Let Go

People will always talk about you, especially when they envy you and the life you live. Let them…you affected their lives, they didn’t affect yours.
~ Unknown Author~

Luke 1:37 – For with God nothing shall be impossible.

Hello friends. (smile) Things are still busy and hectic at the circus. Glory to God for sustaining us. There is power in having faith and trust, in God, to let go.

IMG_0703.JPG
Let go of the past.
Let go of fear.
Let go of angst.
Let go of woulda, coulda, shoulda.
Let go of naysayers.
Let go of anything keeping us stuck.

Let go.

We give things and stuff or the Y’s in our world power each time we entertain nonsense. Shake free. Let go!

Sometimes, it’s only an opinion. Let go. Wisdom is to careless. Did you know, we give power to nonsense by engaging or taking it personal? Let go!

Sometimes, no response speaks volumes. It leaves a person speechless. (shock face)

Changing perspective on the way we look at a situation helps to let go.

It’s a beautiful thing to live and enjoy life because we know who we are in Christ.

Heavenly Father, we thank you for blessing us with wisdom and faith to let go of anything we’ve out grown. Amen!

Have a blessed and faithful let go day! (smile)

Contentment and Balance

We either make ourselves miserable or we make ourselves strong. The amount of effort is the same.
~ Carlos Castenada ~

Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me.
~ Philippians 4:11-13 ~

Hello friends. (smile) It’s been busy at the circus. Ever work so many days straight that you are not sure what day it is? I’ve just been there and done that. I didn’t even get a tee shirt. (smile) My sense of humor is back!

Things in life can get so hectic that all we can do is keep the faith and remember God’s amazing grace will get us through every single time. (smile)

Praise The Lord, I’ve been learning contentment and balance during the things and stuff, and X, Y or Z moments.

IMG_0701.JPG
It comes down to choices. It is, what it is, until it was. Choosing contentment and balance, to adjust, can make walking through easier.

I believe life is a balancing act everyday. Ah, to find contentment and balance is truly a blessing. Contentment and balance.

Balance time. Balance things and stuff. Balance emotions. Balance ebbs and flows. All lead to contentment and balance, when we stop trying to control everything. We can only control ourself.

Every challenge brings something needed to help us grow. Sometimes, when we lose focus, stuff just keeps on coming. Contentment and balance.

I’m at the circus 5 days a week. Somedays, it’s brutal at the circus. Thank God for His mercy and His grace. Contentment and balance.

There are all kinds of people at the circus. There are many tests at the circus. Contentment and balance.

Spiritual fruit grows at the circus. By the grace of God, my patience has grown. Contentment and balance.

Here is wisdom from above–going around the same mountain or having the same retest gets easier when we choose to adapt instead of react. Contentment and balance. I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me. (smile)

Contentment and balance is recognizing there will always be someone saying something about nothing.

Contentment and balance is understanding, at the end, of the day, life goes on regardless. Keep the faith!

Contentment and balance is trusting God, by faith, for the breakthrough.

Contentment and balance is thankfulness until God changes a situation.

Contentment and balance is changing our perspective and perception of things and stuff, even X, Y and Z. Sometimes, we don’t have all the right information.

Blessings, my friends, as we have contentment and balance where we are until God manifest the next step. (smile)

Faith and Grace

And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
~ 2 Corinthians 12:9 ~

Hello friends. (smile) it’s a beautiful thing to walk by faith and understand God’s amazing grace. Faith and grace is an individual thing, no one can walk it for us. Faith it.

Faith and grace will keep us moving forward in spite of things and stuff.

IMG_0800.JPG
Faith and grace brings comfort that God does not give us more than we can bear.

Faith and grace builds trust that God can work all things out.

Here’s faith and grace in action, no matter what comes our way, no matter what X, Y or Z does, faith and grace in God will get us through, every single time. Faith it.

Blessings, my friends, as we walk by faith and grace knowing God has equipped us for this day! (smile)

Strong Enough

Maintaining a complicated life is a great way to avoid changing it.
~ Elaine St James ~

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
~ Romans 8:28 ~

Hello friends. (smile) I’ve been walking through things and stuff. Romans 8:28, kept me strong enough to keep the faith and keep moving forward. Praise The Lord.

