IWSG Purpose

In life, you will realize there is a purpose for every person you meet. Some are there to test you, some will use you, some will teach you, and some will bring out the worst in you, while others bring out the best.
~ Jay Danzie ~

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
~ Romans 8:28 ~

Hello friends and welcome Alex and my February IWSG co-hosts: Allison Gammons, Tamara Narayan, Eva E. Solar and Rachel Pattison.

Wahoo, I’ll excited for this co-host opportunity and displaying our new badge. (grin) Thank you Alex, I like it, I like it a lot.

It’s quite liberating to realize things and stuff, Y moments, even pushing our buttons serve a purpose.

The blessings is understanding that God can use anyone to test us.  Anyone.

A purpose, whether positive or negative helps us ________________ (fill in the blank).

Write that book. Break that habit. Job promotion. Meet new friends.

Keeping the faith makes 2016 a year of possibilities. Thank you Lord. (smile)

Abundant blessings, my friends to realize there is a purpose for every person we encounter. (wink)

I would love to hear your thoughts. (smile)

  1. That is so true. Everything happens for a reason. We may not see why at first, or we may not see why at all. But whatever or whoever it was, it needed to be. Thank you for co-hosting this month!

    1. Thanks Alex, no worries (smile) I’m honored you make the time. I’m hopping my way through! Thanks for the opportunity. I’ll pinch hit if you are ever short for a co-host (wink) Blessings!

  2. I think this applies to anything really. Anything that happens to us, either encourages us or teaches us. Anything positive in our life encourages us, everything negative tests us. How will we pass the test? Will we? Do we take failures and learn from them? Do we take abuse and learn how NOT to act? Sometimes it’s all in how we look at things. Truly, there is a time for everything. For every person, for every event, for everything good or bad.
    Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

  3. I love your posts – they’re always so encouraging and upbeat. I’m bot sure what my purpose is, but I’m muddling through with optimism. 😉

    1. God bless you Lexa, your comment makes me smile bigger (smile) I’m muddling through as well in finding my true purpose. In time, we’ll know that we know. (smile) Enjoy the rest of the week! Blessings!!

  4. Hi,
I received Romans 8:28 in 1978 at a crucial time in my life and it gave me hope. I love this verse.
    Thank you for co-hosting.
    All the best.
    Shalom,
    Patricia
