Please Pray For Me

The great advantage of being in a rut is that when one is in a rut, one knows exactly where one is.
~ Arnold Bennett ~

Hello friends. I am not feeling well and find myself in a rut. (shock face) Nothing serious, just not quite myself.

I’ve prayed. Spoken the Word. I’m asking for your prayers. Sometimes, we need others to help us walk through the thing.

20140630-195736-71856710.jpg
Thank God, for the power of prayer! (smile)

As God, as my witness, I need prayers. Thank you and God bless you, by faith, for your prayers.

Be blessed, my friends. (smile)

Comfort

Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; 4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
~ 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 ~

Hello friends (smile) It’s a beautiful thing to know someone cares. That’s what comfort does. Sometimes, comfort comes from unexpected opportunities that form new bonds and connections. (smile)

Sometimes, comfort is simply listening. Sometimes, comfort is knowing we’re not the only one going through _________________(fill in the blank).

20140628-110400-39840786.jpg
Regardless of our spiritual maturity, life brings things and stuff. It’s a beautiful thing to give and receive comfort when needed, especially through our prayers. (smile)

Personally, I find comfort in prayer. Praying is giving it all to God, even tears.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m always grateful when God sends someone my way, when I am truly struggling. Thank you Lord.

Bottom line, prayers activate our trust and faith in God to move in mighty ways. (smile) Praise The Lord.

Comfort is a blessing that pay dividends and glorifies God.

Comfort is a little thing that means so much when it comes unexpectedly.

I also like to send a shout out to my friend CW, you and your family are in my prayers. (smile)

Blessings, my friends, as we comfort one another. (smile)

Have a safe and enjoyable weekend! (smile)

Have A Beautiful Friday

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
~ Romans 8:28 ~

Hello friends. (smile) Be blessed and keep the faith, as we mediate on Romans 8:28.

Laughter

Its true that laughter really is cheap medicine. It’s a prescription anyone can afford. And best of all, you can fill it right now.
~ Unknown Author ~

Hello friends. (smile) It’s a beautiful thing to smile and enjoy a deep down in your belly laugh. (smile)

Laughter, sometimes, reminds us to lighten up! Enjoy life. Have fun. Roll with it. (cheesy smile)

Yes, it can be hard to laugh, when we’re going through things and stuff or Y is working that last nerve. (shock face)

Ever notice, how God can send someone to bring a smile or tell us something to make us laugh, before the flesh man makes an appearance? Many days, I’ve thanked Him for his timing and His grace. (smile)

I laughed so hard the first time I saw the phase “Not my Circus, not my monkeys.” I see this as a reminder to mind our own business. (shock face) Pray, let go and let God.

I’ve learned that people ask when they want input! Free will to choose.

By Faith, I Declare

That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; 19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. 20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.
~ Ephesians 3:17-20 ~

Hello friends (smile)  Life is a process. Good and bad. Ebbs and flows. Somedays are better than others. Choosing to stay positive, in spite of things and stuff, and X, Y and Z, requires faith and trust in God. No doubts. No worries. No fears.  Faith.  Trust.  Spirit led.

IMG_0419-0.JPG

Negativity is draining and gains nothing! (shock face) What’s that old saying about doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. (gritted teeth smile)

Sometimes, we just need to breathe before speaking or smile and say nothing! (wink and a smile) Roll with it!

Spell it with us– C H A N G E. Change how we react to things and stuff! (shock face) As we grow and renew our mind, it becomes easier to keep our focus, which helps, when things and stuff, just keeps on coming! (shock face)

During challenging times, we can thank God for his mercy and his grace. No need to beat ourselves up when we stumble. Grace. (smile)

We always have a choice on how we react. Choose. Repel or draw. Negative or positive.

Blessings, as we have faith to enjoy this day! (smile)

Two Cents Tuesday Challenge: “Surprise”

Surprise, I have no quote or scripture today. (shock face)
~Ann Friend~

Hello friends (smile) Surprise. Most everyone loves a surprise. Almost anything can be a surprise these days. (smile) Some surprises are pleasant. Some not so much.

