Sharing life through the Word of God with love, encouragement and faith in challenging times (smile)

IWSG Self-Encouragement

I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.
~ Thomas Edison ~

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
~ Ecclesiastes 3:1 ~

Hello friends. (smile) Wahoo, it the first Wednesday of the month; where the Insecure Writer’s Support Group (IWSG) share and support one another. Welcome Alex and our IWSG May co-hosts:

Today, I’m sharing self-encouragement. (wink)

I’ve learned self-encouragement, with some faith, is vital to believe we have what it takes to do
__________________(fill in the blank).

For me, self-encouragement is required to keep learning and honing my writing style. (smile)

Self-encouragement and my faith evolved me to a novice writer.

I keep the faith that someday my book will be finished. Praise The Lord, I’ve finally settled on a title.

Self-encouragement drowns out doubt. Self-encouragement and faith will get us through seasons of waiting.

Abundantly blessings and keep the faith to enjoy today.

I would love to hear your thoughts on self-encouragement. (smile)

Self encouragement and confidence is vital. For anything, really, but especially for writing. Great post!

There are times when I’m the only person to keep myself going. But we can’t let the bad thoughts keep us down, right? We must remain optimistic and keep plugging on. Happy writing!

I completely agree on the importance of self-encouragement. None of us would be successful without it. Congrats on picking the title for your book!

Your post about self-encouragement was inspiring. I’m glad that you included “Enjoy the journey.” That’s so important! We do need to encourage ourselves to keep going when the going gets tough! Congrats on finding your title. I’m still working with a “working title.” All the best in your writing!

This is so true, but so hard for me. I’m way too self-deprecating. I feel like somehow I internalized this idea that if I praise or promote myself, I’m being selfish and arrogant. I need to get over that if this writing thing is going to become a career, so thanks for these words.

Thanks Stephanie, it’s a process and learning to break old habits. What we tell ourself is huge if we remember “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me”. God gave us gifts and talents that bring glory to him (smile) Have faith to encourage yourself and let your talent shine. (smile) Blessings!

I enjoyed reading your post this morning. After coming off of a successful A to Z Blog Challenge, I have been climbing step for step outside of an empty hole. This post encouragement me and confirmed my methods of getting out.
