This week, I celebrate one another scriptures. One another. You and me, us and we with The Lord. Powerful and a beautiful thing to behold.

The power of sharing, especially those times, when we need it most. Praise The Lord.

Keep the faith (KTF) and enjoy your Friday.

Abundant blessings, my friends because the just shall live by faith. Praise The Lord. Enjoy your weekend!

As always, I welcome your thoughts. (smile)

Acrostic on Seasons

Seasons are more than just the weather. Moments in life can be a season. Some seasons can be harder than others. Seasons eventually pass. Have hope and keep the faith through any season.
~ Ann V Friend ~

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;

A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;

A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;

A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;

A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
~ Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 ~

Abundant blessings, my friends, because the just shall live by faith. Praise The Lord.

As always, I welcome your thoughts. (smile)

Acrostic on Self-Forgiveness

Self-forgiveness, seventy times seven, is important as forgiving others.  Self-forgiveness is empowering every single time we stumble and defeats those pesky coulda, woulda and shoulda thoughts from replaying.  Self-forgiveness is a choice.
~ Ann V. Friend ~

Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.
~ Matthew 18:21-22 ~

Hello friends. (smile) Sharing encouraging thoughts on self-forgiveness. I believe the power of self-forgiveness is liberating.

The ability to forgive period does not come naturally. It’s learned by various painful experiences. Praise The Lord, I’ve learned.

Going through unnecessary stress; dysfunctional relationships; toxic circus environments; object of bullies, manipulators and gossipers; betrayals; health issues; unresolved anger issues, were just a few challenges keeping me stuck until I learned forgiveness as a choice. Thank you Lord.

Forgive them seventy times seven. Huh? That’s when The Lord helped me learn to forgive myself as a choice.

Self-forgiveness can free those tormenting thoughts. So what, made a bad choice. So what, failed to see the signs by trusting them.

Sometimes, looking from a different perspective is a blessing.

Why be or stay negative. It’s quite draining.

Make it a great day.

Abundant blessings, my friends, because the just shall live by faith. Praise The Lord.

As always, I welcome your thoughts. (smile)

Celebrate The Power of Words

Sometimes, not saying anything is the best answer.  You see, silence can never be misquoted.
~ Unknown Author ~

The heart of the wise teacheth his mouth, and addeth learning to his lips. Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.
~ Proverbs 16:23-24 ~

Hello friends. (smile) Happy Friday! Welcome Lexa and co-host, L.G. Keltner @Writing Off The Edge, to another week to celebrate the small things.

This week, I celebrate the power of words.

Whether positive or negative, words have the power to build up or tear down.

Make it a great day.

Abundant blessings, my friends, because the just shall live by faith. Praise The Lord.

As always, I welcome your thoughts. (smile)

Something to Ponder – Love

We have to hurt in order to know. Fall in order to grow, lose in order to gain, because most of life’s lessons are taught through pain.
~ Unknown Author ~

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.  Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.  But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.  When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.  And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.
~ 1 Corinthians 13:1-13 ~

Abundant blessings, my friends, because the just shall live by faith. Praise The Lord.

Psalm 136 – For His Mercy Endureth Forever

For his mercy endureth for ever.

No need to worry that God will run out of love. His mercy flows from a well that never runs dry. Amen!

Honoring Soldiers on Veterans Day

Appreciate your service.

You and your family are always in my prayers.

God bless you for all that you do.

I would also like to honor ARNG Soldiers, no longer with us. I miss them.

Acrostic on Enough In Christ

The robbed that smiles, steals something from the thief.
~ William Shakespeare ~

A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth: and a word spoken in due season, how good is it!
~ Proverbs 15:23 ~

Hello friends. (smile) Today, my encouraging thought is you and me, we are enough in Christ. Praise The Lord.

The ABCs, in the acrostic, are just the first words that hit my spirit.

The things we tell ourself can make or break our day.

So smile and steal from the thief bringing negativity. I’m enough in Christ. (wink)

The point is knowing and believing who we are in Christ.

Abundant blessings, my friends, because the just shall live by faith. Praise The Lord.

As always, I welcome your thoughts. (smile)

Celebrate Faith

Even though they don’t have anything in common, doubt can be in a very big conflict with faith.
~ Unknown Author ~

That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
~1 Corinthians 2:5 ~

Hello friends. (smile) Wahoo, TGIF! Hope all is well in your world.

