Celebrate The Mindset of Positivity

There is no danger of developing eyestrain from looking on the bright side of things.
~ Unknown Author ~

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
~ Philippians 4:8 ~

Hello friends. (smile) Welcome Lexa and co-hosts, L.G. Keltner @Writing Off The Edge and Tonja Drecker @Kidbits Blog, to another week to celebrate the small things.

Hope all is well and you’re keeping the faith. (smile) This week, I celebrate a new month and the mindset of positivity. Why be negative?

Thoughts are powerful. Patience is required. Self encouragement is a necessity.

July was dog barking rough for me. Been in a fiery furnace situation while going around the same mountain.  Bygones.

Praise The Lord, his presence provided strength that helped me walk and move forward because I was never alone.

I share these encouraging thoughts:

Perseverance to keep going
Optimistic with hope
Significance of faith and trust in The Lord
Inspirational scriptures
Thrive on the power of scriptures
Inspiring thoughts encourage
Versatility in ways to stay positive
Inner peace is a blessing
Thankful everyday
Yielding to defeat negative thoughts

There are times when silence is a blessing to listen.

Positive thoughts lead to positive communication.

Changing focus and perspective, about a situation, is wisdom to keep moving forward.

To God, be the glory.

Positivity is energy.  It attracts people. (wink)

Abundant blessings, my friends because the just does everything by faith. Praise The Lord. Enjoy your weekend!

As always, I welcome your thoughts. (smile)

Celebrate Bygones

The past cannot be changed. The future is yet in your power.
~ Unknown Author ~

Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
~ Isaiah 43:18-19 ~

Hello friends. (smile) Welcome Lexa and co-hosts, L.G. Keltner @Writing Off The Edge and Tonja Drecker @Kidbits Blog, to another week to celebrate the small things.

Hope all is well and you’re keeping the faith. (smile)  Praise The Lord, all is well in my world. Last week, not so much.  Bygones.

This week, I celebrate bygones. (wink) I just love the power of words and the various and unique ways to express them.

Bygones is like a mantra, for self-encouragement, to illustrate the ability to let go.   Remember casting our cares? Bygones.

Whether it’s yesterday, a year, a month, a day, a hour, it’s the past.  Bygones.

Things happen.   Bygones.   People leave.  Bygones.   Faith tested.  Bygones.

Bygones is that wilderness environment that changes a person.  Bygones teach.

Bygones is the ability to transition between seasons and the process of experience.  Bygones discover.

Disagreements. Challenges. Conflicts.  Bygones learn.

Perception. Contrast. Difference.  Bygones reflect.

Sometimes, speaking bygones out loud controls the tongue in a heated moment.  Bygones.

Bygones  releases yesterday as moved on with hope and faith for today.

Abundant blessings, my friends because the just does everything by faith. Praise The Lord. Enjoy your weekend!

As always, I welcome your thoughts. (smile)

Celebrate Walk Through Experience Poem

Hello friends. (smile) Welcome Lexa and co-hosts, L.G. Keltner @Writing Off The Edge and Tonja Drecker @Kidbits Blog, to another week to celebrate the small things.

Hope all is well and you’re keeping the faith. (wink)

Wahoo, this week, I celebrate finishing my third poem. It took me a year and a half to get the words and timing right.

I love poetry. It’s my hope and faith to write spiritual poetry soon.

Wahoo, something to do. (wink)

Walk Through Experience

As we live and get older
Its much easier to see
Faith and trust in Jesus Christ

Is the safest place to be

Most won’t understand this
That makes it very sad
To know Him is to say out loud

He loves and protects me well

The many things in life
Bring forth ebbs and flows
Faith to go the distance

A quitter will never know

Life can change in an instant
Regret is what we’ll have
All because a little doubt

Is all we ever had

Belief becomes important
Validated by what we speak
This is faith in action

That will always trump defeat

To know him is love
To trust him is wisdom
Anything else is a substitute

Left empty and wishing

I share this with a passion
Because I believe it’s true
Jesus Christ died on the cross

Because God loved me and you

Celebrate Roll With It

The robbed that smiles, steals something from the thief.
~ William Shakespeare ~

Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.  I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
~ Philippians 4:11-13 ~

Hello friends. (smile) Welcome Lexa and co-hosts, L.G. Keltner @Writing Off The Edge and Tonja Drecker @Kidbits Blog, to another week to celebrate the small things.

Hope all is well and you’re keeping the faith. (wink) This week, I celebrate a roll with it attitude that stole from the thief. Praise The Lord.

The thief is my metaphor for test and retesting moments.

There are times, retesting can be a pressure cooker.   Retesting, coupled with distractions, that just keep on coming.  Two days in a row, distractions became overwhelming and draining.

