IWSG Major Life Events

The great advantage of being in a rut is that when one is in a rut, one knows exactly where one is.
~ Arnold Bennett ~

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
~ Ecclesiastes 3:1 ~

Hello friends. (smile) Hope all is well. It’s the first Wednesday of the month where we share. Welcome Alex and October IWSG Co-Hosts:  Dolorah @ Book Lover, Christopher D. Votey, Tanya Miranda, andChemist Ken!

Major life events affect everyone differently.

IWSG Day Question: How do major life events affect your writing?

I shut down and walk away from writing. I choose not to write when my emotions are all over the place. Praise The Lord.

Certain emotions put me in a rut, which is why I love the Bennett quote. (smile)

Has writing ever helped you through something? Yes, once I cycled through my emotions, I write and share the experience.

Sometimes, sharing helps someone see a situation from a different perspective.

Abundant blessings, my friends, because the just does everything by faith.

Enjoy the rest of your week and will meet you back here next month. (wink)

As always, I welcome your thoughts. (smile)

  1. Hey Ann !! I have cut back on writing myself… I write when the Holy Spirit urges me to write…because when I write without His help, it usually isn’t worth reading…

When we write with the Holy Spirit in total charge of our life, we are walking (and writing) in the Spirit…Galatians 5:16…

As a matter of fact…we should not step out of our house without putting on God’s Spiritual armor (Ephesians 6:10-20)… and without being filled with the Holy Spirit…Ephesians 5:18-20…

I would love to share this link with you and your readers on a commentary on walking in the Spirit, because following the suggestions in this post this will keep Satan’s temptations and our own evil flesh in check !!

    Blessings in Christ, bruce
