I Get It

Life and love apart from God has conditions and will never fill the emptiness within us. Only God can fill the emptiness within us that promotes self acceptance with the ability to love ourself and others, embracing the rough sides too. That’s the reality of living.
~ Ann V Friend ~

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
~ Romans 8:28 ~

I love Romans 8:28 because it gives perspective to know that all things work together.

The ability to encourage ourselves through Y moments is powerful when we speak words that lift us up.

The acrostic, I get it, helped me remember the faithfulness, of God, that I’m never alone.

Praise The Lord.

Enjoy the last day of 2018. See you in the new year!

Acrostic I Get It scripture references:

I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.
~ Psalm 32:8 ~

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
~ Psalm 46:1 ~

Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
~ Jude 3 ~

O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.

Strength Deeply Rooted In Christ

Blessed is the man that trusted in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
~ Jeremiah 17:7-8 ~

The Oak Tree poem is powerful when we understand the source of our strength in Christ. Strength deeply rooted.

There are times, inspiration and encouragement comes when needed most.

It’s through the rough times, those difficult moments, to experience strength deeply rooted in Christ. As we grow spiritually, those roots grow deep.

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
~ Philippians 4:13 ~

It’s putting on the full armour of God, praying the Word, having faith and trust, in the Lord, to endure the mighty wind that blows.

Thank you, Lord, your loving faithfulness comforts and sustains us to be resilient through you. Strength deeply rooted.

Strength deeply rooted and resilient in Christ.  It’s learned experience to sustain the mighty wind that blows.

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.  I will say of the LORD, he is my refuge and my fortress:my God; in him will I trust.
~ Psalm 91:1-2 ~

My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
~ James 1:2-4 ~

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Resilient In Christ

Philippians 4:13, I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me, are ten powerful words, to be resilient, in Christ.

Resilient in Christ is faith and trust in him. It’s knowing his faithfulness to never leave nor forsake us. It’s knowing his mercy and grace through any situation.

More importantly, it’s knowing he loves us.

Resilient in Christ perseveres.

There is always a choice.

The Journey to Contentment

A contented heart is a calm sea in the midst of all storms.
~ Anonymous ~

Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
~ Philippians 4:11 ~

The journey to contentment is learned. Contentment is a mindset that develops with personal growth and maturity as we face life situations.

Contentment is a steady state, of well-being, for what we have and where we are today. Praise The Lord.

There’s no conditions to contentment. In whatsoever state, to be content.

To be content, in whatsoever state, is a beautiful thing because its temporary.

Life and/or circus situations teach or change something within us. It’s part of growing and maturing.

I’ve shared about the circus that pay my wages, until recently, I found contentment in that environment. Contentment comes from within. Praise The Lord.

Contentment While Waiting

This post was originally published on 2 January 2015 and updated on 6 December 2018.

Once we discover how to appreciate the timeless values in our daily experiences, we can enjoy the best things in life.
~ Harry Hepner ~

But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye were also careful, but ye lacked opportunity. Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.

I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
~ Philippians 4:10-12 ~

Hello everyone, hope all is well. I apologize, am experiencing WordPress challenges.

Contentment is a good habit to acquire. To be content while waiting is endurance. It’s even more powerful, to do, by faith.

A season, of anything, can be challenging. Waiting can be brutal. Here’s the beautiful thing, seasons are temporary and waiting builds patience.

That thing, that stuff or that Y is temporary. Until it serves its purpose, it will be around. Keep in mind, it will be different for everyone. Similar, yet different.

Have faith. Be content. Have patience. Have self-discipline. Part of the process.

The ability to find contentment comes when the focus is on God and the blessings that He provides.

The ability to find contentment comes when we realize it is, what it is. Adapt and adjust by casting your cares, to the Lord, can work wonders.

It’s liberating to free the mind from angst that amounts to nothing. Put “it” at the foot, of the cross and be content until we can walk through it. Keep the faith.

We may still fail a test moment; praise God for His mercy and His grace because at the end, of the day, we’re still standing!

This WordPress challenge is validation to be content while I figure out the issue. How about that.

Abundant blessings, my friends, as we acquire the habit of contentment, by faith, while waiting for our break through. Praise The Lord!

As always, I welcome your thoughts.

Faith Through Struggles

This post was originally published on 22 July 2015 and updated on 3 December 2018.

No matter how much it hurts now, someday you will look back and realize your struggles changed your life for the better.
~ Unknown Author ~

For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: through it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.
~ Habakkuk 2:3-4 ~

Hello friends. (smile) Hope all is well in your world.

My encouraging thought today is the just shall live by faith, even through struggles.

There are times, we must lighten up and remember the faithfulness of the Lord. Every struggle, He will walk us through. The just shall live by faith.

Faith through struggles teach and change something within that makes us better.

There will always be something or someone that _________. Keep walking and moving forward. The just shall live by faith.

When we focus on what we see, ugh, the mind wanders and we speak to what is seen. Thus, putting faith in the struggle.

Here’s the thing, have faith and believe in God. There is nothing too hard for Him.

Faith believes God is working in the background of the situation. The just shall live by faith.

God can put a vision within us with patience and faith to endure. It will come in his timing. The just shall live by faith.

Maybe today. Maybe tomorrow. Maybe next week. Get ready. The just shall live by faith.

So keep the faith and enjoy your day!

Abundant blessings, my friends because the just shall live by faith. Praise The Lord.

As always, I welcome your thoughts. (smile)
