Have A Beautiful Friday

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
~ Romans 8:28 ~

Hello friends. (smile) Be blessed and keep the faith, as we mediate on Romans 8:28.

Laughter

Its true that laughter really is cheap medicine. It’s a prescription anyone can afford. And best of all, you can fill it right now.
~ Unknown Author ~

Hello friends. (smile) It’s a beautiful thing to smile and enjoy a deep down in your belly laugh. (smile)

Laughter, sometimes, reminds us to lighten up! Enjoy life. Have fun. Roll with it. (cheesy smile)

Yes, it can be hard to laugh, when we’re going through things and stuff or Y is working that last nerve. (shock face)

Ever notice, how God can send someone to bring a smile or tell us something to make us laugh, before the flesh man makes an appearance? Many days, I’ve thanked Him for his timing and His grace. (smile)

I laughed so hard the first time I saw the phase “Not my Circus, not my monkeys.” I see this as a reminder to mind our own business. (shock face) Pray, let go and let God.

I’ve learned that people ask when they want input! Free will to choose.

A Prayer for You

Hello friends (smile) God bless you for your kind and encouraging words. (cheesy smile)

Let us walk, by faith, knowing that we can give all of our things and stuff to God! Talking and complaining, to everybody, won’t change anything–just gets us worked up or fired up. (shock face)

Let it go! Put it at the foot of the cross! Continue to pray! Remember to thank God for his mercy and his grace!

20130929-194444.jpg
By faith, choose to remain spiritual. Keep speaking His word! By faith, choose to keep moving forward. Refuse to remain stuck. Here’s the thing, God loves us unconditionally; there are no strings to his love. We stumble, He will still love us. His love never fails. He will never leave nor forsake us. All else is irrelevant. Praise The Lord! (smile)

God bless us, by faith, as You walk us through things and stuff and we meditate on Romans 8:28 – And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose and Philippians 4:13 – I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me. Let thy will be done.

Feel free to share your thoughts or comments. (smile) We’re not shy here. (wink and a smile)

Faith Builds Courage

Money can’t buy happiness, but it’s a lot more comfortable to cry in a Mercedes than on a bicycle. ~ Author Unknown ~

Hello friends (smile) The quote above had me laughing for days. (grin) Yesterday, my thoughts were blank and I had the courage to share that fact. (smile) I’m still in a silly mood and it feels wonderful! (smile) Roll with it!

Faith builds courage to step outside of our comfort zone. Faith builds courage to trust God when things fall apart. Faith builds courage to be real about feelings, thoughts, life.

There are days that blogging overwhelms me. (shock face) How about you, ever feel overwhelmed about blogging or anything? Many times, I believe we become overwhelmed when we forget to do what we can or lose our sense of humor to roll with it. Whatever it is! (smile)

20140604-210134-75694720.jpg
I’ve shared that I am trying to balance better. Well, it’s on my list. (smile) I can be the queen of procrastination in my personal life! (shock face)

I love the fact that I’m comfortable doing my own thing whenever. (smile) Somedays, I have nothing to say. Even when all is right in my world. Praise The Lord. (smile)

I figured out the pressure I put myself under because I’m still willy nilly in self discipline. Ugh. I have faith that someday, it will fall into place.

Until then, I am content with rolling with it and playing Words With Friends! (smile) Username is Ann Friend, for those who like to play! Game on. (smile)

I have found, no matter what we do, there are critics and naysayers! (shock face) God bless them. Have courage, to do, what you do, in spite of what they may say. (smile)

Have courage to get past the negatives. Have courage to keep the faith and be different. Have courage to recognize, what you bring to the table that helps someone. (smile)

Write what’s in your heart or what’s on your mind. There is a chance, if you like it, have faith that we’ll like it. (wink and a smile)

Another fun fact, sometimes, I overwhelmed myself that words won’t flow. The last few days, I’ve felt a joy of release. I talking, the release of laughter and being a little silly. (shock face)

It’s done wonders for the flow of words from the mind to the page, except yesterday. (grin)

Courage comes when you do whatever moves you forward by faith. (cheesy smile)

Thanks and God bless you for your continued support of my blog. {{hugs}}

Smile and have a blessed day! (cheesy smile) Your thoughts are always welcome. (smile)

Two Cents Tuesday Challenge: “Silly”

Every survival kit should include a sense of humor.
~ Author Unknown ~

Hello friends (smile) We could really have fun talking about silly. The lighter side of silly. The positive side of silly.

Silly things. Silly people. Silly me!

Silly with regards to our own sense of humor. (smile) We need a sense of humor or things in life will not be balanced. (smile)

Sometimes, silly can make us laugh. Sometimes, silly can work our last nerve. (shock face)

20140603-183528-66928526.jpg
Today, silly thoughts kept me smiling in my own little mind. (cheesy grin) I’ve learned to lighten up, even if I need to have a silly thought every now and then. (smile)

It’s unfortunate when others can’t or won’t recognize that we are all different. We talk and express ourself differently. (smile) Ah, a topic for another time, silly me. (smile)

I am learning some folks are just not happy with anything and are no nonsense types. God bless them!

Somedays, to be a little silly can be a blessing, at the end, of the day, because we walked through and laughed along the way. (cheesy smile)

Blessings and enjoy your evening! (smile)

Recognize

And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.
~ Matthew 8:26 ~

Hello friends (smile) What a beautiful and specific way to express gratitude, by faith, as we walk through, things and stuff and X, Y and Z, challenges without fear. (smile)

Faith, in God, builds each time, we recognize His answers to our prayers.

It’s how we recognize that each valley (things and stuff, and X, Y and Z) eventually brings victory (blessings) over the mountain (challenges). Praise The Lord! (smile)

20140528-050954-18594667.jpg
It’s how we recognize our growth. It’s how we recognize the power of words that we speak into existence.

It’s how we recognize Romans 8:28, And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

It’s how we recognize to roll with it, because it is, what it is. (smile)

Today, have faith, to thank God, for the valleys to recognize the blessings of the mountains! Amen.

Nurture

Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another. ~ Romans 14:19 ~

Hello friends (smile) What a beautiful quote below. A positive perspective on Nurture.

