Celebrate Abundantly Blessed

The robbed that smiles, steals something from the thief.
~ William Shakespeare ~

I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
~ John 10:9-10 ~

Hello friends. (smile) Welcome Lexa and co-hosts, L.G. Keltner @Writing Off The Edge and Tonja Drecker @Kidbits Blog, to another blessed Friday to celebrate the small things.

I believe that abundantly blessed is a state of mind. It took awhile to find a positive spin for such a ugly week.

Abundantly blessed to see the week from a different perspective. (wink)

The power of self encouragement can break old habits.

The choice, to keep moving forward, when challenged is a blessing.

The choice, to speak positive or turn the other cheek during a Y moment is a blessing.

The choice, to trust God, through uncertainty is a blessing. Praise The Lord.

Abundantly blessed is thankful and grateful for the things that matter.

Abundant blessings, my friends because the just does everything by faith. Praise The Lord.

Celebrate Still Standing

Being challenged in life is inevitable, being defeated is optional.
~ Anonymous ~

Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: by whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; and patience, experience; and experience, hope: and hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

Hello friends. (smile) Welcome Lexa and co-hosts, L.G. Keltner @Writing Off The Edge and Tonja Drecker @Kidbits Blog, to another week to celebrate the small things.

Peace of mind stops tormenting thoughts. Peace of mind brings rest to a weary spirit. Peace of mind can comfort.

To speak and pray God’s Word in difficult or hurting times is powerful. To forgive and forget, is peace of mind. To let yesterday’s stuff go, is peace of mind.

Celebrate Roll With It

The robbed that smiles, steals something from the thief.
~ William Shakespeare ~

Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.  I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
~ Philippians 4:11-13 ~

Hello friends. (smile) Welcome Lexa and co-hosts, L.G. Keltner @Writing Off The Edge and Tonja Drecker @Kidbits Blog, to another week to celebrate the small things.

Hope all is well and you’re keeping the faith. (wink) This week, I celebrate a roll with it attitude that stole from the thief. Praise The Lord.

The thief is my metaphor for test and retesting moments.

There are times, retesting can be a pressure cooker.   Retesting, coupled with distractions, that just keep on coming.  Two days in a row, distractions became overwhelming and draining.

I kept praying and asked how long Lord?  My prayer wasn’t with specificity.  The testing of my faith had something to relearn. Ugh.

I lost my cool and ranted for twenty whole minutes. Yup, I felt better then apologized.  Thank God for mercy and grace.

I internalized rhetoric, and those whispering psst thoughts.  My flesh man took that rhetoric with the whispering psst and reacted while the spirit man waited for my focus to shift.  I relearned praise The Lord through it verses complaining through it.

When going through a retest, pray for the focus to remain on him and not the distraction or the retest.

A new day brought the remembrance to roll with it and let go because it is, what it is, whether abased or abound, contribute to ebbs and flows of a situation.  Roll with it.

To be content, everywhere and in all things steals from the thief.

It’s remembering to breathe calmly because I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.  Roll with it.

It’s remembering still standing because God equips daily.  Roll with it

It’s remembering being deeply rooted, when the mighty wind blows.  Roll with it.

It’s remembering that He’ll never leave nor forsake us.  Roll with it.

Words are powerful, everywhere and in all things, when the foundation, to be content, rest in Jesus Christ until victory comes because retesting never stops.

Abundant blessings, my friends, because the just does everything by faith. Enjoy your day and have a blessed weekend.

Praise The Lord.

As always, I welcome your thoughts. (smile)

Celebrate KTF Stimulates Hope

Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
~ Proverbs 4:23 ~

Before befriending others, you have to be your own best friend. Before correcting others, you have to correct yourself. Before making others happy, you have to make yourself happy. It is not termed as selfish, but personal development. Once you balance yourself, only then can you balance the world.
~ Unknown Author ~

Hello friends. (smile) Welcome Lexa and co-hosts, L.G. Keltner @Writing Off The Edge and Tonja Drecker @Kidbits Blog, to another week to celebrate the small things. Hope all is well.

A friendly reminder, I write when I can since the circus pays my salary and I like a meal and place to sleep regularly. (wink)

This week, I celebrate Keeping The Faith (KTF) because faith stimulates hope. Praise The Lord.

People, environments, unexpected circus distractions can bring change whether we like it or not. We can only control ourself.

