IWSG Self-Encouragement

I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.

Today, I’m sharing self-encouragement. (wink)

I’ve learned self-encouragement, with some faith, is vital to believe we have what it takes to do

For me, self-encouragement is required to keep learning and honing my writing style. (smile)

Self-encouragement and my faith evolved me to a novice writer.

I keep the faith that someday my book will be finished. Praise The Lord, I’ve finally settled on a title.

Self-encouragement drowns out doubt. Self-encouragement and faith will get us through seasons of waiting.

Abundantly blessings and keep the faith to enjoy today.

I would love to hear your thoughts on self-encouragement. (smile)

  1. There are times when I’m the only person to keep myself going. But we can’t let the bad thoughts keep us down, right? We must remain optimistic and keep plugging on. Happy writing!

  2. I completely agree on the importance of self-encouragement. None of us would be successful without it. Congrats on picking the title for your book!

  3. Your post about self-encouragement was inspiring. I’m glad that you included “Enjoy the journey.” That’s so important! We do need to encourage ourselves to keep going when the going gets tough! Congrats on finding your title. I’m still working with a “working title.” All the best in your writing!

  4. This is so true, but so hard for me. I’m way too self-deprecating. I feel like somehow I internalized this idea that if I praise or promote myself, I’m being selfish and arrogant. I need to get over that if this writing thing is going to become a career, so thanks for these words.

    1. Thanks Stephanie, it’s a process and learning to break old habits. What we tell ourself is huge if we remember “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me”. God gave us gifts and talents that bring glory to him (smile) Have faith to encourage yourself and let your talent shine. (smile) Blessings!

  5. I’ve always liked that Edison quote, too. Thank you for your lovely post. Just what I needed to read. Congrats on your progress in choosing a title. I’d love to know what kind of writing you do. 🙂

    1. Thanks bunches Lori (smile) My writing is along the same line as my blog posts…spiritual life, encouragement. I’m writing non-fiction. Blessings!!