Nurture, like love, kindness and peace, must begin within us first, to be able to give and do for others. When we’re balanced, things and stuff, roll off, like water off a duck. (smile)

20140518-234548-85548575.jpg
We able to keep a peaceful mind set. We able to keep our sense of humor. We able to smile because we can.

Words, we speak have such power to overcome anything. There are times, we may become overwhelmed, we need to have faith that when we unplug from busyness, life will goes on. We come back stronger and refreshed. (smile)

Some moments require stillness to get our bearings, even the need to break the day into increments. Trust me, it’s been my survival mechanism for the past few weeks. (smile)

I believe God puts certain X, Y and Z’s, in our life, to help us grow. (shock face) Ever wonder why we pray and bless our enemies. ( shock face)

Nurturing, like kindness, is a blessing to ourself and those we nurture in moving to the next step in our life. We always remember kindness. (smile)

Blessings, my friends, by faith, as we nurture ourself and those around us today! (smile) As always, feel free to share your thoughts. (smile)

Roll With It Friday

Hebrews 4:16 – Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Wahoo, Happy Friday, my friends. (smile)

I encourage you to boldly walk through today, by faith, knowing that God has equipped us with everything we need. (smile)

20140320-232721.jpg

Sometimes, a positive focus makes the day go by quicker.

Sometimes, roll with it will help put things into perspective! It’s an attitude of gratitude. (smile) Praise The Lord.

Sometimes, keeping our sense of humor helps keep our attitude in check. Sometimes, practicing the pause will work wonders for x, y and z around us! (wink and a smile)

Smile more, it disarms folks and makes them wonder. (cheesy smile)

Be content until God changes where we are.

So roll with it and be blessed as you enjoy your day. (smile) Your comments are always welcome. (smile)

Things About Me

Things about me. I love reading, music and playing games on my IPHONE. (smile) God blessed me with the gift of encouragement, ways to sow His Word, a sense of humor and a beautiful smile. (cheesy smile)

I’m an introvert by preference. (shock face) I’ve learned to adapt and adjust in situations and through the storms of life, it’s how “roll with it” and “let it go” became sound bites for me. The joy of The Lord is my strength. (smile)

20140303-173459.jpg
Like many others out there, I’ve had a difficult season to walk through. I was never alone. I love how my Lord and Saviour protects and takes care of me. (smile) I pray a lot. I pray for each of you. (smile)

I thank God for the courage to write and be different. There will always be someone who needs a kind word or courage to be their self.

I am grateful for the awesome people I’ve met through blogging. I am humbled by your words of encouragement back to me. (smile) God bless you!

I love blogging and writing, for the different writing forums, because it’s a way to sow encouragement and hope to someone who may or may not know they are not alone or the next step. I am a humble and nice person who tries to visit and support many different bloggers. (smile)

I blog from my own personal experiences in hope that someone finds comfort and gets to know God, through His Son, Jesus, like I know Him. (smile)

I sow and God waters. I’m an open vessel about my Father’s business. ( smile) I hope this gives you more insight into Ann Friend.

Be blessed! (smile) As always, your thoughts are welcome.

Remind Yourself

Philippians 4:8 – Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

The things we think and fret over can become overwhelming. Positive thoughts encourage hope. Positive thoughts can replay memories of happier times. Positive thoughts help to promote a healthy state of mind. (smile)

It comes down to habits and choices. We are either pessimistic or optimistic in our perceptions of ourself, others, life and things and stuff. (shock face)

Depending on what we speak, draws that element to us throughout our day, week, month, year.

It takes courage to change and not allow peer pressure or other opinions to keep us stuck. It takes courage to out grow bad habits. (smile)

20140225-011738.jpg
A changed mind changes thoughts. Changed thoughts change perception. Sometimes, we have to talk positive, by faith, until it becomes a habit. Why entertain anything else. It’s draining! Sometimes, just listening without the need to speak is wisdom! Thank you Lord!

So when x, y, or z comes along, bringing drama or negative stuff, think differently before speaking it into agreement, by faith. (smile)

It been a tough six months for me. I started paying attention to what was spoken and what I kept agreeing too, all because my focus was on the challenges, the things and stuff. (shock face) I kept casting it to The Lord and praying. Then someone would ask about it, instead of speaking positive, I spoke against what I was praying. How about you, ever spoken against what you were praying?

Ugh, the lessons in life, will keep coming until we work through the thing. (gritted teeth smile)

We’re all working through something. Sometimes, we engage in conversations that add to our challenges, instead of making them better. The safest person to tell our troubles is God.

Thank God, when He brings someone along with a good word or an answer to our prayer when we need it! This is where He strengthens our faith in Him. (smile)

The fear of The Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Any other fear is not of God.

Be blessed and enjoy your day! As always, your thoughts are welcome. (smile)

Encouragement

Romans 14:19 – Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.

Everyone is dealing with something. Encouragement gives us strength to endure. Encouragement lets us know, we’re not alone. Encouragement is about believing we can get that promotion; we can relocate and start over; we don’t have to settle for less than God’s best; or fill in the blank________________.

20140217-025139.jpg
Encouragement is making an effort to help someone see their struggle is temporary. Encouragement is keeping peace in unkind situations. They are challenges all around us, I’ve learned that we can only control ourself. Breathe, remain calm and listen. We don’t have to participate in angry ranting and raving.

It’s takes two. Most times, people just need to vent, so be a pair of ears that listen. This would be encouragement by presence, no words needed. (smile)

Encouragement is rare these days. When did we stop talking and encouraging one another? These days, it appears, it’s about what we don’t do or what we don’t have. (shock face)

The possibilities are endless to what encouragement can do for each and everyone of us. (smile)

Thoughts and comments are welcomed. (smile)

Be blessed, encouraged and enjoy your day! (smile)

Bible Summary, The Gospels

For your reading pleasure, a summary of The Gospels.

