectation is faith and to draw my strength from above, as I continue to renew my mind that all good things come from above and continue to walk through as God’s will be done. (smile)
What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? ~ Romans 8:31 ~
Wahoo, TGIF friends! (smile) How was your week? This week was brutal. I thank God for His mercy and His grace that I survived. (smile)
We survive every single time when we keep the faith that God will walk us through.
We survive every single time when we choose to let go of anything weighting us down.
We survive every single time when we speak God’s Word in times of distress.
We survive every single time when we stay positive and focus on the current moment.
We survive every single time when we realize that things and stuff and/or X, Y and Z, play a part in God’s plan for our continued growth. (shock face)
We survive every single time when we roll with it because it is, what it is. (smile)
We survive every single time when we can smile to change our mood and keep our sense of humor. (cheesy smile)
We survive every single time when we keep an attitude of thankfulness.
We survive every single time when we remember the power of Romans 8:28, And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. (smile)
Blessings, my friends, we survived the week! (smile)
Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another. ~ Romans 14:19 ~
Hello friends (smile) What a beautiful quote below. A positive perspective on Nurture.
Nurture, like love, kindness and peace, must begin within us first, to be able to give and do for others. When we’re balanced, things and stuff, roll off, like water off a duck. (smile)
We able to keep a peaceful mind set. We able to keep our sense of humor. We able to smile because we can.
Words, we speak have such power to overcome anything. There are times, we may become overwhelmed, we need to have faith that when we unplug from busyness, life will goes on. We come back stronger and refreshed. (smile)
Some moments require stillness to get our bearings, even the need to break the day into increments. Trust me, it’s been my survival mechanism for the past few weeks. (smile)
I believe God puts certain X, Y and Z’s, in our life, to help us grow. (shock face) Ever wonder why we pray and bless our enemies. ( shock face)
Nurturing, like kindness, is a blessing to ourself and those we nurture in moving to the next step in our life. We always remember kindness. (smile)
Blessings, my friends, by faith, as we nurture ourself and those around us today! (smile) As always, feel free to share your thoughts. (smile)
Walk in the direction of love not fear. Look at things in another perspective. A life is the ability to love beyond yourself, extend yourself when change comes. ~ Charles P ~
Hello friends (smile) Love brings possibilities to many things. (smile) Love is a beautiful thing to behold, especially when love comes from within. Love is the first spiritual fruit. We must love ourself before we can truly receive love from others. (shock face)
When we truly know the love of God, in our heart, love abounds in our life. Love conquers fear. Love can over look things and stuff. Love can over look differences. Love adapts. Love respects X, Y and Z’s choices, especially when different from our own. Love can bless others, even when they are unkind.
Love brings faith and trust in God for all things.
Sometimes, love gives us courage. I’ve learned that love is being spiritually whole and emotionally healthy to enjoy life regardless of anything or anyone else. It’s an inside blessings! Staying focus on what’s important helps to let stuff go. This was a long process to learn, nonetheless, I share it to help someone know that every person we encounter contributes to our ability to love. (smile)

Some seasons can be harder than others. Keep the faith regardless and roll with it! ~ AF ~
Hello friends. (smile) Timing is everything. Somedays, we may feel like that Washington Post commercial, where the parrot is squawking not another day, not another day, I can take this. I can’t take this. Then a man walks in saying Not another day, I can’t take this. (smile)
Walking through various seasons can seem like I can’t take this, not another day. Remember, Philippians 4:13 – I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me.
The key is understanding the season we’re in and have patience for God’s timing and break through.
Knowing how to motivate ourselves during those times of waiting can help us keep the faith and fight the good fight. (gritted teeth smile)
To be honest, I still struggle with this one. I see it as long suffering through and through! (shock face)
Sometimes, putting everything at the foot of the cross brings comfort during times of challenges.
Hmm, it’s hard to do unless you release everything in that season!
My faith has been tested something fierce this week and I’m praising God as I walk through this season with a song in my heart and a smile on my face, all by faith and a little help from my friends. (smile)
Blessings, my friends! (smile)
How about you, what season are you walking through?