Strong enough is knowing our faith and trust in God will get us through.

Strong enough is understanding choices.

IMG_0697.JPG
Strong enough is forgiving and moving on.

Strong enough is realizing no answer is the answer.

There comes a time when we’re strong enough to say Thank you Lord for delivering me every single time I wanted to quit.

There comes a time when we’re strong enough to let go until timing is better.

There comes a time when we’re strong enough to know that God is working all things out and we can just wait on the manifestation.

Strong enough is courage to say enough. It is, what it is.

Strong enough is knowing friends who step up.

Strong enough is wisdom to let God change hearts.

Blessings, my friends and enjoy your weekend! (smile)

Be The Light

Sometimes we don’t say what we feel, not because we don’t want to, but because we don’t know how.
~ Unknown Author ~

Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
~ Matthew 5:14-16 ~

The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.
~ Matthew 6:22 ~

Hello friends. Be the light to those around us. Someone needs hope. Be the light.Someone needs courage. Be the light.

Someone needs a job. Be the light.

Someone lost their way. Be the light.

IMG_0781.JPG
Someone is carrying a burden too heavy to carry. Be the light.

Life can throw unexpected curves. Depression. Sickness. Brokenness. Fill in the blank______________. Be the light.

God is drawing people to the light. By faith, let’s be the light to those around us.

Blessings and enjoy your day being the light.

Life Can Change in A Instant

Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.
~ Proverbs 27:1~

This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
~ John 15:12 ~

Hello friends. Thank you for your kindness and prayers. I appreciate you! {{hugs}}. It’s a beautiful thing to let people know that we care. Glory to God. Life can change in an instant.

I don’t think anyone is ever prepared for the loss of those we know and love. Recently, I’ve come to realized that tears are a blessings too. Life can change in an instant.

IMG_0696.JPG
Sometimes, loss has a way of putting what’s important, in our life, in perspective. Life can change in an instant.

Things and stuff, or X, Y and Z moments can really be put in perspective when you realize it is, what it is. Let it go. Life can change in an instant.

Tomorrow is not promised to anyone. Life can change in an instant.

Love and forgiveness comes from within our hearts. Love and forgiveness are essential in maintaining life in our relations. Life can change in an instant.

Sometimes, we must keep showing love until those, in our life, see Jesus within us. Many times, we judge what we don’t know or understand. Sometimes, we just don’t know any better until Jesus shows us how. Life can change in an instant.

To maintain life, in our relations, start celebrating the positive qualities, forget the past and appreciate what each bring to the table. Life can change in an instant.

Life is too precious to waste holding stuff that keeps us from loving and forgiving one another. Life can change in an instant.

God is the only one who can be all things to each and everyone of us. Even if we speak, Philippians 4:13, I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me, we are not equipped to handle every single need. That role is designed for God. Give it all to Him.

Blessings, my friends, by faith, as we learn to maintain life in our relations. Life can change in an instant.

All the Writing Questions (A Blog Hop)

My beautiful friend, Shade, who blogs at Prophetic Voice, invited me to this blog hop. Shade is an awesome blogger. I encourage you to visit her blog.

The idea of this blog hop is to answer 4 questions and then introduces 3 blogging friends of your choice. You would then post on your blog your answers to the 4 questions and introduce your three blogger friends in the post.

Please take a look at this link for an example of how it works.

http://aliajoy.com/writing-questions-blog-hop/

Unfortunately, I did not coordinate to get 3 blogging friends, in time, so my answers to the questions are as follows:

IMG_0692.JPG
1) What am I writing or working on?

I am writing a spiritual book, plus posting to my blog, almost daily. I have a general idea of what I want to put in the book. Still bouncing back and forth with merging chapters.

I’m a member and post monthly to the Insecure Writer’s Support Group (IWSG). Its also a blog hop. IWSG post the first Wednesday of the month and I participate off and on for the Two Cents Tuesday Challenge.

Currently, I am having faith that I will complete the September National Blog Posting Month (NaBloPoMo) hosted by BlogHer.

2) How does my work differ from others of it’s genre?