I thank God and am grateful for friends who bless me with surprises! (smile)

20140623-222604-80764068.jpg
A kind word of encouragement, a meal, like, reblog or retweet my stuff, giving your time, to listen, when I need to talk and virtual hugs. I say a heartfelt thank you and God bless you big! (cheesy smile)

I’m surprised when God gives me wisdom to bless someone with the exact words they need. (smile)

I’m surprised when I drive somewhere I’ve never been and back, in one piece. Thanking God along the way! (smile)

I’m surprised how addicted I’ve become playing TwoDots! It’s fun and it keeps me entertained. (shock face)

I’m surprised that I am still the queen of procrastination in my personal life! (gritted teeth smile)

I’m surprised that I’m still rolling with this blog. Sometimes, I’m overwhelmed. I’m still trying to find balance. (smile)

So friends have a blessed day and enjoy any pleasant surprises! (smile)

Tell me, what surprises you? (smile)

Waiting Prayer

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
~Philippians 4:6~

Hello friends (smile) Waiting. Waiting requires patience. To be honest, sometimes, I get frustrated waiting. (shock face) Nonetheless, I stand and keep the faith as I wait; keeping my hands off the situation. (smile)

20140621-003426-2066186.jpg
How about you, ever get frustrated or anxious with waiting?
I do thank God for the prayers He does answer! Praise The Lord. (smile)

It all comes down to His timing and His will for us. So we keep praying and keep the faith!

Blessings friends as you enjoy your weekend! (smile)

What Does God Think About Me?

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
~Jeremiah 29:11~

The words “I am” are potent words; be careful what you hitch them to. The thing you’re claiming has a way of reaching back and claiming you.
~A.L. Kitselman~

Hello friends. (smile) Words have power. Especially The Word of God. The deeper, The Word is within us, the stronger our spirit man becomes over the flesh man. Glory to God.

20140617-211700-76620096.jpg
Knowing who we are in Christ is a powerful and beautiful thing! Having a personal relationship with God, through His Son, Jesus Christ, is even more powerful. (smile)

These two things bring faith and courage to be ourself and allows us to live life knowing that God loves and protects us well. (smile)

The joy of The Lord is my strength. (cheesy smile)

It comes down to choices and knowing His will for our life.

Let today be the day, we replace negative statements about ourself with God’s powerful Words of “I am” and “I can“. (smile)

Blessings, my friends and have a beautiful day, by faith! (smile)

Repeat After Me, I Am…

Updated to help us with those pesky thoughts! (smile) By faith, have an awesome day! (wink and a smile)

Ann - A Friend of Jesus 2013

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
~ Philippians 4:13 ~

Hello friends (smile) Today, let’s replace negative thoughts, about ourself, one thought at a time. (shock face)

Renewing the mind is serious business to keep moving forward. Look back at the past, as a gauge, not to dwell or give up. (nervous smile)

Replacing thoughts is another part, in the process, of growing and maturing. Thus, renewing the mind. (gritted teeth smile) Old habits die hard!

Sometimes, singing or praising Jesus can stop thoughts that can overwhelm us. (smile) Finding something that works is the key.

20130923-205310.jpg
We have to choose and refuse to entertain negative self thoughts. (smile) Faith, we must do it by faith! (wink and a smile)

As we grow, mature, our mind is renewed, it becomes easier to roll with things and stuff, no matter, who slings it! (cheesy smile) In time, that…

Blessed

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
~ Romans 8:28 ~

Hello friends. (smile) We are truly blessed. Regardless, of the season, we are walking through, we’re blessed.

I used to dread Mondays until I realized I’m blessed to see Mondays. (shock face) Ain’t life grand! (wink and a smile)

Sure, there maybe times that things and stuff or fill in the blank________________, causes angst, nevertheless, keep the faith that God has a plan and it’s something better. (smile)

20140615-225856-82736349.jpg
He can use all things to bring about our spiritual growth. (gritted teeth smile)

Recently, I had a few disappointments and another betrayal. I cried while praying, I thanked God that I was still standing and was blessed with more fruit of long-suffering and self control for my trouble! (shock face)

No worries, all is right in my world. Praise The Lord. (smile)

Sometimes, pain and hurt forces change. Learn to put things at the foot of the cross period.