Welcome Lexa and co-host, L.G. Keltner @Writing Off The Edge, to another Friday, where we celebrate the small things.

Lexa, my prayers are with you. Hope you’re feeling better.

This week, I celebrate sharing encouraging thoughts on faith. Faith is a spiritual fruit of the spirit.

It’s a beautiful thing to have and live life by faith. Even faith, the size of a mustard seed is powerful.

Faith, aligned with the will of God, speak things into existence.

Faith that trust and believe, in the faithfulness, of God, is a lifeline in challenging times. I’m a witness.

Faith, to renew the mind, brings freedom from torment.

Faith to forgive, frees the mind to release and let go.

I wouldn’t be me without an acrostic (wink)

Faith to conquer fear, changes everything.

Faith is walking through the fiery furnace  (the circus) and coming out stronger. Praise The Lord.

Faith is knowing, current situations are temporary.

Faith is believing for that job, that mate, that child, that house, that healing, that book, that ____________( fill in the blank).

Faith is thanking God, while waiting on the manifestation.

Have faith and enjoy your day. (wink)

Abundant blessings, my friends, because the just shall live by faith. Praise The Lord.

As always, I welcome your thoughts. (smile)

Acrostic on The ABC’s of Faith

The greatest act of faith some days is to simply get up and face another day.
~ Amy Gatliff ~

For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, the just shall live by faith.
~ Romans 1:17 ~

Keep the faith and enjoy your day. (wink)

Abundant blessings, my friends, because the just shall live by faith. Praise The Lord.

IWSG Creativity

Whatever may be our natural talents, the art of writing is not acquired all at once.
~Jean-Jacques Rousseau ~

November 7 question – How has your creativity in life evolved since you began writing?

I’ve learned to embrace my own writing style. I’ve learned creative ways to use words, bible scriptures and my faith. Praise The Lord.

I’ve become a better writer. Still learning the work, write balance thing.

I must thank all the talented, creative and accomplished writers that I met since joining the group. (wink)

Thank you, your encouragement helped me embraced my abilities to keeping writing.

By faith, quitting is no longer an option.

Someday, there will be a masterpiece with my name on it. (wink)

I believe creativity promotes seeing from a different perspective.

Enjoy the rest of your week and see you back here next month. (wink)

Acrostic on Making A Difference

What you do every day matters more than what you do every once in a while.
~ Unknown Author ~

But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall also reap sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.  Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
~ 2 Corinthians 9:6-7 ~

Hello friends. (smile) Hope all is well. My thoughts on making a difference.

Sometimes, making a difference comes down to giving and acts of kindness.

Abundant blessings, my friends, because the just shall live by faith. Praise The Lord.

As always, I welcome your thoughts. (smile)

Acrostic on Peace of Mind

Inner peace begins the moment you choose not to allow another person or event to control your emotions.
~ Author Unknown ~

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
~ John 16:33 ~

Hello friends. (smile) Hope all is well. Sharing my thoughts on peace of mind. We always have a choice. Positive or Negative.

I work in a pressure cooker environment that I like to call the circus. It pays the bills and provides food to microwave. (wink)

Peace of mind is a blessing. Praise The Lord.

My faith and trust, in The Lord, provides peace of mind for the pressure cooker environment that pays my wages.

I thank God for the gift of encouragement and sharing my faith in creative ways.

I’m just a humble friend sharing life experiences from a different perspective.

Keep the faith and peace of mind to have a wonderful and blessed weekend.

Abundant blessings, my friends, because the just shall live by faith. Praise The Lord.

Maturity Begins

This post was originally published on August 2, 2013 and updated on 1 November 2018.

Maturity is not when we start speaking big things. It is when we start understanding small things.
~ Author Unknown ~

When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
~ 1 Corinthians 13:11~

Hello friends. (smile) Happy Thursday. (wink) The fruit of the spirit (love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance), within us, becomes evident as we grow and mature through good and bad life experiences.

Sharing my thoughts on maturity and spiritual fruit within us.

They will know us by our fruit. (wink)
20130801-211307.jpg
The words we speak, how we carry ourselves, tell our maturity level and the spiritual fruit within us.

Knowing who we are, in Christ, has nothing to prove. That’s maturity.

The ability to listen, agree to disagree, and bridle the tongue, is maturity.

Ain’t life grand (wink)

Abundant blessings, my friends, because the just shall live by faith. Praise The Lord.

As always, I welcome your thoughts. (smile)
