Faith To Understand Different

Blessings. To all, of us, who are different.

Ann - A Friend of Jesus 2013

Life lives, life dies. Life laughs, life cries. Life gives up and life tries. But life looks different through everyone’s eyes.
~ Unknown Author ~

Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
~Proverbs 4:23~

You can’t help a fool. Only God can change a heart.
~ Ann V. Friend ~

But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.
~Matthew 15:18~

Hello friends. (smile) Faith to understand different comes down to how we relate and communicate, to others and challenges, those things within our heart.

I give glory to God for the different way he leads me to share his word.

I love how the Book of Proverbs illustrates wise and foolish living.

Proverbs has wisdom for everyone on any topic.

It’s what comes out that shows the condition of a heart.

Celebrate Faith and God’s Amazing Grace

God never leads us where he cannot keep us. His grace is always sufficient for us in any and every circumstance of life.
~ Author Unknown ~

And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
~ 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 ~

My encouraging thought today sees criticism from a positive perspective.

The beautiful thing about creativity is there are no limits. It’s why I love creating acrostics. The power of words. (wink)

Life situations give both positive and negative experiences.

Either grow or remain stuck. Internalize or let go. The choice is ours.

My acrostic, on criticism, chooses to defeat negative thoughts that arise during constant criticism. Do it, by faith.

Make it a great day. (wink)

Removing negative thoughts one by one is a blessing.

The art of life is to know how to enjoy a little and to endure much.
~ William Hazlitt~

Hello friends. Hope all is well. My encouraging thought today is things and stuff, the Y moments, happen. None of us are immune.

During difficult times, comfort and solace can be found in the Book of Psalms.

Psalm 121 is one of my favorites.

Last year, I found comfort praying various Psalms.

To have faith and believe help comes from the Lord is powerful and sustaining until victory comes. Victory does come.

Motivation For Monday

Whether you think you can or think you can’t – you are right.
~Henry Ford~

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
~ Philippians 4:13 ~

Monday’s are tough for me. Ever need motivation on Monday’s, I sure do.

Motivation is different for everyone. Motivation becomes interesting when viewed from another perspective.

For me, the ten most powerful and motivating words are: I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Especially when negative thoughts remind of past Monday’s.

Motivation builds a better attitude when Monday’s come.

What motivates you? By faith, let’s have a great Monday. (wink)

A Positive Attitude

Our lives are not determined by what happens to us but by how we react to what happens, not by what life brings to us, but by the attitude we bring to life.

A positive attitude causes a chain reaction of positive thoughts, events, and outcomes. It is a catalyst, a spark that creates extraordinary results.
~ Anonymous ~

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
~ Philippians 4:8-9 ~

A positive attitude can do so much to defeat negativity.

A positive attitude is powerful when it becomes as natural as breathing.

Hashtag (#) Care Less

This post was originally published on 17 December 2014 and updated on 13 October 2018.

No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.

“Why can’t somebody give us a list of things that everybody thinks and nobody says, and another list of things that everybody says and nobody thinks?”
~ Oliver Wendell Holmes, Sr. ~

Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
~ 1 Peter 5:7 ~

Hello friends. (smile) It’s a beautiful thing to cast anything and everything to God. Hashtag care less. Praise The Lord.

My sound bite “roll with it” evolved to “hashtag care less”. (wink)

Ah, the ebbs and flows of challenges. The testing of patience and self control.

Things and stuff. Those X and Y angst moments. Let it go and hashtag care less.

Don’t internalize garbage. Hashtag care less.

Don’t participate in every silly conversation. Hashtag care less. No fear, have faith. Hashtag care less.

We can thank God for his mercy and grace even when we stumble.

We can be grateful that God will never leave us nor forsake us.

We are too blessed to be stressed. Put it at the foot of the cross!

Hashtag care less! (smile)

Surprise

Hello friends (smile)  I was surprised when I broke a crown (one next to front tooth) while eating a snickers bar in April.

My first implant process ever. Surprise. Dental work be done between two dentists. Surprise.

Long and expensive process. Surprise.

Four months ago, my dentist referred me to oral surgeon for an implant. Surprise.

Yesterday was supposed to be a routine last visit to the oral surgeon before my dentist does final impression and abutment for tooth. Surprise.

I had no idea, minor oral surgery was to be performed. Surprise.

It took many needles to numb my mouth. Surprise. I thought about the circus, when the little darlings start drilling for the nerve. (wink)

The dentist told me of each step he was doing. My insides start freaking out. It was too much information. I couldn’t speak to say please don’t tell me, please.

For a moment, I thought I would faint. Then out of no where, The Lord calmed my spirit and I focused on my trust and the faithfulness of God.

In that moment, the last morsel, of unresolved fear, of the dentist, left my body. Surprise. Thank you Lord.

Bottom line, he had to insert a temporary abutment and stitches.

Once home, I slept for hours. Surprise.

I apologize, in advance, for delayed responses to comments yesterday. (wink)

I shared this to reminder us, fear can keep us stuck with faulty information and memories from the past. Bottom line, fear does not come from God.

I get to work from home the next two days while area heals. Yay. Surprise.

Enjoy your day.

Abundant blessings, my friends, because the just shall live by faith. Praise The Lord.

As always, I welcome your thoughts. (smile)

Celebrate The Little Things Poem

Hello friends. (smile) Happy Friday! TGIF! Welcome Lexa and co-host, L.G. Keltner @Writing Off The Edge, to another week to celebrate the small things.

This week, I celebrate a new motivation to keep writing and do it daily. (wink)

Praise The Lord, I have courage to share another poem.

Celebrate the little things
Is a blessing in disguise
Not knowing what today may bring

Gives hope to recognize

Celebrate to keep the faith
No matter what we see
Believe enough to pray it

Whatever it may be

The it may be a person
The it may be a thing
Celebrate the little things

That faith in God can bring

Celebrate where we are
Celebrate where we’ve been
Celebrate where we’re going

Is daily faith and trust in God
Again and again and again

To celebrate the little things
Ones that touch the most
Are universally heartfelt

Know God and smile the most
Ann V. Friend Poem

Abundant blessings, my friends because the just does everything by faith. Praise The Lord. Enjoy your weekend!

IWSG Major Life Events

The great advantage of being in a rut is that when one is in a rut, one knows exactly where one is.
~ Arnold Bennett ~

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
~ Ecclesiastes 3:1 ~

Hello friends. (smile) Hope all is well. It’s the first Wednesday of the month where we share. Welcome Alex and October IWSG Co-Hosts:  Dolorah @ Book Lover, Christopher D. Votey, Tanya Miranda, andChemist Ken!

Major life events affect everyone differently.

IWSG Day Question: How do major life events affect your writing?

I shut down and walk away from writing. I choose not to write when my emotions are all over the place. Praise The Lord.

Certain emotions put me in a rut, which is why I love the Bennett quote. (smile)

Has writing ever helped you through something? Yes, once I cycled through my emotions, I write and share the experience.

Sometimes, sharing helps someone see a situation from a different perspective.

Abundant blessings, my friends, because the just does everything by faith.

Enjoy the rest of your week and will meet you back here next month. (wink)