20131207-222346.jpg

Matthew: Matthew’s Gospel provides the vital link between the Old and New Testaments. Matthew begins by tracing the genealogy of Jesus through Joseph; the birth of Jesus to the Virgin Mary; the baptism of Jesus by John the Baptist; and Satan’s temptation of Jesus while in the wilderness. Jesus speaks more in Matthew than in the other Gospels, and his teachings discourses include: the Sermon on the Mount (chapters 5-7); sending out the Twelve (chapter 10); parables of the kingdom (chapter 13); fellowship of the kingdom (chapter 18); and the Olivet Discourse concerning the future (chapters 24-25). During Jesus’ final week his betrayal, trial, crucifixion, burial and resurrection take place. Matthew concludes with the call of the Great Commission to all believers.

Key Words: “fulfillment”; Kingdom of Heaven”. Matthew quotes from many books of the Old Testament to solidify further the claim that indeed Jesus is the “fulfillment” of the promised Messiah, the Savior of the world. The term “kingdom of heaven” is used repeatedly by Matthew to introduce the Good News that God is present in Jesus Christ and lives to reign in men’s lives. This term appears nowhere else in the New Testament.

Themes: Jesus came to save both the Jews and the Gentiles. There is one true God, but with the essence of 3, the Trinity: God the Father; God the Son; and God the Holy Spirit. The standards of God are high, but the example He gave us is perfect…Jesus. Christ is sufficient for whatever need we might have. The ways of God are infinitely higher than the ways of the world. Jesus willingly laid own His life to redeem a sinful world with His perfect and acceptable sacrifice.

Outline:
Jesus’ birth and infancy 1:1 – 2:23
The preparation and beginnings of Jesus’ ministry 3:1 – 4:25
The Sermon on the Mount 5:1 – 7:29
Jesus’ ministry of miracles 8:1 – 9:34
Jesus’ sending out the Twelve 9:35 – 11:1
The continuation of Jesus’ ministry with claims and parables 11:2 – 25:46
Jesus’ betrayal and crucifixion 26:1 – 27:56
Jesus’ burial, resurrection and ascension 27:57 – 28:20

Mark: The Gospel according to Mark vividly portrays Jesus teachings, healing and ministering to the needs of others. Jesus is the perfect example and the perfect sacrifice for people of all time. His public ministry includes exhibits of his divine power over disease, nature, demons and even death. These miracles also reveal Jesus’ compassion for a hurting world. However, opposition and hostility grow against Jesus from the chief priests, Pharisees and Sadducees. Finally, Jesus willingly allows his arrest and crucifixion to take place. But his resurrection seals the ultimate victory for all who trusts Him to save them.

Key Words: “servant”; “immediately”. The ministry of Jesus Christ centers around His being a “servant” to all, giving His life as a ransom for many. Mark’s Gospel uses the term “immediately” many times to emphasize the importance and urgency of believing in God’s Son now!

Themes: Jesus is concerned about every aspect of our lives. Jesus’ actions paralleled His words, and so must our if we hope to be a positive witness unto Him. Jesus’ death on the cross paid the price for each of our sins if we will but turn to him with a repentant heart and trust Him as Savior. There is none so down and out that he can ever be beyond the extending arms of God’s love. Even as Jesus came to serve us, so must we also serve others.

Outline:
The beginning of Jesus Christ’s ministry 1:1 – 1:13
Jesus’ ministry of healing and teaching 1:14 – 8:26
Jesus’ instruction of his disciples 8:27 – 13:37
Jesus’ betrayal, trial, and crucifixion 14:1 – 15:41
Jesus’ burial and resurrection 15:42 – 16:20

Luke: Luke begins by telling us about Jesus’ parents; the birth of His cousin, John the Baptist; Mary and Joseph’s journey tomBethlehem, where Jesus is born in a manager; and the genealogy of Jesus through Joseph. Jesus’ public ministry reveals His perfect compassion and forgiveness through the Good Samaritan (chapter 10); the lost (prodigal) son (chapter 15); and the rich man and Lazarus (chapter 16). While many believe in Jesus’ unprejudiced love that surpasses all human limits, many other challenge and oppose His claims. Jesus’ followers are encouraged to count the cost of discipleship, while His enemies seek His death on the cross. Finally, Jesus is betrayed, tried, sentenced and crucified. But the grave cannot hold Him. His resurrection assures the continuation of His ministry to seek and save the lost (chapter 19:10). After appearing on a number of occasions to His disciples, His Holy Spirit is promised, and Christ ascends to the Father.

Key Words: “Jesus”; “Son of Man”. As God incarnate, “Jesus” is often referred as the “Son of Man”. The genealogy of Jesus through Joseph is detailed, as are many other specifics of His human characteristics and life.

Themes: Jesus understands our weaknesses, our temptations and our trials. Jesus came to save both the Jews and the Gentiles. Jesus came to save both the outcasts and the accepted. Jesus came to save both the poor and the rich. Jesus came to save both adults and children. Jesus came to save both men and women. Jesus came to save both the free and the oppressed. Jesus came to save each and every one of us!

Outline:
Introduction 1:1 – 1:4
The birth and childhood of John the Baptist and of Jesus 1:5 – 2:52
The ministry of John the Baptist 3:1 – 3:20
Jesus’ baptism, genealogy and temptation 3:21 – 4:13
Jesus’ teachings and healing ministry 4:14 – 9:50
Jesus’ journeys from Galilee to Jerusalem 9:51 – 19:27
Jesus’ suffering and crucifixion 19:28 – 23:49
Jesus’ burial, resurrection and ascension 23:50 – 24:53

John: While Luke presents Jesus as the “Son of Man,” John presents Jesus in His deity as the “Son of God.” Jesus’ relationship to the Father is emphasized as he teaches, heals, prays and ministers. Miracles listed in John include: turning water to wine (2:1-11), feeding of the 5,000 (6:1-14), walking on water (6:16-21) and the raising of Lazarus (11:1-46). But in addition to being totally God, Jesus’ humanity is shown by his being tired, hungry, thirsty and sorrowful. 7 times Jesus refers to Himself in “I Am” passages which clearly shown His claim to Godhood and the way to salvation. After Jesus’ death and resurrection, great detail is given to appearances of The Lord before His ascension.

