Ann – A Friend of Jesus 2013

Sharing life through the Word of God with love, encouragement and faith in challenging times (smile)

D is for…

There will always be people with different views from yours. Learn to respect their right to a different view.

But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
~ 1 Corinthians 2:14 ~

Hello friends. (smile) I’m delighted to try something different today. I struggle with discipline, especially in my personal life.

Things like chores, cleaning my vehicle get lumped into the I’ll do it tomorrow category. More about this when we get to P is for… (wink)

Here is a fun fact about me. I love playing mind numbing games like Angry Birds with Friends. Game play has a way of removing those pesky thoughts that keep on coming. Play a game, they will leave.

My acrostic on discernment.

I believe spiritual discernment is a gift from above that develops within to know the difference between wisdom and rhetoric. Again, more about this in W is for… and R is for…

Wahoo, something to do. (smile)

Abundant blessings, friends and enjoy your Easter. (smile)

Feel free to share your thoughts.

Discernment — good word for “D”. It is true that the world calls Christianity foolishness and isn’t that just what Satan wants?! But for those who know God, they know the truth and can discern Him from things of the world.