I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me.
~ Philippians 4:13 ~
Hello friends (smile) A beautiful and specific prayer to conquer, by faith, those pesky “not” thoughts. Everyday, we have choices. Let today, be the choice, to replace every “not” with “can“! (smile)
I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me.
Speak it, by faith, one “not” at a time. Be thankful, for God’s mercy and grace, as we conquer our “nots“.
Practice the pause, smile, take a deep breath and remain calm because I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me.
We all have busy schedules. Instead of getting angst over something at noon, concentrate on the now moment. (smile)
Sometimes, breaking down the day, into smaller increments, can save our sanity! Second by second, minute by minute, hour by hour, and day by day. I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me. (smile)
Have a great day, by faith, and untie those “nots” because I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me.
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
~ Philippians 4:8 ~
Hello friends (smile) Deposit new thoughts is another way to renew the mind. (smile) A beautiful way to give words power to encourage, uplift and grown in grace.
We can change everything from pesky thoughts to a better way to communicate with others. (smile) Sometimes our thoughts are reinforced by what we think on and say to ourself. (shock face) It comes down to perspective.
Words will always have power. Have faith to speak words to build up and grow from within.
When we deposit new thoughts, it can begin to renew our mind. It will also replace old things and stuff with positivity. We can draw from positive. We can relate from a renewed mind by drawing from a positive experience. (smile)
The words we think and speak affect what we do. For example, I have chores that I keep neglecting all because I reinforce the thought, what’s one more day or maybe tomorrow. (smile) I’ll be on this trend, until I deposit something else to replace that thought. (smile)
The same process can be used in communicating with others. Practice the pause and remember, we have the power to choose our responses. Spirit versus flesh.
Another example, when X, Y or Z likes to be argumentative or sees only the negative about something. I chalk this one up to God producing more spiritual fruit within me! (smile) Thank you Lord!
Blessings my friends as you enjoy your weekend! (smile)
How about you, what thought do you reinforce to yourself? (smile)
But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. ~ Philippians 4:19 ~
Hello friends, by faith, may God give us everything we need to get through today. (smile)
What a beautiful illustration….
Faith in Him grows when we understand Romans 8:28, And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. He will use anything to produce more spiritual fruit to help us grow.
I can tell you from experience, many times, I’ve asked for double grace to help me walk through challenging situations, to include, X, Y and Z. (shock face) I say, Lord, grace, your daughter needs a bit more grace, a double portion please, and Lord, a tad bit of mercy. Praise The Lord. (smile)
Challenging times or X, Y and Z become easier when we give it to Him. At the end of the day, we’re stronger in faith as He helps us walk through.
“Instead of giving myself reasons why I can’t, I give myself reasons why I can.” ~ Unknown Author~
Hello friends (smile) Have an attitude of faith to believe that we can accomplish anything. Those of us, who write, perceive deep within us, that there is a masterpiece in the making. Here’s the catch, we must believe in our abilities first! In time, the manifestation comes! (smile)
Like everything else in life, good things come to those that wait. (smile) Reminds me of my favorite spiritual fruits–patience and long-suffering. (shock face)
Let’s not forget, regardless of critics, having an attitude of faith, to believe, in ourself reinforces our belief in our talents to do what we do and not get discouraged. (smile) Think positive thoughts!
Many times, we put pressure on ourself…
Sometimes, it is what, it is. Roll with it! (smile) Bottom line, up front, by faith, we can and we will__________________ (fill in the blank)!
Blessings my friends, until we meet here next month. (smile)

Hello friends (smile) Thank God for friends! Friends are a blessing. Friends encourage and believe in us. Friends provide comfort. Friends pray for us. Friends show up when we need them most. (smile)
There are times, we need a safe zone with at least one good friend. A safe zone where there is no judging, just listening and being there. Thank you and blessings to old and new friends supporting my writing efforts, and your kind words of encouragement. (wink)
I pray faithfully that God manifest your hearts desire exponentially. (smile)
Be blessed as you thank those friends in your life for all that they do! (smile)
Abundant blessings, my friends, because the just shall live by faith. Praise The Lord.