Keys Words: “Word”; “life”; “believe”. Jesus is the pre-existent eternal “Word” who became a man. In order to gain eternal “life” one must “believe” upon the name of Jesus. Jesus, who always was with God and indeed is God.

Themes: God loves each of us so much that He gave up His Son so that anyone believing in Jesus shall not perish but shall have eternal life (chapter 3:16). Miracles are given not only to heal, but also as signs pointing to Jesus. God expects us to love not only him, but also our neighbors . Christ fully understands our hurts, He paid the supreme price to heal them. The Holy Spirit gives us an eternal peace which the world cannot manufacture or purchase.

Outline:
The incarnation of the Son of God 1:1 – 1:14
The introduction and public ministry of Jesus 1:15 – 5:15
Opposition to Jesus’ ministry 5:16 – 12:50

God bless you!

Something to Ponder 3

Those pesky thoughts. Romans 12:2 tells us “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

By faith, let us replace thoughts that keep us stuck! Replacing one thought at a time work will result in victory and a renewed mind! Praise The Lord.

20131204-185233.jpg

God bless us, by faith today, as we meditate on Philippians 4:8 – Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

IWSG Do Your Thing

20131203-225714.jpg

Happy Wednesday my friends 😜 I was blessed to combine both the IWSG and Roll with it Wednesday into one post. Wahoo, hallelujah! Praise The Lord.

The encouragement for us today, besides our faith, is to do our thing and roll with it. 😜 Like everything else, our thing starts with us. Believing in ourself is key to allowing our thing to evolve. Being able to lighten up and laugh is good for the heart, roll with it. 😉

Philippians 4:13 says “I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me.” Do our thing!

20131203-220547.jpg

Here’s a fun fact, courage goes with doing our thing. Roll with it. 😁 If we like it, and are strong in our belief about ourself, someone will love it! Roll with it.

Another fun fact, I got a new passion last week. I am reading about poetry. By faith, I will add poetry to my thing. 😜 So a heartfelt thank you, to all my poetry writing friends, your words inspired me. 😀

It always amazes me what words on a page can do for someone. Think about it, everyone of us brings something to the table. Everyday, someone comes looking for something to help them, let’s do our thing. It may help someone, somewhere. 😊

Have the courage, to step out, on faith, that this is the day, we choose to smile and do our thing! Think it with me, roll with it! Right! 😜

We will never please everybody and until we renew our mind and find a new song, there will always be that voice that likes to remind us, of our things and stuff, by playing the same old song that goes something like this– well, remember the last time or you can’t do that, and how about (fill in the blank) ________________. Sometimes, we are our own worse critic. 😰

Well today, let’s silence the negativity or criticism and sing a new song with lyrics of I can, by faith and roll with it. 😉

Life is too precious to be stuck, on the side line, thinking “maybe someday.” Do our thing, by faith and roll with it.

Have a blessed day my friends! 😀 Roll with it!

Something to Ponder 2

Ugh, it’s Monday! 😁

20131201-213833.jpg

At the moment, I’m trying to forget that it’s Monday! 😜 How about you? What are you trying to forget? 😰

I’m going to have faith that regardless of things and stuff today, I am standing and will meditate on Romans 8:28, And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

And if I must, I’ll smile, sing a song and roll with it! 😜 You’re welcome to join me. LOL

Have a blessed day, my friends! 😀

Two Cents Tuesday Challenge: “Writing”

20131125-201050.jpg
Remember back in the day, when we wrote notes or letters and mailed them? Remember keeping a diary or journal, where you wrote every thought, feeling? We wrote about our joys, heartbreak, things and stuff! Ah, those were the days.  (wink)

20131125-201347.jpg

In the 21st century, we write letters–the email kind. Short hand text kind. Sometimes, I wonder just where would we be without today’s technology? Although, I do like having a portable way to jot my thoughts down on my phone!  (shock face)

Can you remember the last time, you actually penned a personal letter and mailed it?  (smile)

I love to write. Somewhere in a box, I have cards, notes and old letters that span over many years of things and stuff. Its been awhile, since I walked down memory lane with those timeless treasures and experiences. How about you? When was the last time, you walked down memory lane? Inquiring minds wanna know.  (wink)

We all have a story. No one can write it better then us.  (smile)

God bless you and have a great day!

Boundaries To Let Go

As we mature, there comes a time when we need boundaries, to know when, to let go and love from a distance. Adapting and adjusting to trials and tribulation, and things and/or stuff requires being spirit led with fruit of the spirit as mentioned in Galatians 5:22-23.

Possessing love (giving), joy (gladness), peace (free from worry and fear), long suffering (patience), gentleness (kindness), goodness (generosity), faith (dependability), meekness (gentleness) and temperance (self-control) within us helps with trials and tribulations, and things and/or stuff.
20131124-211415.jpg

Trials and tribulations, things and/or stuff happens. The test is how we react to it. There will always be something or someone testing us. It’s all part of life, change and growth. Many times, we forget to breathe and focus to stay spiritually calm.  (wink)   The flesh man rises.

Flesh man rising is where a warning should register but nope, we proceed anyway. Sometimes, we forget that we can choose to let stuff go. Too many distractions, coupled with hunger, tiredness, etc, fuels the challenging moment. We’re human and we all have a breaking point.

Again, thank God for his mercy and grace! None of us are immune from stumbling! (shock face)   It’s all part of growing, maturing and producing more fruit within us.

Learning to let go frees us from thinking we have to do everything.  We don’t!

Learning to let go means putting it at the foot of the cross.  Let God!

Learning to let go keeps us with God’s peace. God is always in charge, regardless of what we see! Again, we must walk by faith trusting Romans 8-28, And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. (smile)

God bless us, by faith, as we let go of unnecessary stuff blocking our spiritual growth. Let thy will be done.

Courage

It takes courage to be who we are and do what we do. Keep the faith and be encouraged to continue being you! 😜 The more comfortable we are with ourselves, our courage grows and gets stronger! 😀

20131123-233954.jpg

Let’s face it, there will always be different spirits around us. Have the courage to be the light in the darkness! Dark spirits run from the light!

We get to choose how to respond to spirits around us. Every opportunity is a chance, by faith, to show our kindness and loving nature. Faith it, until we make it!

