This blog is a place for anyone who wants to know more about the Word of God, developing a deeper and personal relationship with Jesus Christ or get encouragement.

I write from the spiritual fruit within me–love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance.   I give glory to God when I can share my ebbs and flows, and stumbling experiences by walking through with faith and trust in Him. Praise The Lord for His mercy and His grace.  (smile)

This is a place, you can always come for something positive and uplifting! We’ll leave the lights on for you!   There is no judging here. It’s about being able to get encouragement or a good scripture to apply to a particular challenge in life and see things from a different perspective.

Life can get tough for any of us. Along the right hand side of this website has our posts by topic. We pray, this layout will help and assist you with finding what you need for the things and stuff of life.

We pray that you are comfortable enough to free yourself to be who God created you to be. Men and women of all ages are welcome.

Acts 10:34 Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons.

When God does something for one, He can do the same for another.

This is also a place you can share your thoughts that may help someone.

You are always welcome to email me directly afriendofjesus2013@gmail.com with suggestions, prayer requests or encouragement.

There are lost and hurting people all around us; many search the internet looking for something. It is my faith that folks will come, read something they like and share.   Life is a process and we’re supposed to help and love one another other in spite of our differences.  Only God can validate our open and honest sincerity. We encourage you to ask Him!

John 13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

John 1-1:14 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

  6. I am new to WordPress, to blogging in general. This morning I cried because I had very little to no clue that there was a large society of Christians on the internet and already a few who would end up being my friend. I live in Las Vegas where it is very difficult to find good friends if not Christian friends, and I’m just so glad to find one blog after another that will help me in my walk. 🙂
