Celebrate Encouragement to One Another

Surround yourself with the dreamers and the doers, the believers and the thinkers. But most of all, surround yourself with those who see the greatness within you, even when you don’t see it yourself.~ Author Unknown ~

Hello friends. (smile) Welcome Lexa and co-hosts as we celebrate the small things this week. Encouragement to ourself and one another.

I celebrate posting two days in a row, a few victories at the circus and encouragement to write more. (wink)

Wahoo, praise The Lord.

Encouragement, to ourself and others, is powerful when we crawl or walk through challenges.

Encouragement opens up opportunities to be better, know better and do better. What a blessing to sow and reap encouragement. (smile) For our reading pleasure, scriptures with one another:

Recognize God’s Grace

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
~ Romans 8:28 ~

Hello friends. (smile) This week, so far, has been eye opening and hectic. Have no worries, all is well, in my world. I hope, all is well in your world. (smile)

Many times, things happen and we forget to recognize God’s grace. We start asking why.

We forget how He can work all things out. Praise The Lord!

Monday, I got my first ticket. I ran a red light! (shock face)

I noticed a small gash on my right rear tire. I know nothing about cars except to gas them up, use the air conditioner and listen to music as I drive. (wink) I entertained one negative thought. (nervous smile) What if the tire blows on the way home? Those pesky thoughts, we entertain makes us loose focus and faith. Where was my faith?

As I was driving, very nervous not to slam on the breaks as the light was changing yellow, I kept going, right through the red light. (shock face)

Thank God, no other cars were around me, except the cop behind me! (shock face) The look of horror, on my face, when he flashed the lights for me to pull over.

Believe me, I was stunned but calm with faith that God was in charge. Lights still flashing, I felt like a criminal as cars slowed to watch the festivities. (smile) It seemed forever for him to run my license and registration.

I stayed calm and polite. As I sat in my vehicle, I looked up and told The Lord, ok, I’m going to just roll with this because you are in charge.

I became numb to the reality, that yup, stuff happens. I had no reference point of experience, to help me, I’ve never been stopped before. So I spoke Romans 8:28 and said Thank you Lord. Just get me home.

Little did I know, the blessing of that ticket.

After the ticket was handed to me, He said, it was a warning and told me to read the back for instructions and get the tire fixed because it could blow. After the officer drove off, I still sat there stunned until I finally ventured home.

This morning, I go to leave and see that the tire has lost some air. Ugh! I’ll cut to the chase, I had to get four new tires because each were dry rotted! The back rear tire was not the worst one! (shock face)

Anyone of those tires could have blown.

I thanked God for keeping me safe! Here’s the blessing–that ticket brought to life the fact that my tires were bad! If I didn’t get that ticket….

God opened my eyes to that afterward. I’m still thanking and praising God for his protection and grace. (smile)

Sometimes, we don’t recognize the power of God’s grace when walking through challenges.

Blessings, my friends, as we recognize God’s grace in all things. (smile)

Hold On

Keep the faith and hold on! (smile) Things are looking up. Sometimes, out of no where, I just sing. I’m talking loud and joyful singing. (smile) The kind of singing that make you forget your challenges, the end of the week, and just enjoy the music and the song.

I experienced this on the way home today. I felt deep within my spirit to write hold on the blessing is around the corner for someone. (smile)

Be blessed, my friends, I pray it’s you. (smile)