Thank God for his mercy and grace!

Scriptures about courage:
Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

Joshua 1:9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

Psalm 27:14 Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.

Psalm 31:24 Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord.

Isaiah 41:6 They helped every one his neighbor; and every one said to his brother, Be of good courage.

Examples of courage in the Bible:
Manifested:
Among enemies – Ezra 5:11
In battle – 1 Samuel 17:46
Against great foes – Judges 7:7-23
Against great odds – 1 Samuel 17:32, 50
When threatened Daniel – 3:16-18
When intimidated Daniel – 6:10
When facing death – Judges 16:28
In youth – 1 Samuel 14:6-45
In old age – Joshua 14:10-12
Before a king – Esther – 4:8, 16
In moral crises – Nehemiah 13:1-31
In preaching Christ – Acts 3:12-26
In rebuking – Galatians 2:11-15

God bless us, by faith, as our courage grows stronger. Let thy will be done.

Expressing Patience From Charles Stanley Devotional

I am way off schedule today! 😜 Murphy and his brothers brought challenges early this morning! 😁

Sharing from my daily Charles Stanley devotion. This helped me understand my challenges this past week.

We must keep the faith. We must keep our focus on God. We must remember to breathe, when x, y or z shows up! We must forgive! 😰 Bottom line, sometimes, it is what it is! Roll with it!

Read | Ephesians 4:1-3

We’re called to demonstrate patience in times of conflict. As believers, we have an obligation to exhibit this quality because God knows there is great power in showing restraint. Our natural tendency is to shout back when we are wrongly accused, but to reflect Christ, we must choose a different path. We should:

• Stay quiet when verbally attacked. A person’s anger can feed our own and lead to a shouting match. Instead, we should allow him to have his say.

• Listen without responding. In our silence, it may be easy to mentally shut out the verbal assault, but we should listen to the other person’s concerns.

• Pray for whoever is attacking. We probably do not feel like praying, but feelings often get in the way of what God would have us do.

• Control our thoughts. It can be tempting to dwell on the injustice of a situation instead of focusing on God and what He thinks of us.

• Control our emotions. We’re to rely on the Holy Spirit to give right responses.

• Be ready to forgive. We are to be patient when wronged and willing to release our hurt (2 Tim. 2:24).

• Speak encouraging words. It’s good to express appreciation when someone brings a concern to our attention—and to ask forgiveness if we’ve made a mistake.

To our human flesh, these practices may seem foolish and ineffective, but in fact, the opposite is true. There’s great power in patience because so few practice it well. Responding rightly makes an impression on non-believers, who’ll notice something in you that they also want.

God bless you and enjoy your weekend! 😀

Thank You Friends

Glory to God!

20131122-040918.jpg

Roll With It Wednesday

“When you can think of yesterday without regret and tomorrow without fear, you are near contentment.”
– Author Unknown –

Roll with it! 😜

20131119-191022.jpg

“The two hardest tests on the spiritual road are the patience to wait for the right moment and the courage not to be disappointed with what we encounter.”
– Paulo Coelho –

Roll with it! 😜

God bless us, by faith, as we roll with it today, knowing You have equipped us for x, y or z and Praise The Lord for your mercy and your grace! Let thy will be done.

Encouragement

Many times encouragement blesses someone to walk into their season, conquer a fear, feel loved, move forward, get a job, smile. The possibilities are endless to what words of encouragement can do! 😀

20131119-025841.jpg
God bless us, by faith, as we encourage those around us today! Let thy will be done.

By Faith, I Declare

Thank you Lord, that you are always right on time! Your love and protection with your mercy and grace, keeps us standing on Romans 8:28, And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

IMG_0419.JPG

God bless us, by faith, with our praise and gratitude that all good things come from above. Praise The Lord! Let thy will be done.

Let Go

Things and stuff can take its toll, no matter how spiritually mature we are. 😨 Thank God for his mercy and his grace when we stumble. Praise The Lord! 😀

20131023-221732.jpg

God did some pruning on me yesterday! 😁 The fruit long suffering (patience) and temperance (self control) were tested. I blinked, did not practice the pause, and no smiling. Oh, and I forgot to breathe! 😁 Grace.

Let’s just say, I may have a singing career, in my future, because I am perfecting my vocal cords singing 🎶🎶going around the mountain, one more time🎶🎶. Ugh, I have to study for the retest! 😜

Sometimes, we just need to let go and realize it is, what it is! 😜 Adapt and adjust. Forgive others and forgive ourself. Anything else is irrelevant. Let it go! Don’t beat ourself up.

Keep moving forward! Growth and maturity is a life long process! Lighten up. Keep our sense of humor. 😜

God bless us, by faith, as we learn to let go and mediate on John 16:33, These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world and Romans 8:28, And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

God Bless Our Friends

God bless to friends–old friends and new friends! 😀

20130709-053849.jpg

Sometimes, the challenges of time gets away. Days become weeks. Weeks becomes months. Have no worries, my friend, just know, you are loved and covered in prayer!

🎶Thank you for being a friend
🎶Traveled down the road and back again
🎶your heart is true you’re a pal and a confidant

🎶And if you threw a party
🎶Invited everyone you knew
🎶You would see, the biggest gift would be from me
🎶and the card attached would say,
🎶Thank you for being a friend!!

Smile, when times are tough because God blesses us, to get by, with a little help from our friends! 😜

Prayer For Waiting

There is a awesome prayer for those of us waiting…

20130706-225114.jpg

God bless us as we have faith in you and your timing!

Faith Talk For Today and Everyday (Part 2)

Continuing from yesterday’s post–Faith Talk For Today and Everyday (Part 1), faith requires a genuine belief in God and belief in ourself. We all want change in something or someone. 😰 By faith, let each of us BE the change. 😜 We are blessed by the specific BE areas, with specific bible scriptures below, to help us change and evolve in our spiritual growth.

20130706-070019.jpg

Everyday, God uses each of us, saved or unsaved to accomplish his will. We sow and God waters. Until we can adapt to one another, our actions speak louder than words. 😜 Sometimes, what we show and speak to others has a lasting impact. It will either draw or repel! Adapting is accepting, it is what it is, until it knows better. 😜 Adapting is enjoying life in spite of what others do. 😜 Adapting is having faith and hope that God will do what he spoke to your spirit!