Change is my metaphor for personal development. Change forces self reflection. Change eventually heals, promotes and brings wholeness.

Spirit fruit comes from within. We can’t give what’s not within us.

There are seasons, change will separate us to crawl, walk and run to keep moving forward.

Life experience is the best teacher. It shows an ability to adapt when life brings issues.

KTF stimulates hope that tomorrow brings _____________(fill in the blank).

Everything, whether good or bad teaches something.

Thank God for his mercy and grace when we stumble.

As we change, the ability to be humble comes naturally. It demonstrates self-control and strength that runs deep.

Praise The Lord.

KTF stimulates hope to change perspective on those Y moments.

KTF stimulates hope during situations and conflicts that feel like a fiery furnace.

KFT stimulates hope when trusting the faithfulness of God in all things.

Abundant blessings, my friends because the just does everything by faith. Praise The Lord. Enjoy your weekend!

As always, I welcome your thoughts. (smile)

Celebrate and Appreciate The Small Things

We have to learn to appreciate and enjoy life! Try to enjoy the small things; like peace, silence, sleep, people, ability to walk, breathe and laugh easy.

Stop stressing over things you have no control over. Accept your life as it is and stop comparing it to others. You will learn to enjoy your surroundings and embrace your life in a better way!
~ Charles P ~

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
~ Romans 8:28~

Hello friends. (smile) Welcome Lexa and co-hosts, L.G. Keltner @Writing Off The Edge and Tonja Drecker @Kidbits Blog, to another blessed Friday to celebrate the small things.

Hope all is well in your world. Praise The Lord, all is well in my world.

This week, my thoughts centered around the quote and scripture above.

Celebrate and appreciate the small things like the ability to see clearly (wahoo, new glasses); the ability to take a nap, the ability to enjoy peace and quiet anywhere, and the ability to pray about unhealthy situations, and comfort and healing friends.

Celebrate and appreciate courage to share thoughts and struggles. Joys and pain. Y moments.

Celebrate and appreciate encouraging one another. Virtual {{{hugs}}} and a (smile). (wink)

Celebrate and appreciate how God can work all things out.

Celebrate and appreciate faith and hope and the power of specific prayers.

God knows we need prayers.

Abundant blessings, my friends because the just does everything by faith. Praise The Lord.

Celebrate Faith Through It

When you can’t control what’s happening, challenge yourself to control the way you respond to what’s happening. That’s where your power is!
~ Author Unknown ~

But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
~ 1 Peter 5:10-11 ~

Hello friends. (smile) Welcome Lexa and co-hosts, L.G. Keltner @Writing Off The Edge and Tonja Drecker @Kidbits Blog, to another blessed Friday to celebrate the small things.

Hope all is well in your world. (wink) Nothing gets attention more than health challenges, plus accepting the fact that reading cheaters no longer work.

Celebrate faith through it.

Reality forces change. A realization that stress is cumulative.

To everything, there is a season. Faith through it.

The valleys and the mountains.

It’s been hectic and drama filled days at the circus. Challenging conversations. My little maladies stabilizing while adjusting to changes beyond my control. Sticking to a routine, of proper rest, helped to balance energy level.

The blessings.

The power of praying comforts and releases everything to God, who can change seasons. I’ve been praying and releasing everything to God. Thank you Lord.

By the grace of God, today, I can smile because all is well in my world again. Praise The Lord. (wink)

There is something powerful about seeing good after a bad season.

There is something powerful about letting go.

There is something powerful about knowing who we are in Christ.

Too many times, energy is wasted on the why of it. It is, what it is.

Faith through it, whatever it is. I love the quote above because without the valleys, we wouldn’t recognize the blessings of the mountains. Praise The Lord.

Abundant blessings, my friends, because the just does everything by faith. Praise The Lord.

As always, I welcome your thoughts. (smile)

Celebrate Mercy and Grace

The robbed that smiles, steals something from the thief.
~ William Shakespeare ~

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
~ Hebrews 4:16 ~

Hello friends. (smile) Welcome Lexa and co-hosts, L.G. Keltner @Writing Off The Edge and Tonja Drecker @Kidbits Blog, to another blessed Friday to celebrate the small things.

Hope all is well in your world. This week, I celebrate sharing encouraging thoughts on God’s mercy and grace.