I kept praying and asked how long Lord?  My prayer wasn’t with specificity.  The testing of my faith had something to relearn. Ugh.

I lost my cool and ranted for twenty whole minutes. Yup, I felt better then apologized.  Thank God for mercy and grace.

I internalized rhetoric, and those whispering psst thoughts.  My flesh man took that rhetoric with the whispering psst and reacted while the spirit man waited for my focus to shift.  I relearned praise The Lord through it verses complaining through it.

When going through a retest, pray for the focus to remain on him and not the distraction or the retest.

A new day brought the remembrance to roll with it and let go because it is, what it is, whether abased or abound, contribute to ebbs and flows of a situation.  Roll with it.

To be content, everywhere and in all things steals from the thief.

It’s remembering to breathe calmly because I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.  Roll with it.

It’s remembering still standing because God equips daily.  Roll with it

It’s remembering being deeply rooted, when the mighty wind blows.  Roll with it.

It’s remembering that He’ll never leave nor forsake us.  Roll with it.

Words are powerful, everywhere and in all things, when the foundation, to be content, rest in Jesus Christ until victory comes because retesting never stops.

Abundant blessings, my friends, because the just does everything by faith. Enjoy your day and have a blessed weekend.

Praise The Lord.

As always, I welcome your thoughts. (smile)

Celebrate It’s A Good Day

There is no danger of developing eye strain from looking on the bright side of things.
~ Unknown Author ~

This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
~ Psalm 118:24

Hello friends. (smile) Welcome Lexa and co-hosts, L.G. Keltner @Writing Off The Edge and Tonja Drecker @Kidbits Blog, to another week to celebrate the small things.

Hope all is well and you’re keeping the faith. (wink) My thoughts are short and sweet.

This week, I celebrate and rejoice being ready for the long weekend.

Wahoo, something to do with an extra day to recover. (wink)     Praise The Lord.

It’s a good day to have a good day.

Seeing all that the blessings in life.

A glimpse of a brighter tomorrow.

Believe in the possibilities, for such a time, as this.

Doing it, by faith.

Abundant blessings, my friends, because the just does everything by faith. Enjoy your good day and long Memorial Day weekend.

Praise The Lord.

Celebrate Strength Deeply Rooted

I’m stronger because I had to be, smart because of my mistakes, happier because of the sadness I’ve known, and now wiser because I’ve learned.
~ Unknown Author ~

Blessed is the man that trusted in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
~ Jeremiah 17:7-8 ~

Hello friends. (smile) Welcome Lexa and co-hosts, L.G. Keltner @Writing Off The Edge and Tonja Drecker @Kidbits Blog, to another week to celebrate the small things.

Hope all is well and you’re keeping the faith. (wink)  Praise The Lord, I was able to post on time.  Wahoo.

This week, I celebrate strength deeply rooted. I love the Oak Tree Poem and today’s scripture.  Both helped me crawl through back-to-back seasons while praying round the clock.

The little things we share, build up, soften the rough edges, give a different perspective, show kindness, a virtual {{hug}} ______________________(fill in the blank), contribute to strength deeply rooted.

There are times, inspiration and encouragement comes when needed most.

It’s through the rough times, those fiery furnace moments, to learn and understand strength deeply rooted.

It’s putting on the full armour of God, praying the Word, having faith and trust in the Lord, to endure the mighty wind that blows.    Thank you, Lord, your loving faithfulness comforts and sustains.

Like unexpected challenges, in life, it’s a process to develop strength deeply rooted.  It’s experience to sustain the mighty wind that blows.

Abundant blessings, my friends, because the just does everything by faith. Enjoy your day and your weekend.

Praise The Lord.

As always, I welcome your thoughts. (smile)

Celebrate The Process of Balance

Life is for most of us a continuous process of getting used to things we hadn’t expected.
~ Unknown Author ~

Hello friends. (smile) Welcome Lexa and co-hosts, L.G. Keltner @Writing Off The Edge and Tonja Drecker @Kidbits Blog, to another week to celebrate the small things.

Hope all is well and you’re keeping the faith. (smile)

I believe to be content, everywhere and in all things, requires learning the process of balance.

People.  Situations.  Time.  The unexpected.   Moments that test faith.

Balance, to be content, is living through life moments.

Balance, to be content, can do all things through Christ.

Balance, to be content, sees a different perspective and counts the blessing.

Learning balance, to be content, is a process. It’s a process, did I mention, it’s a process. (wink)

Never stop learning the process of balance. Content is the reward.

Praise The Lord.

Abundant blessings, my friends because the just does everything by faith. Praise The Lord. Enjoy your weekend!

As always, I welcome your thoughts. (smile)