God knows everything about each of us and loves us anyway! It always comes back to love. All of us want to be loved. God loves us! Saved or unsaved, we are loved! Until we understand God’s love has no conditions, that he loves us, baggage and all! 😜 We will search and search until we surrender to him. It’s a beautiful thing when we know and receive God’s love!

God bless us as we continue moving forward in our faith, to adapt and love one another as we become the person you created us to be. 😄

Thoughts or comments are always welcomed. 😜

Matthew 17:20 – And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

1 Corinthians 13:3-13 (NKJV) – 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing. 4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 8 Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away. 11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 12 For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known. 13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

Hebrews 11:1 – Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen”.

Hebrews 11:6 – But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Faith Talk For Today and Everyday

Happy Friday! 😜 This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad! Everyday God wakes us up is a blessing! Everyday, God loves us, regardless! His love has no conditions. 😁 Today is about building our faith and our understanding that change starts with each of us. 😰

20130705-053058.jpg

Let us meditate on Romans 10:17, that says “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God”. The scriptures above, by faith, can be a start to change how we think of ourself. 😰 We all bring something to the table. We all express and share our experiences differently. Let us respect each others style 😜. God gives each of us different ways to reach each other. 😀

Faith is speaking those things as if they are and being aligned with the will of God. Change and growth is part of our everyday life. Learning to adapt to change requires faith in God. 😀 Without faith, it is impossible to please him. 😨

God bless us as we keep moving forward by faith understanding that change begins with each of us; and we’re learning to love ourselves because God loves us in spite our stumbles. Thank God for his mercy and his grace! 😜

To be continued….

We welcome your thoughts 😜

Father God, I Come To You

20130702-192315.jpg

Regardless of what we are going through, let us faith it until we make it!

God bless us as we recognize the power of prayer and that you hear us!

Faith It, Till You Make It

Ever wake up with the blahs and off schedule? 😨 Sometimes, we have to faith it, until we make it! Somedays are harder than others, faith it! Sometimes, even surrendering to the Holy Spirit requires us to faith it!

20130702-033658.jpg

Sometimes, God uses anything and anyone to complete his purpose, faith it!

Even when we are strong in The Lord and the power of his might, faith it! 😰
Having struggles, faith it!
This too shall pass, faith it!
Sometimes, it is, what it is, faith it! 😜

Sometimes, we have to keep repeating–Philippians 4:13 – I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me. Faith it!

Sometimes, we just have to smile and sing a song, faith it! 😜 How you doing?

God bless us as we faith it today! 😜

You Say…, God Says….

Let us say what God says…

20130629-030350.jpg

God bless us as we choose to speak positive words about ourselves while changing and moving forward! 😜

We Can Smile Because

Wahoo! It’s Wednesday and we’re choosing by faith to smile because Matthew 5:16 says “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

God gets the glory, each time we extend a genuine 😄 to someone, in spite of how we feel or what we are going through! It shows his presence in our life. 😜

20130625-222059.jpg

We can smile because God woke us up today. 😜
We can smile because it brings positive energy and disarms negativity. 😜
We can smile because God loves us unconditionally.
We can smile because God answers our prayers.
We can smile because God’s mercy and grace is sufficient for today.
We can smile because God is more than able to deliver us from our stuff.
We can smile because God provides for our needs and we are blessed and highly favored.

So regardless, of things, going on in the world, we can give and receive smiles because God is in charge and will never leave us or forsake us!! 😜 How about that! 😜

Blessings

Happy Tuesday! 😜 By faith, we thank God for equipping us to be a blessing to others!

20130624-185846.jpg

Smile, it looks good on ya! 😜

Life

Life is always changing. Romans 8:28 says “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose”.

20130622-024607.jpg

We must be open to changes in life. God is always in charge and can use all things in life (opportunities) to keep us moving forward.

Opportunities help us grow and adapt to one another. Opportunities will test the fruit or lack of fruit in us–love (giving), joy (gladness), peace (free from worry and fear), long suffering (patience), gentleness (kindness), goodness (generosity), faith (dependability), meekness (gentleness) and temperance (self-control). (shock face)

Life is about adapting to stuff that is different.
Life is about adapting to people who are different.
Life is about respecting a persons right to choose–whether we agree or not.
Life is about encouraging one another with our hopes and dreams.
Life is about respecting each others thoughts and the different ways we communicate.
Life is about loving like Jesus. (1Corinthians 13:3-8 (NKJV): 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing. 8 Love never fails).
Life is about forgiveness.

If God loves us, who are we not to follow his lead?

Your thoughts and comments are welcomed. (smile)

Ugh, A Bad and Challenging Day

How was your day? Ever have one of those days that this and that goes south! Stuff just keeps on coming, no matter what you do! 😰 Something must have been in the air today or God pruned me to add more fruit!

20130620-183013.jpg

Thank God for surviving this day! I thought I share in case someone else had a challenging day, where the stuff just kept on coming!

Let us always be kind to ourselves when we have a bad day! Refuse to entertain the “if I woulda this, I coulda that”😜 and just thank God for his mercy and grace!!

Your thoughts on challenging days 😜

It’s Roll With It Wednesday!

Praise God, it’s roll with it Wednesday and we’re blessed he woke us up today! 😜
Smile and roll with it is a choice! 😜
Smile and roll with it because sometimes, it is what it is! 😜
Smile and roll with it because the joy of The Lord is our strength! 😜

20130618-204823.jpg

Smile and roll with it because Romans 8:28 tells us “And we know that ALL things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose”.

Have faith that good or bad, right or wrong, God can work it out! 😜 His will be done.

God bless us as we keep moving forward by faith knowing your mercy and grace is sufficient for today! 😀

Speak To The Lies To Renew Our Mind (Part 3)

This post was originally published on 15 June 2013 and updated on 10 November 2018.