My work is not in any specific genre. I mostly write in the category of spiritual and life things and stuff. I’m still shocked that I continue to blog.

3) Why do I write what I write?

I write to encourage and help others. I write to share those difficult and challenging things that life throws at us; giving courage to keep the faith and roll with it. I write to share another perspective.

4) How does my process work?

I have no process these days. I’m thankful when words flow to complete a post! I keep the faith, trusting The Lord with words he pours into my heart to share.

IWSG Don’t Mind Criticism

IMG_0340.JPG
Even if you are not the best, you are better than those who never try.
~ Author Unknown ~

Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.
~ Romans 14:19 ~

Hello friends. (smile) I extend a warm welcome to Alex Cavanaugh and the IWSG September co-hosts, Laura at My Baffling Brain, Mark Koopmans, Shah Wharton, and Sheena-Kay Graham.

IWSG celebrates their three year anniversary of posting! Wahoo, Happy Anniversary! (smile)

Don’t mind criticism is my encouragement this month. What wisdom in the criticism quote below. I like it. (wink)

Something new to practice! (smile)

IMG_0480.JPG
Sometimes, we have to wonder about the motives behind those who love to criticize others. (shock face) Free will, I suppose.

Believing in our abilities, where we know that we know, helps to deflect criticism. This is where faith and confidence grows, each time, we do our own thing, regardless of critics.

Sometimes, criticism is a good thing. It forces us out, of our comfort zone, to bigger and better opportunities.

Remember Romans 8:28, And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Sometimes, God has something better. Wahoo, thank you Lord!

Blessings, my friends, by faith, as we look at criticism from a different perspective and as Alex likes to remind us–have fun along the way. (smile)

Renewing The Mind

Nothing changes if we never replace things and stuff keeping us bound to it.
~ Ann Friend ~

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
~ Romans 12:2 ~

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
~ Philippians 4:8 ~

Hello friends. (smile) Thoughts. Memories. The past, to include yesterday, has no power over our future, unless we continue to think on it. Renewing the mind can be a beautiful thing when we realize that nothing or anyone on this earth is perfect. Replacing negative thoughts with positive thoughts helps to renew the mind!

IMG_0779.JPG
We all have something about ourself being worked or pruned to produce more spiritual fruit. It’s no secret that mine is patience and long-suffering! I stopped responding to every negative thought that I entertained. Thus, my new sound bite, I careless. (smile)

It’s truly freedom to have choices. Remembering the past can be a good thing if we’re looking back for reference. Once upon a time, I struggled with negative thoughts and bad memories that kept angst and fear within my heart. It was also draining to carry.

When I surrendered to the Holy Spirit and Jesus became my Lord and Savior, old things became new and I began meditating on Philippians 4:8 to renew my mind. Praise The Lord.

Glory to God for the victory!

Through the process of growing and maturing, sometimes, the things we remember are not as accurate as we perceived. Sometimes, we have to choose to acknowledge it, forgive it and let it go. Renew the mind.

Renewing the mind brings change. Renewing the mind brings growth. Renewing the mind sets us free to make better choices. Renewing the mind opens up possibilities to see life from a different perspective.

Blessings, my friends, by faith, as we renew our mind and meditate on Philippians 4:8. (smile)

Discipline

Roll with it.
~ AF~

Hello friends. (smile) I’m walking on the wild side, by participating, once again in the National Blog Posting Month (NaBloPoMo) hosted by BlogHer.

I’m going to have faith that I’ll finish the month this time. (smile) Keeping the faith and building my courage up for the big writing challenge coming in November. (shock face)

The theme for September’s NaBloPoMo is healing. The neat thing about participating is that they provide writing prompts or we can write about anything; as long as we post daily. (wink)

IMG_0792.JPG
Discipline. Participating will help discipline my time for writing and meet other bloggers. I have found that I do better when I have a challenge with a timeframe. (wink)

I may have to reduce myself to one game I can play a day. (shock face) Withdrawals to one game with no baby steps. Ugh!

How about you, any discipline challenges?

Faith. I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me. Praise The Lord. (smile)

Blessings, my friends, as you enjoy Labor Day festivities or just relax doing something fun. (smile)