I love, love, love, the quote above.

There will be times, we’re to extend mercy and grace to situations around us.

Just like God freely extends his mercy and grace to us.   Ain’t life grand!

It’s quite comforting when we extend God’s mercy and grace to Y moments and/or situations.   It steals the ability to vex us.

Prayer and forgiveness steals from Y moments.

Faith and hope steal from Y situations.

Empathy and compassion, on a rough day, steals from Y moments.

Positivity steals from Y moments.

Thank God for his mercy and his grace when we stumble.   It steals from self condemnation and self ridicule. (wink)

Abundant blessings, my friends, and enjoy your weekend because the just does everything by faith. Praise The Lord.

Celebrate The Ability to Adapt

Happiness is not the absence of problems but the ability to deal with them.
~ Author Unknown ~

Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
~ Philippians 4:11-13 ~

Hello friends. (smile) Welcome Lexa and co-hosts, L.G. Keltner @Writing Off The Edge and Tonja Drecker @Kidbits Blog, to another blessed Friday to celebrate the small things.

Hope all is well in your world.

Last week, the brutal Virginia cold had me down for the count for three days straight. Brrrr.

This week, I celebrate the ability to adapt.

The ability to adapt is contentment, to remain steady state, regardless of situations or Y moments.

It’s the quiet port in a storm.

It’s keeping the faith when all around is hectic.

It’s hope until victory comes and it does.

Praise The Lord when we find new ways to adapt anytime and anywhere. (grin)

As we get older, the ability to adapt is quite powerful. (wink) We have choices. We can only control ourself.
Those testing moments teach something.

Our tolerance level changes. Our focus changes. Especially when we remember I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Do it by faith. (wink)

Learning to adapt with aging and maladies remind us to slow down and get the proper rest.

Learning to adapt, in difficult environments, is comforting that I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Some days are better than others. Keeping the faith makes the ability to adapt and run our race easier. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Abundant blessings, my friends, to adapt anytime and anywhere because I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Keep the faith.

Happy Holidays!

Celebrate Victory Does Come

The great advantage of being in a rut is that when one is in a rut, one knows exactly where one is.
~ Arnold Bennett ~

But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
~ 1 Corinthians 15:57-58~

Hello friends. (smile) Welcome Lexa and co-hosts, L.G. Keltner @Writing Off The Edge and Tonja Drecker @Kidbits Blog, to another blessed Friday to celebrate the small things.

This week, I celebrate no longer in a rut. Victory does come. Praise The Lord.

When faith is tested; challenging moments just keep on coming; and praying becomes a hour by hour survival; we can find ourselves in rut.

A rut experience can be positive and negative.

I pretty much stop talking about stuff and started castings my cares.

Hashtag # careless. (wink)

I slowly became okay with a sense of tranquility because it is, what it is. Keep moving forward.

I love the quote above because it helped me understand, yup, I’m in a rut, no pretending I’m not, and in time, victory does come.

Being in a rut can give clarity to a situation, by knowing it’s temporary, and evidently victory does come. (whew)

Being in a rut teaches something and is quite humbling.

Keep the faith and run your race.

Victory does come. Praise The Lord, my rut season is over.

Abundant blessings, my friends, keep the faith and enjoy your weekend.

Your comments or thoughts are welcome. (smile)

Celebrate Hashtag (#) Careless

Be fearless when it comes to life, and careless when it comes to what people say and think about you.
~ Unknown Author ~

Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
~ 1 Peter 5:6-7 ~

Hello friends. (smile) Welcome Lexa and co-hosts, L.G. Keltner @Writing Off The Edge and Tonja Drecker @Kidbits Blog, to another blessed Friday to celebrate the small things.

Hope all is well in your world. This week, I celebrate hashtag (#) careless. (wink)

The creative ways to communicate our experience, through writing, is liberating.

No dead bones walking. Spiritually alive and open to life with all its stuff being   f  r  e  e.  (smile)

Hashtag (#) careless is my metaphor for letting go; rising above, moving forward actively and not passively.

Hashtag (#) careless is encouraging words to release and let go of stuff that weights us down.

To let go, is giving it to the one person, that nothing is to hard for him. Praise The Lord.

Hashtag (#) careless realizes circumstances are temporary because we walk by faith, not by sight. (wink)

Hashtag (#) careless puts anything negative or draining at the foot of the cross. Too heavy to carry.

