Ann – A Friend of Jesus 2013

Sharing life through the Word of God with love, encouragement and faith in challenging times (smile)

Celebrate Life

We have to learn to appreciate and enjoy life! Try to enjoy the small things; like peace, silence, sleep, people, ability to walk, breathe and laugh easy. Stop stressing over things you have no control over. Accept your life as it is and stop comparing it to others. You will learn to enjoy your surroundings and embrace your life in a better way!
~ Charles P ~

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
~ Romans 8:28~

Hello friends. (smile) Welcome Lexa and co-hosts, L.G. Keltner @Writing Off The Edge and Tonja Drecker @Kidbits Blog, to another blessed Friday to celebrate the small things.

This week, I celebrate life with all its stuff. Please know I share my journey and all my vulnerabilities to help others. I give glory to God for courage to share the ebbs and flows.

Life gets so much easier when we work on our things and stuff. I’ve been around the same mountain for months. I’ve endured challenges that were not pretty. I chose to stay positive and be okay until…..

All in all, I’ve kept the faith trusting in the only person who strengtheneth me. My Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

I perceive victory as I continue to renew my mind and let the past go bye-bye.

It’s quite liberating to release the woulda, coulda and shoulda of yesterday.

It’s quite powerful to forgive daily.

It’s a beautiful thing, to understand, how God can use all things to make us better and bring his best into our life.

So I celebrate seeing life through different lens and appreciate his love and grace when I’m challenged. Thank you Lord.

Abundant blessings, my friends and keep the faith.

Your comments or thoughts are welcome. (smile)

Stressing over things I can’t control. That’s something I need to work on. And those woulda, coulda, shouldas — those, too. Hope you’re having a good week!

We live in an imperfect world, but it’s no challenge for the One who lives in us.

I couldn’t agree with you more. It IS hard to let the woulda, coulda, shoulda go and learn to forgive both others for their flaws and yourself for your mistakes. But we certainly are the better for it! Have a lovely weekend! 🙂
