Appreciate

Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
~ Galatians 5:1 ~

As long as we have memories, Yesterday remains; As long as we have hope, Tomorrow waits, As long as we have friendship, Today is beautiful.

Let us appreciate our answered prayers.

Let us appreciate the little things that family and friends done for us.

Let us appreciate the X’s, who worked our last nerve; the Y’s, who helped us grow; and the Z’s, who makes us smile.

Let us appreciate the beautiful memories that touched our heart.

Let us appreciate the things and stuff (challenges) that helped us produce more spiritual fruit. Got patience? (smile)

Let us appreciate God’s daily mercy and grace given to us.

Let us appreciate how God worked all things out for our good.

Let us appreciate each other’s uniqueness.

Let us appreciate knowing and waiting for God’s best.

Let us appreciate God’s protection. Thank you Lord!

Blessings and abundant faith, my friends, as we have a Happy and blessed New Year! (smile)

Psst, please feel free to add what you appreciate about 2014. (wink)

Practice The Pause

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
~ Philippians 4:13 ~

It isn’t always necessary to achieve great things. Sometimes, just surviving is a great achievement.
~ Author Unknown ~

Hello friends. (smile) How are you, doing? (wink)

I got a lot of book writing done the last few days with no stress. Praise The Lord. My chores, not so much. (wink)

/home/wpcom/public_html/wp-content/blogs.dir/656/48782359/files/2014/12/img_0764.jpg
For those of us returning to the circus, let’s keep the faith to practice the pause while speaking “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me”.

Sing a song. Smile. Take a walk. Get a beverage. Praise The Lord until the mood changes. Anything, just keep the faith and practice the pause. (smile)

We’re too blessed to be stressed! (humor)

Blessings as we remember, I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me! The rest is irrelevant and let’s put it at the foot of the cross. (smile)

Enjoy your day!

Greatest Test of Faith

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Enough

Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
~ Jeremiah 17:7-8 ~

Expectations are like preferences and perspectives; they will be different for everyone. So getting angry and frustrated by differences is foolish; until God prefects unconditional love within us. This is a lifelong process. ~ Ann Friend ~

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
~ Romans 8:28 ~

And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
~ Philippians 2:11-13 ~

Hello friends. (smile) Ever get tired of things and stuff and/or Y moments and say enough? I’ve been working on this “enough” rant for awhile. (shock face) By the grace of God and the Holy Spirit, I was able to finish this message with love and encouragement to illustrate negative and positive with regards to enough. Praise The Lord. (smile)

Even those of us, who love The Lord, get tired and say enough. I’m keeping it real. Everyday that God wakes us up brings opportunities, by faith, to run our race and work out our salvation, as well as, loving those around us.

Here is where faith and a relationship with God brings comfort. He is the only one who can change a heart. There are some things we’re not meant to carry. There are some Y’s, not ours to fix. Here is the wisdom of Romans 8:28, all things can and will be used by God to get us where we need to be.

/home/wpcom/public_html/wp-content/blogs.dir/656/48782359/files/2014/12/img_0755.jpg
We learn by repetition. We learn by our mistakes. We learn by letting go. We learn to have faith and trust God’s timing.

Life will bring challenges via things and people. Idiosyncrasies. Adapting and adjusting. Loving one another in spite of our differences. In the 21st century, we must be open enough to change.

Being spirit led and having spiritual fruit–love (giving), joy (gladness), peace (free from worry and fear), long suffering (patience), gentleness (kindness), goodness (generosity), faith (dependability), meekness (gentleness) and temperance (self-control), within us brings inner change that lights the outside of us.

Until we’re ready to take responsibility of our choices and let God walk us through, we won’t understand the freedom of saying enough, Lord, let thy will be done.

Enough of impatience. 2 Corinthians 6:3-10 – Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed: But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses, In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings; By pureness, by knowledge, by long suffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned, By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left, By honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true As unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and, behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed; As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.

Enough of spitefulness. Romans 12:18-21 – Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

Enough of fear. Isaiah 41:10-13 -Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish. Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, even them that contended with thee: they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought. For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.

