Celebrate Every Good Thing

Cultivate the habit of being grateful for every good thing that comes to you, and to give thanks continuously.
~ Ralph Waldo Emerson ~

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
~ Romans 8:28 ~

Hello friends. (smile) Welcome Lexa and co-hosts, L.G. Keltner @Writing Off The Edge and Tonja Drecker @Kidbits Blog, to another blessed Friday to celebrate the small things.

Hope your Thanksgiving was blessed and all is well in your world.

This week, celebrate every good thing that blesses us. Thank you Lord.

Walking through challenges.
Family, friends and enemies that help us grow.
Aging and accepting physical changes.
God always provides for our needs.

Answered prayers. Encouraging words to keep moving forward.

___________________ (fill in the blank) to what blesses you.

A combination of things contribute to every good thing that blesses us.

Abundant blessings, my friends, keep the faith and enjoy your weekend.

The Fruit of Temperance (Self-Control)

Sometimes, not saying anything is the best answer.
You see, silence can never be misquoted.
~ Unknown Author ~

He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.
~ Proverbs 25:28 ~

People will always talk about you, especially when they envy you and the life you live. Let them…you affected their lives, they didn’t affect yours.

Hello friends. (smile) Hope all is well in your world. Wahoo, encouraging thoughts to share. Praise The Lord.

The fruit of temperance (self-control) is powerful to behold and amazing in action.

Self-control produces growth that eventually is an acquired skill in any environment.

Self-control has control over self, regardless of what others say or do.

Self-control is a choice.
Self-control is spiritual maturity.
Self-control is inner strength.
Self-control is a bridled tongue.
Self-control is a character builder.

Self-control weathers the seasons.

Self-control rises above mediocrity and pettiness.

Self-control can be intimidating to dead bones walking.

Self-control can keep moving forward.

Self-control recognizes opinions are just opinions.

Self-control thanks God, for his mercy and grace, when stumbling moments happen.

Abundant blessings, my friends, to keep the faith, during trying times.

Celebrate Honoring Soldiers

Hello friends. (smile) Welcome Lexa and co-hosts, L.G. Keltner @Writing Off The Edge and Tonja Drecker @Kidbits Blog, to another blessed Friday to celebrate the small things.

Hope all is well in your world. This week I celebrate two things.

Honoring Soldiers, past and present, across The United States Armed Forces. Thank you for serving our country. God bless you.

I lost a dear friend to breast cancer this week. I celebrate and thank God, I got to spend a few days last week with her.

I’m comforted, by sharing, that life can change in an instant, live life with all its stuff, with hope, sprinkled with a lot faith.

Have no regrets. Own choices. Celebrate the small things.

Abundant blessings, my friends, have hope and keep the faith and enjoy your weekend.

IWSG November 2nd Question

Hello friends. (smile) I’m very late for the first Wednesday of the month. (shock face) Hope all is well in your world. Welcome Alex and October IWSG Co-hosts:

Joylene Nowell Butler
Jen Chandler
Mary Aalgaar
Lisa Buie Collard
Tamara Narayan
Tyrean Martinson
Christine Rains

November 2nd Question: What is your favorite aspect of being a writer?

My favorite aspect of being a writer is staying positive, by encouraging myself to be different, as I do my thing. (wink)

I like being different. It works for me.

There are times, I run out of time. Too many competing requirements.

There are other times, I just want to quit.

Praise the Lord, for faith and hope, because things eventually work out. (smile)

Abundant blessings friends and keep the faith.
