Celebrate Potato Chips

Everyone smiles in the same language.
~ Unknown Author ~

Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.
~ Romans 14:19 ~

Hello friends. (smile) Happy Friday! Welcome Lexa and co-hosts to another blessed Friday to celebrate the small things.

This week I celebrate anything that brings a smile. (grin)

A little boy wanted to meet God. He knew it was a long trip to where God lived, so he packed his suitcase with a bag of potato chips and a six-pack of root beer and started his journey.

When he had gone about three blocks, he met an old woman. She was sitting in the park, just staring at some pigeons. The boy sat down next to her and opened his suitcase. He was about to take a drink from his root beer when he noticed that the old lady looked hungry, so he offered her some chips. She gratefully accepted it and smiled at him.

Her smile was so pretty that the boy wanted to see it again, so he offered her a root beer. Again, she smiled at him. The boy was delighted! They sat there all afternoon eating and smiling, but they never said a word.

As twilight approached, the boy realized how tired he was and he got up to leave; but before he had gone more than a few steps, he turned around, ran back to the old woman, and gave her a hug. She gave him her biggest smile ever.

When the boy opened the door to his own house a short time later, his mother was surprised by the look of joy on his face. She asked him, “What did you do today that made you so happy?” He replied, “I had lunch with God.” But before his mother could respond, he added, “You know what? She’s got the most beautiful smile I’ve ever seen!”

Meanwhile, the old woman, also radiant with joy, returned to her home. Her son was stunned by the look of peace on her face and he asked, “Mother, what did you do today that made you so happy?” She replied! “I ate potato chips in the park with God.” However, before her son responded, she added, “You know, he’s much younger than I expected.”

Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.

People come into our lives for a reason, a season, or a lifetime! Embrace all equally.

Have lunch with God, bring chips.

Blessings, my friends, as we enjoy today by faith and with a smile!

Living With No Regrets

Keep the faith today. (smile) The blessings of The Lord is all around us! It’s a good day to have a great day with a little faith. (wink)

Ann - A Friend of Jesus 2013

Let us live life with no regrets! Each day that God wakes us up is a blessing! Each day that we focus on what is wrong in the world, and in each other, negates the blessing. Let us adapt and love one another by the grace of God since none of us know what the next second, minute or hour brings.

Yes, there are challenges everywhere. Let us be specific in our prayers to God and have faith that He will move in mighty ways and show just how powerful He is! After all, Revelation 1:8 says “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith The Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty”.

Praise The Lord and God bless us as we keep moving forward! 😜

Psalm 40 – Waiting On God

Two places are most valuable in this world. The nicest place is to be in someones thoughts. The safest place is to be in someones prayers.
~ Unknown Author~

Hello friends. God bless those who help and encourage while we wait. God bless those who let us know we’re in their thoughts and prayers.

{{Hugs}} and prayers, for all going through _____________ and waiting on God for _____________.

Praise The Lord for the comfort of Psalms.

I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.
And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord.

Blessed is that man that maketh the Lord his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.

Many, O Lord my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.

Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required.

Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me, I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.

I have preached righteousness in the great congregation: lo, I have not refrained my lips, O Lord, thou knowest.

I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation: I have not concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truth from the great congregation.

Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O Lord: let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me.

For innumerable evils have compassed me about: mine iniquities have taken hold upon me, so that I am not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of mine head: therefore my heart faileth me.

Be pleased, O Lord, to deliver me: O Lord, make haste to help me.

Let them be ashamed and confounded together that seek after my soul to destroy it; let them be driven backward and put to shame that wish me evil. Let them be desolate for a reward of their shame that say unto me, Aha, aha.

Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: let such as love thy salvation say continually, The Lord be magnified. But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God.
~ Psalm 40 ~

Praise The Lord, for faith, patience and gratefulness while waiting.

Celebrate Grace to Adjust

The robbed that smiles, steals something from the thief.
~ William Shakespeare ~

The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand.
~ Psalm 37:23-24 ~

Hello friends. (smile) Happy Friday! Welcome Lexa and co-hosts to another blessed Friday to celebrate the small things.

There are times obedience is better than sacrifice. Again, I missed the mark to complete NaBloPoMo. (smile)

Wahoo, something to do.

Sometimes, plans change. This week, I celebrate grace to adjust. It is a beautiful thing to understand God’s grace and the ability to adjust to life.

Grace to adjust can silence psst.

Grace to adjust realizes it is, what it is.

Grace to adjust ___________(fill in the blank)

My first allegory poem:

Life has challenges
Ebbs and flows
Things and stuff
Perception is different to everyone

Can be temporary
Can be long-suffering
Can be tough
Get understanding of self

Exposes weakness
Exposes strength
Exposes attitude
End result gives experience

Brings growth
Builds strength
Defines character
Enhances maturity

Time spent at the circus
This place that pay wages
Where challenges are daily
Coming at various stages

There is pressure
There is angst
There is unbalance
Enough to be weaken

Slow down to breath
Slow down to pause
Slow down to adjust
Electing to choose grace

Grace to crawl or walk
Grace to endure
Grace to adjust
Navigating through

It’s the end of the day
A turned up look
Beaten but not broken
Now experienced because grace got you through

Praise The Lord for his grace.

Abundant blessings, my friends as we choose grace to adjust. Have an awesome day!

Faith To Start A Day Blessing

Often in life we forget the things we should remember and remember the things we should forget.
~ Ritu Ghatourey, Indian Inspirational Author ~

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
~ 2 Corinthians 5:17 ~

Hello friends. (smile) Sometimes, the greatest wisdom is simple.

To remember and forget is a choice.

Praise The Lord for choices.

Praise The Lord for new beginnings.

Praise The Lord for spiritual fruit within.

Blessings friends, as we remember love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance builds us up, from the inside out, and shows.

Faith To Sleep Well Tonight

One day at a time–this is enough. Do not look back and grieve over the past for it is gone; and do not be troubled about the future, for it has not yet come. Live in the present, and make it so beautiful it will be worth remembering.
~ Ida Scott Taylor ~

Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: by whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; and patience, experience; and experience, hope:  and hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
~ Romans 5:1-5 ~

Hello friends. (smile) Praise The Lord, at the end, of the day, we’re still standing or sitting with faith.

His mercy and grace abounding.

Blessings friends, as we release stuff, with faith to sleep well tonight.

Faith

That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
~1 Corinthians 2:5 ~

Hello friends. (smile) Today, let’s walk by faith, in every aspect of our day!

Faith for that job. Faith that the property sells. Faith for that mate. Faith for that promotion. Faith to get through today. Faith for ____________(fill in the blank).

It’s a beautiful thing to have faith. I love this Pinterest quote!

IMG_0613.JPG
Say it with me, faith. Live it, give it, walk it, talk it, own it, loan it, grow it, show it. (smile)

In time, faith, in God, gives and builds courage to live and enjoy our life, in spite of things and stuff. Thank you Lord!

I chuckled, as I read the loan it part. I have enough faith to loan anyone, some of mine. (shock face)

For my little worry-warts, I’ll loan you some of my faith today. (smile) Enjoy it!

Blessings, my friends, as we live by faith and enjoy our day! (smile)
