Love is (Part 3)

Sometimes, we must show unconditional love to those around us because they need it most. God bless us, by faith, as we love one another, as God loves us. Let His will be done.

The profound Love Letter to the World shown below is quite awesome, in the way, it lets us see someone, from a different perspective, and gives a better understanding on how stuff became stuff.

We all have stuff. It takes courage to be honest about who we are and care less about what others think. People judge without having all the facts or knowing anything about us. We all have stuff. It takes courage to be honest about who we are and care less about what others think. People judge without having all the facts or knowing anything about us. (shock face) Here’s the thing, the words we use speak volumes about our spiritual maturity (milk or meat, flesh or spirit led), our values, level of integrity and the genuine love in our life. (smile) Come on now, let’s be real. How many times do we tell the positive stuff about someone verses the negative stuff? (smile)

This letter gives clarity to imagining what it might have been like. It’s loving and seeing someone as God loves and sees them. Hurting people can hurt people. Loving people can love people.

Love is God placing people, in our life, to love and help us when we don’t know we have issues. They love us anyway. In two words, it’s unconditional love!

Love is God working to make us emotionally whole and healthy for relationships. The past is the past, let us release it all to God and allow healing in those areas that we bandaid daily or polish our mask.

Recognize how much God loves us by the people He brings into our life to love us in spite of our stuff! It’s a beautiful thing to realize just how much God loves us by the people He puts in our life to love us and help us grow. Especially, when we are being unloveable. We can thank God that He does not bring people into our life with the same issues we struggle with!

Everyone wants to be loved and needed.

Love is 1 Corinthians 13:3-8 (NKJV) – 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing. 4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 8 Love never fails.

God bless us, by faith, as we adapt and love one another, and grow in Christ. Let thy will be done.

Love is (Part 2)

Continuing from Love is (Part 1), to truly love others, we must deal with our stuff first. (shock face) To love like Jesus requires being spirit led and spiritual fruit. Without them, love becomes conditional or non existent.

Just as change and growth is an individual thing; love is individual and begins with us. It gets back to life is a process of changes, as long as we crawl, walk or run on this earth. (smile) Love is a choice. Bottom line, God loves us in spite of our stuff. He may not like things we do but at no time does He withhold His love or stop loving us. This is our goal too. To love in spite of what someone does. Can we get a witness? (wink)

As we grow and mature, we deal with our stuff, and we’re able to love ourself, flaws and all. Psst, nobody is perfect except Jesus. So speak to that perfection lie. Loving ourself opens us up to love others. God will put people and things in our life to help us grow. (smile)

God know what it takes to bring us to our knees. (shock face) Dealing with our stuff can be painful. We can thank God for his mercy and his grace. We can thank God for prayer. We can thank God for faith. The more we choose to let the Holy Spirit work in us, love starts to flow. (smile) Praise The Lord!

Spiritual fruit in us–love (giving), joy (gladness), peace (free from worry and fear), long suffering (patience), gentleness (kindness), goodness (generosity), faith (dependability), meekness (gentleness) and temperance (self-control) allows love to flow and draw people to us because light shines from within. (smile) It’s a beautiful thing to love others by showing kindness and compassion. God gets the glory!

Growing in love does not happen overnight. It’s a lifelong process that only God knows when we are ready and complete. He will keep pruning and removing anything keeping our fruit from growing. (nervous smile) Ain’t life grand! (wink)

To love our neighbor as we love ourself requires spiritual fruit and maturity. (shock face) Remember, God is love and there is no darkness in Him. Let’s not forget, God created us different. We may be similar but we are different. How we express or show love maybe different until we learn unconditional love. Sometimes, we harp and complaint because someone does not love us as we think we need to be loved.

Here’s the thing, only God through His Son, Jesus can meet all our needs. No human can give us what we lack within except Jesus. As we grow, whatever is missing within develops. Love is action. Love is giving and forgiving. Love keeps on loving until God changes that someones heart. Love is adapting and adjusting. Love can’t be forced. Love never fails.

Ann - A Friend of Jesus 2013

Love is a commandment. Mark 12:30-31 says “And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. 31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these”.

We love God . We love thy neighbor as thy self . Whoops a 🚩 on the play–some of us don’t like ourselves 😰 which hinders love. We have listened and told ourselves, so many things, that we want this or need that to ______________. Some of us are looking for love in all the wrong places (another song to add to our repertoire) 😜 when all we need is Jesus. This is where the rubber meets the road for us and our choices…

Some of us are looking for love in all the wrong places (another song to add to our repertoire) 😜 when all we need is Jesus. This is where the rubber meets the road for us and our choices. We sometimes forget, once upon a time, we didn’t know love. Sow love and God will water.

God loves us! Until we love ourselves, it can be quite difficult for those who love us. Thank God for the power of prayer🙏 and the leading of the Holy Spirit–for those of us in relationships where one expresses love so different that we feel compelled to pray more, hang in there, God is in charge and will give us grace to love as he loves and keep moving forward.

To be continued….

Ezekiel 36:26 – A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

Mark 12:30-31 – And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. 31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

Romans 5:1-5 – Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: 2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; 4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope: 5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

1 Corinthians 13:3-13 (NKJV) – 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away. 11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 12 For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known. 13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