Hashtag (#) careless can rise about opinions that are just that opinions. No internalizing garbage.

Hashtag (#) careless keeps the faith because the just live by faith.

Abundant blessings, my friends to hashtag (#) careless and enjoy your day and weekend. (smile)

Your thoughts are always welcome. (wink)

Celebrate KTF

Keeping the faith, praying and meditating, on the Word of God, defeats negativity every single time bringing tree standing inner strength. For me, praying Psalms 36, 91 and 109, with faith, has been powerful in situations and environments. Never lose faith in the power of prayer.
~ Ann V. Friend ~

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
~ Romans 8:38-39 ~

Hello friends, welcome Lexa and co-hosts, L.G. Keltner @Writing Off The Edge and Tonja Drecker @Kidbits Blog, to another blessed Friday to celebrate the small things. (smile)

Hope all is well in your world. This week, I celebrate KTF and away from the circus. I left a gone fishing sign on my door. (wink)

Everyday we have a choice. The ability to remember that is wisdom. KTF.

KTF is a choice. KTF is seeing situations from a different perspective.

Regardless, of things and stuff or Y moments, nothing separates us from God’s love and his mercy and grace. KTF.

When we know who we are in Christ, we have empathy and can bless our enemies. KTF.

KTF is powerful through stressful and toxic environments.   KTF has hope.

KTF is knowing, we’re more than conquerors.

KTF is patience that endures.

God will never leave us or forsake us. KTF.

Praise The Lord for those things and the little darlings that help us grow and mature.  KTF.

Glory to God, each time we’re the light in a dark environment. KTF.

Abundant blessings, my friends, as we keep the faith. Enjoy your weekend.

Celebrate Grace to Adjust

The robbed that smiles, steals something from the thief.
~ William Shakespeare ~

The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand.
~ Psalm 37:23-24 ~

Hello friends. (smile) Happy Friday! Welcome Lexa and co-hosts to another blessed Friday to celebrate the small things.

There are times obedience is better than sacrifice. Again, I missed the mark to complete NaBloPoMo. (smile)

Wahoo, something to do.

Sometimes, plans change. This week, I celebrate grace to adjust. It is a beautiful thing to understand God’s grace and the ability to adjust to life.

Grace to adjust can silence psst.

Grace to adjust realizes it is, what it is.

Grace to adjust ___________(fill in the blank)

My first allegory poem:

Life has challenges
Ebbs and flows
Things and stuff
Perception is different to everyone

Can be temporary
Can be long-suffering
Can be tough
Get understanding of self

Exposes weakness
Exposes strength
Exposes attitude
End result gives experience

Brings growth
Builds strength
Defines character
Enhances maturity

Time spent at the circus
This place that pay wages
Where challenges are daily
Coming at various stages

There is pressure
There is angst
There is unbalance
Enough to be weaken

Slow down to breath
Slow down to pause
Slow down to adjust
Electing to choose grace

Grace to crawl or walk
Grace to endure
Grace to adjust
Navigating through

It’s the end of the day
A turned up look
Beaten but not broken
Now experienced because grace got you through

Praise The Lord for his grace.

Abundant blessings, my friends as we choose grace to adjust. Have an awesome day!

Celebrate The Small Things, 20 March 2015

I’m stronger because I had to be, smart because of my mistakes, happier because of the sadness I’ve known, and now wiser because I’ve learned. ~Unknown Author ~

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.Romans 8:28 ~

Hello friends.  (smile) Hope all is well in your world.  (smile)

It’s a beautiful thing when God gives us what we need.  He always provides.  Praise The Lord.  A reason to celebrate the small things.

Learning to celebrate the small things grow, as we walk through with faith, knowing how God can work all things out.  (smile)

Yesterday was my two year blogging anniversary.  Praise The Lord.  Celebrate the small things.

Thank you friends and abundant blessings for supporting my blog.  I appreciate the support! Celebrate the small things.

I give glory to God for my second  year  anniversary.  Only He knows the number of times, I almost quit.  (shock face) Celebrate the small things.

So today, I celebrate the small things, I no longer take for granted.

Keeping the faith is powerful when we keep walking through trusting the faithfulness of God working  all things out.  (smile) Celebrate the small things.

Friends, have a blessed and great day, celebrate the small things! (smile)