No talking about woulda, coulda, shoulda. Chose to recognize that we blessed and God is in charge.

The process of spiritual growth becomes easier when we surrender.

How about you, what are your thoughts on spiritual growth? Inquiring minds want to know. (smile)

Today, regardless, of things and stuff or X, Y or Z, smile because you are blessed! (smile)

Thoughts and Prayers

Hello friends (smile) It’s a beautiful thing to know someone is thinking and praying for us. (cheesy smile)

It’s the little things that mean so much. (smile)

20140613-002447-1487595.jpg
Sometimes, things become overwhelming and we forget the little things that can make a day. (smile) Praise The Lord!

By faith, enjoy your blessed day, knowing you are in my thoughts and prayers! (smile)

A Prayer for You

Hello friends (smile) God bless you for your kind and encouraging words. (cheesy smile)

Let us walk, by faith, knowing that we can give all of our things and stuff to God! Talking and complaining, to everybody, won’t change anything–just gets us worked up or fired up. (shock face)

Let it go! Put it at the foot of the cross! Continue to pray! Remember to thank God for his mercy and his grace!

20130929-194444.jpg
By faith, choose to remain spiritual. Keep speaking His word! By faith, choose to keep moving forward. Refuse to remain stuck. Here’s the thing, God loves us unconditionally; there are no strings to his love. We stumble, He will still love us. His love never fails. He will never leave nor forsake us. All else is irrelevant. Praise The Lord! (smile)

God bless us, by faith, as You walk us through things and stuff and we meditate on Romans 8:28 – And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose and Philippians 4:13 – I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me. Let thy will be done.

Feel free to share your thoughts or comments. (smile) We’re not shy here. (wink and a smile)

You Are Special

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. ~ John 3:16 ~

Hello friends (smile) No matter where you are today, know that, you are special and God loves you. (cheesy smile)

20140607-055014-21014666.jpg
Someone blessed me yesterday with this reminder. God bless you, AP!

Today, have faith and be encouraged to replace any negative thoughts with “I am special” and “God loves me“.

It’s a beautiful thing to receive surprises, blessings and love just because. (smile) Praise The Lord!

So my blessing today is reminding you that you are special and God loves you! (smile)

A Prayer for Daily Grace

Our past mistakes, can only hurt today, when we dwell on them.
~Ann V Friend~

Hello friends. (smile) A powerful and specific prayer for daily grace.

Change is a beautiful thing, once we walk through it. It’s understanding the why at times that really test our willingness to endure. (shock face)
20140606-002306-1386830.jpg
I believe every painful pruning is God preparing us, for bigger and better stages, to be a blessing to those around us. We can’t have a testimony without a test or that once upon a time experience to share. (smile)
We can thank God for His mercy and His grace for those colorful times we react without thinking.

So, my friends, the next time something or someone pushes, practice the pause and thank God for the opportunity to grow. (wink)

Abundant blessings, my friends because the just does everything by faith. Praise The Lord. Enjoy your day.

As always, I welcome your thoughts. (smile)

Faith Builds Courage

Money can’t buy happiness, but it’s a lot more comfortable to cry in a Mercedes than on a bicycle. ~ Author Unknown ~

Hello friends (smile) The quote above had me laughing for days. (grin) Yesterday, my thoughts were blank and I had the courage to share that fact. (smile) I’m still in a silly mood and it feels wonderful! (smile) Roll with it!

Faith builds courage to step outside of our comfort zone. Faith builds courage to trust God when things fall apart. Faith builds courage to be real about feelings, thoughts, life.

