Celebrate The Power of Words

Sometimes, not saying anything is the best answer.  You see, silence can never be misquoted.

The heart of the wise teacheth his mouth, and addeth learning to his lips. Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.

Hello friends. (smile) Happy Friday! Welcome Lexa and co-host, L.G. Keltner @Writing Off The Edge, to another week to celebrate the small things.

This week, I celebrate the power of words.

Whether positive or negative, words have the power to build up or tear down.

Make it a great day.

Abundant blessings, my friends, because the just shall live by faith. Praise The Lord.

As always, I welcome your thoughts. (smile)

  1. I have always felt that we underestimate the power of words, particularly as we’re quick to say that actions speak louder. But as the use of technology is spreading and our action is looking at WORDS ON A SCREEN, perhaps it’s time we re-evaluate the value of a kind word in print.

    1. I agree with you Lauren! Words we tell ourselves and others has power to uplift or torment. If you add actions to the equation…the little poem resonated based on a challenging work environment. Where words used beat people down. Communication has definitely changed. I guess it comes down to perspective and yes words on a screen. I appreciate you stopping by and sharing your thoughts. Blessings and enjoy your weekend!