Top of the day to our blessed afriendofjesus2013 friends! When I started this blog, I knew nothing about blogging or what to expect. I am humbled and grateful by the whole blogging experience. I just love The Lord! I am led by the Holy Spirit and enjoy a deep and personal relationship with Jesus! All of my postings are written from a “we” perspective because as Jesus changed my life, and my mind was renewed, my “I” became “we”. It is not my intention to offend or judge anybody by my way of expression.

Today, I am writing from both (I and We) perspectives. God put a message on my heart that we hope opens eyes and gives hope to someone to forgive and release all the stuff being carried to him (God). God is the only one who can heal every area within us and set us free to live and enjoy life. That freedom becomes a testimony of his love and what it can do! Praise God! God is the only one who can change and convict hearts.

God gives us different ways to communicate. With the various ways, we can send out information, Facebook, Twitter, etc, our intent for the “Speak To The Lies To Renew Our Minds” was to give awareness that our thoughts and memories about ourselves can be lies or distorted. We all have stuff that we are working through. Again, we can be our own worst enemy.

The things we think about ourselves keep us oppressed, depressed or creates stress that is or can destroy us. These lies keep us paralyzed living with fear and doubt; anger and pride. These four are the big ones that unless we learn to speak to the stuff from the past, it holds us captive–dead bones walking. Jesus died to give us life! 2 Timothy 1:7 says “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind”.

There are saved and unsaved people around us who can’t get their breakthrough or move forward because they don’t know how to address the issues they carry from the past.

Release it to God. He puts people in our life to help us grow. At a certain point in life, we have to stop blaming others and take responsibility to do something about moving on with life.

The message people never get is that God loves them, in spite of their stuff! Regardless of the past, or anything that they did. God is love! God’s love has no conditions. Our heart goes out to each and every person who is carrying stuff that God did not intend for them to carry!

The speak to the lies message was our way to shake things up and encourage someone to surrender their stuff to God.

God made us all different. So who are we to judge anybody. I love Matthew chapter 25. We forget that God loves. Since we are created in God’s image, who are we to judge anybody. Unfortunately, we all judge to a certain extent–especially when someone is different from us or does things different–but partly because we don’t know any better. Somewhere it became us versus them. People make the world go round. Again, we all bring something to the table.

Sometimes lets agree to disagree. Only a prideful person has something to prove, otherwise let it go! Remember they mocked and talked about Jesus, what makes us think they won’t mock and talk about us. How unfortunate, we can’t love and adapt to each other to get along. Until we can love like 1 Corinthians 13, we are still a work in progress.

Life in and of itself can be tough. Stuff happens but God is and always has been in charge. His will be done. Remember Romans 8:28.

When Jesus is our Lord and Savior, our thoughts and speech change. When Jesus is our Lord and Savior, we get a new heart! When Jesus is our Lord and Savior, we have the fruit of the spirit and are led by The Holy Spirit.

When Jesus is our Lord and Savior, we are rooted and grounded in love to love as Jesus loves–unconditionally regardless because love never fails.

When Jesus is our Lord and Savior, our minds are renewed by the Word of God to speak life into every aspect of our lives and our thoughts lean toward positive and kind ways to help and adapt to others.

When we are led by the Holy Spirit in every area of our lives, we don’t have to tell anyone anything, they will see by our actions and know by our fruit!

God will continue to prune and produce more fruit within us as we work out our own salvation with fear and trembling. When we are emotionally healthy, we become open and light, approachable– so full of love that people are drawn to us. God can make our enemies be at peace with us! Oh to be a child of God!

Let’s talk about love. Free will to choose. God loves us and gives us a choice to choose and love him. Relationships are failing because we put conditions on love. At the end of the day, love is a choice. Single or married, we are blessed if we know God loves us by choice!

God bless to our afriendofjesus2013 friends as we move forward together! Always A Friend

Proverbs 16:7 – When a man’s ways please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.

Matthew 25:42-46 – For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

Romans 8:28 – And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

1 Corinthians 13:3-13 (NKJV) – And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing. Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away. When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known. And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

Philippians 2:12 – Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

Speak To The Lies To Renew Our Mind

This post was originally published on 13 June 2013 and updated on 10 November 2018.

Hello friends. (smile) At some point, we all go through a season of troubling thoughts. We must learn to speak the Word of God to the lies to renew our mind.

Memories and thoughts. Truth and lies. Negative and positive. Light and dark. Our past and present life experiences shape our memories and thoughts, to include our perception of ourselves and what we believe in.

This could also be called baggage. We reinforce these things within us on a regular basis. There are times we can recall every negative event and word spoken, and dwell on it again and again until we become so agitated our flesh man rises…and it’s not pretty.

We can’t move forward, we just become stuck! We can be our own worst enemy!
20130612-222116.jpg
Some of our memories and thoughts keep one or more of the following traits in our life: fear, anger, resentment, bitterness, pride, self-centeredness, stubbornness, need to control, perfectionist, critical and/or judgmental, or filled in the ___________.

None of these are spiritual traits and all of these will keep us from complete surrender to God and living a peaceful spirit led life and having the fruit of the spirit–love (giving), joy (gladness), peace (free from worry and fear), long suffering (patience), gentleness (kindness), goodness (generosity), faith (dependability), meekness (gentleness) and temperance (self-control) within us. Let’s not grieve the Holy Spirit.

Any memory or thought that is negative or dark, and does not align to the Word of God is a lie and we need to speak the truth to it. As we replace lies with truth, our mind gets renewed which changes our thoughts which changes our actions which changes what we think about ourselves and our beliefs.

Learning to love ourselves, flaws and all is the first step to speaking the truth to ourselves. God created us to be in relationships–with Him and each other. When he created us, he put a desire for him into us. Some of us have been running from him our whole lives. Only God can fill the void we feel inside us and heal hurts.