/home/wpcom/public_html/wp-content/blogs.dir/656/48782359/files/2014/12/img_0733.jpg
Enough of doubt. Matthew 11:23 – For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

Enough of unbelief. Matthew 17:20 – And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

Enough of envy. Romans 13:12-14 – The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

Enough of pettiness. Matthew 23-24 – Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone. Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.

Enough of negativity. Luke 6:27-28 – But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you. And also Luke 6:45 – A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

Enough of judging. Matthew 7:1-3 – Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

Enough of anger. Ephesians 4:31-32 – Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clam our, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.

Enough is to know what scripture to speak to situations. Enough is to know that prayer is powerful. Enough is to know faith.

Enough is a blessing when we’re ready, God will provide the next step to move forward.

Your comments or thoughts are welcome. (smile)

Hashtag (#) Careless

No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.
~ Isaiah 54:17 ~

“Why can’t somebody give us a list of things that everybody thinks and nobody says, and another list of things that everybody says and nobody thinks?”
~ Oliver Wendell Holmes, Sr. ~

Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
~ 1 Peter 5:7 ~

Hello friends. (smile) It’s a beautiful thing to cast anything and everything to God. Hashtag careless. Praise The Lord.

My sound bite “roll with it” has evolved to “hashtag careless“. (wink)

/home/wpcom/public_html/wp-content/blogs.dir/656/48782359/files/2014/12/img_0751.jpg
Ah, the ebbs and flows of challenges. The testing of patience and self control. Things and stuff. Those X and Y angst moments. Let it go and hashtag careless.

We can’t internalize garbage. Hashtag careless.

We don’t have to participate in every silly conversation. Hashtag careless.

We won’t have fear, by faith. Hashtag careless.

We can thank God for his mercy and grace even when we stumble.

We can be grateful that God will never leave us nor forsake us.

We are too blessed to be stressed. Put it at the foot of the cross! Hashtag careless! (smile)

Slice of Heaven

The consciousness of loving and being loved brings a warmth and richness to life that nothing else can bring.”
~ Oscar Wilde ~

Hello friends. (smile) Thanks and God bless you for providing a slice of heaven into my life! (smile) and {{hugs}} I appreciate you!

It’s the little things that deliver a slice of heaven into someone’s life.

Providing encouragement in a time of need. Providing a smile can change someone’s challenging moment. Providing strength just by being around. Listening when someone has angst.

/home/wpcom/public_html/wp-content/blogs.dir/656/48782359/files/2014/12/img_0748.jpg
One of the hardest lessons to remember is that each of us are going through something.

That something will test us to produce more spiritual fruit, (love (giving), joy (gladness), peace (free from worry and fear), long suffering (patience), gentleness (kindness), goodness (generosity), faith (dependability), meekness (gentleness) and temperance (self-control)) within us.

No matter the something, we provide a slice of heaven into someone’s life every time we lessen their angst by the “one another” scriptures below:

Love one another – John 13:34 and John 15:12,17.
Forgive one another – Ephesians 4:32 and Colossians 3:13.
Be servants to one another – Galatians 5:13.
Show hospitality to one another – 1 Peter 4:7-10.
Pray for one another – James 5:16.
Build up (edify) one another – Romans 14:19, 1 Thessalonians 5:11.
Greet one another – Romans 16:16, 1 Peter 5:14.
Forbear one another – Ephesians. 4:1-2 and Colossians 3:13-14.
Do not judge one another – Romans 14:13.
Do not speak evil of one another – James 4:11.
Do not murmur against one another – James 5:9.
Do not bite and devour one another – Galatians 5:15.
Do not provoke and envy one another – Galatians 5:26.
Have the same care for one another – 1 Corinthians 12:25-26.
Receive one another – Romans 15:7.
Teach one another – Colossians 3:16.
Admonish (counsel) one another – Romans 15:14 and Colossians 3:16.
Submit to one another – Ephesians 5:21-22.
Confess your sins to one another – James 5:16.
Do not lie to one another – Colossians 3:9.
Be kind to one another – Ephesians 4:32.
Comfort one another – 1 Thessalonians 4:18, 5:11.

Blessings, friends, as we provide a slice of heaven into each other’s life today. (smile)
