IWSG July 5th – One Valuable Lesson Learned

Whatever may be our natural talents, the art of writing is not acquired all at once.
~Jean-Jacques Rousseau ~

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
~ Philippians 4:13 ~

Hello friends. (smile) Hope all is well and you’re keeping the faith. (wink) Yay, its the first Wednesday of the month where we share…

Welcome Alex and July IWSG Co-hosts: Tamara Narayan, Pat Hatt, Patricia Lynne, Juneta Key and Doreen McGettigan.

IWSG Day Question:  What is one valuable lesson you’ve learned since you started writing?

I love the quote above. Writing has been an ebb and flow learning experience. I believe we learn by repetition. I believe encouragement is the greatest blessing we can give one another.

I’ve learned many things the last four years as a writer.  Still struggle with the rules.  Bygones.

I’m blessed to be a part of two awesome and established writer groups.  Both groups have published authors.

I’ve grown in my creative writing ability. (wink) Praise The Lord.

The one valuable lesson I’ve learned is confidence in my own writing style. I stumbled into finding my writer’s voice.

Thank you, friends, for the encouragement, it kept me from the “q” word. Bygones. (wink)

So the plan is to keep writing and moving forward until my book is finished because I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Abundant blessings, my friends, because the just does everything by faith. Enjoy the rest of your week.

  2. I have learned to write less but say more. That’s my lesson from 5 years of blogging. Also, photographs bring more comments. I fought this long and hard! My youngest daughter insisted. It is true we are a visual society. Thanks, dear Felicia! (Daughter)
Hope you have a blessed rest of the week, Ann. 🙏 🕊

    1. Thanks my friend, I agree with you. Sometimes less is better (smile) I usually do photographs, but last night, I say bygones (smile) Abundant blessing! {{hugs}}

  3. Amen, victory over any challenges we face has already been vicariously secured and given. It’s up to us to believe and clothe ourselves in it. Without him (Jesus) we can do nothing but with him the impossible becomes possible.

But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

    1. Thanks, greaterwayoflife, to God be the glory. Appreciate your wisdom and reminder that victory does come to those who believe in The Lord. Abundant blessings!