There are days that blogging overwhelms me. (shock face) How about you, ever feel overwhelmed about blogging or anything? Many times, I believe we become overwhelmed when we forget to do what we can or lose our sense of humor to roll with it. Whatever it is! (smile)

20140604-210134-75694720.jpg
I’ve shared that I am trying to balance better. Well, it’s on my list. (smile) I can be the queen of procrastination in my personal life! (shock face)

I love the fact that I’m comfortable doing my own thing whenever. (smile) Somedays, I have nothing to say. Even when all is right in my world. Praise The Lord. (smile)

I figured out the pressure I put myself under because I’m still willy nilly in self discipline. Ugh. I have faith that someday, it will fall into place.

Until then, I am content with rolling with it and playing Words With Friends! (smile) Username is Ann Friend, for those who like to play! Game on. (smile)

I have found, no matter what we do, there are critics and naysayers! (shock face) God bless them. Have courage, to do, what you do, in spite of what they may say. (smile)

Have courage to get past the negatives. Have courage to keep the faith and be different. Have courage to recognize, what you bring to the table that helps someone. (smile)

Write what’s in your heart or what’s on your mind. There is a chance, if you like it, have faith that we’ll like it. (wink and a smile)

Another fun fact, sometimes, I overwhelmed myself that words won’t flow. The last few days, I’ve felt a joy of release. I talking, the release of laughter and being a little silly. (shock face)

It’s done wonders for the flow of words from the mind to the page, except yesterday. (grin)

Courage comes when you do whatever moves you forward by faith. (cheesy smile)

Thanks and God bless you for your continued support of my blog. {{hugs}}

Smile and have a blessed day! (cheesy smile) Your thoughts are always welcome. (smile)

Two Cents Tuesday Challenge: “Silly”

Every survival kit should include a sense of humor.
~ Author Unknown ~

Hello friends (smile) We could really have fun talking about silly. The lighter side of silly. The positive side of silly.

Silly things. Silly people. Silly me!

Silly with regards to our own sense of humor. (smile) We need a sense of humor or things in life will not be balanced. (smile)

Sometimes, silly can make us laugh. Sometimes, silly can work our last nerve. (shock face)

20140603-183528-66928526.jpg
Today, silly thoughts kept me smiling in my own little mind. (cheesy grin) I’ve learned to lighten up, even if I need to have a silly thought every now and then. (smile)

It’s unfortunate when others can’t or won’t recognize that we are all different. We talk and express ourself differently. (smile) Ah, a topic for another time, silly me. (smile)

I am learning some folks are just not happy with anything and are no nonsense types. God bless them!

Somedays, to be a little silly can be a blessing, at the end, of the day, because we walked through and laughed along the way. (cheesy smile)

Blessings and enjoy your evening! (smile)

Happy Only Four Days Until Friday

Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. ~ Philippians 4:11~

Hello friends (smile) Happy only four days until Friday. (cheesy smile)

Faith and grace, with contentment, can get us through any day by changing our perspective. (a wink and smile)

I no longer say ugh, it’s Monday. Gotta love change. (nervous smile)

20140601-220443-79483228.jpg
It comes down to perspective. How we choose to see anything and everything. How we should not internalize things and stuff, just because someone said something about nothing. (shock face) Choose to let it go. Don’t give silliness power! Rise about it by faith.

I’ll admit, under the right conditions, it is easy to react. Lack of focus; lack of food; lack of sleep; will or can contribute to the rising of our flesh. (shock face) Thank God for His mercy and His grace!

It takes courage to be different and not follow the crowd. (smile) Contentment, to say, all is right in our world, gives freedom to choose–spirit over flesh. (smile)

Someone reminded me, we’re human. Perspective. Have faith, grace and contentment until God changes our situation. (gritted teeth smile) A double portion of grace please! (smile)

Somedays, I have to dig deep because things and stuff piles up, my faith is tested, I forget to practice the pause, and psst, repentance time and thanking God for His mercy and His grace. Praise The Lord. (smile)

Ever have those days where anything and everything wants a piece of you? Growth and change is a life long process. Roll with it!

Perspective, faith, grace and contentment will get us closer to Friday. (smile)

Blessings, my friends, and have an awesome day. (smile) Feel free to share your thoughts. (smile)