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
~ Hosea 4:6 ~

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
~ 2 Timothy 3:16-17 ~

For the Word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
~ Hebrews 4:12 ~

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God”.
~ Romans 12:2 ~

The past does not define who we’re are today unless we let it. Sometimes we have to let go of things and let God. In the name of Jesus, let’s speak to the lies! Times are tougher than ever. Thoughts are running amok! We must be honest and rip the band aids off. We must remove the mask and expose the lies we tell ourselves and others. Remember actions speak louder than words! (smile)

Sometimes, we seem to be in an instant gratification season. Some don’t take time to listen. Some don’t make time for God. Some are carrying stuff from the past that overwhelms those that love them. Some are carrying burdens that God never meant for them to carry. Some like to argue and control things that causes strife. Wrong thoughts are destructive and stifles growth and destroys people. The Word of God has a chapter and verse for any subject to equipped us to speak to the lies! (smile)

I welcome your thoughts . (smile)

Be Authentic, Be Kind, Be A Blessing

Awesome thought for today! Sometimes, we have to let go and let God fight our battles. God is and always will be in charge! God is the only one who can change and/or convict hearts! 😰

20130611-193923.jpg

So let’s walk by faith today because God blesses us as we move forward choosing to be authentic, kind and a blessing to others! And if we must, sing a song! 😜

Silence and Smile

Wisdom in two words! 😜

20130610-185444.jpg

Sometimes, a smile brings unexpected blessings! Smile and praise God for his blessings as we keep moving forward! 😜

Life Is About Love

Life is about love with no boundaries or conditions. Love starts with each of us. If we can’t love ourselves, it is impossible to love others. What’s sad is those who want love but don’t know how to give love or receive love because they don’t know God or that God loves them.

20130609-030352.jpg

Slowly read and ponder each line of 1 Corinthians 13:3-13 (NKJV):
3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.
4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up;
5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil;
6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;
7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

God loves us regardless of what we can and cannot do. God loves us even when we disappoint him. His love has no have conditions.

To be continued….😰

God bless us as we keep moving forward loving ourselves and each other by faith! 😜

What We Got Here Is…

Hello, friends! We’re blessed to see the end of another week! Thank God! (smile)

Remember the movie Cool Hand Luke and the quote–“What we got here…is failure to communicate.” (smile) So let’s communicate! (smile)

Our message today is having the courage to communicate in our own way. After all, God make us different. We all bring something to the table! We should welcome and encourage each others communication styles. (nervous smile)

God can use anything or anyone for his purpose. Remember Romans 8:28 says “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose”.
20130606-195327.jpg

We love The Lord! We each communicate our love for him in our own way. God is light and God is love. There is no darkness in him. Everyday, the way we communicate through our actions and speech, shows the fruit within us and how rooted and grounded we are in Christ.

Saved or unsaved, people watch us, to see how we handle situations, and how we talk to people, and our attitudes when circumstances are beyond our control. The choices we make in our communication style either draws people or repels them. Remember positive attracts positive. (smile)

When we know who we are and know our self worth in Christ, we display and communicate confidence that no one can shake! Praise the Lord. Love and need. Everybody wants to be loved and needed. When we love ourselves then we can love others. When we disclose our needs then our needs can be met.

When we can do all things through Christ which strengthens us then when we can count it all joy and walk through trials and tribulations (sometimes painfully) by faith because God provides for us daily. Thank you Lord!

How we communicate our lifestyle shows the level of our Christian walk and the likeness of Jesus to those looking at us looking at them. (smile)

Praise God, when we can communicate the free gift of salvation.
Praise God, when we can communicate he loves us unconditionally.
Praise God, when we can communicate we’re blessed and highly favored.
Praise God, when we can communicate in sharing the gospel.
Praise God, when we can communicate his protection and provision.
Praise God, when we can communicate enjoying a spirit led life.
Praise God, when we can communicate kindness and encouragement through difficult times.

It’s a beautiful thing to communicate in our own way. (smile) God did not create us to be robots and dead bones walking. (shock face)

Let us make time for fun. Let us make time to smile and laugh out loud. Let us make time to sing a sing. These things help us renew the mind and does a body good! (smile)

When our light shines, our communication is more open and honest, and people will be drawn to inquire about the God we serve! Now thats communication (cheesy smile)

Be blessed and continue to move forward communicating in your own unique way! (smile)

Slice of Heaven….

Today, may God’s will be done by crossing our paths with someone who needs what we have and someone who has what we need.

20130605-203344.jpg

God bless us as we continue to move forward. 😜

Check Our Motive

Let us check our motive about the words we choose to say at times. 😜

20130605-042729.jpg

Kindness is the next best thing we can offer each other as we grow to love unconditionally. Sometimes, we can choose not to make that comment, notice that flaw and assume the worst about someone. Kindness and unconditional love go together. 😜

Remember we are working to love like Jesus loves.

It always comes down to choices and our motives behind the choice! God bless us as we keep moving forward! 😜

People In Our Life

Just a thought…..

20130603-033120.jpg

God bless us as we keep moving forward! 😜

How God Answers Prayers

Heartfelt prayers to God are powerful. Believing God will answer our prayers is powerful. When we pray for parents; spouse; children; friends; enemies; co-workers; neighbors; or anyone, from an open heart, (no grudges against anyone), God will always answer in his time giving what is needed. So let us pray for each other to release anything negative from our hearts!

20130601-214837.jpg

Prayer changes us! Oh, the possibilities of praying over each of our relationships and specific challenges around us. God is the only one, who can change us and the people and/or things we are praying about! This brings to mind how the fruit of long suffering comes into play, as well as patience! Remember free will to choose, sometimes the person we are praying about, to include us are not ready and God waits until the trip around the same mountain gets so old and tiresome that there is complete surrender to Him. God bless us as we keep moving forward. 😜

Living With No Regrets

Let us live life with no regrets! Each day that God wakes us up is a blessing! Each day that we focus on what is wrong in the world, and in each other, negates the blessing. Let us adapt and love one another by the grace of God since none of us know what the next second, minute or hour brings.

20130601-061128.jpg

Yes, there are challenges everywhere. Let us be specific in our prayers to God and have faith that He will move in mighty ways and show just how powerful He is! After all, Revelation 1:8 says “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith The Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty”.

Praise The Lord and God bless us as we keep moving forward! 😜

A Person’s Actions Will Tell

Something to think about. What does our actions say about us? Are we increasing in the fruit of the spirit–love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance. Are we led by the Holy Spirit?
