IWSG Questions About Writing

Happy New Year everyone. Welcome Alex and January Co-hosts: Patricia Lynne, Lisa Buie-Collard, Kim Lajevardi, and Fundy Blue, to the Insecure Writer’s Support Group (IWSG), where we share and support all about writing.

OPTIONAL IWSG Day Question: What are your favorite and least favorite questions people ask you about your writing?

To be honest, I have no least or favorite questions asked about my writing. Keeps me neutral. (wink)

It’s the only way to keep my sanity and confidence as a writer.

It comes down to perspective, questions asked and answered are opinions.

Opinions can build up or tear down.

I had to learn opinions is information to accept or reject.

Make it a great IWSG day!

Abundant blessings, everyone, because the just shall live by faith. Praise The Lord.

As always, I welcome your thoughts.

  1. Ann,

Furtastic perspective on opinions! Often we don’t think about rejecting what others say. It’s important to realize that’s precisely the best way to handle words that tear a person down instead of lifting them up.

    Have a blessed day!

  2. I sometimes wonder, when people ask me questions about my writing, if they’re asking because they’re interested, or because they want someone to confirm what they suspect is true of everyone writing books these days. Maybe that’s a negative way of thinking about it, but it’s something in their manner. Okay, maybe I’m thinking of one specific person who put questions to me recently. 🙂 Happy IWSG Day!

    1. I understand Raimey, it’s why I stay neutral. it’s a matter of perspective for me. Hang in there. It was only their opinion. Accept or reject, my friend, then let it go. 😉Thanks for visiting and sharing! I appreciate it. Blessings!
