Celebrate Faith and God’s Amazing Grace

God never leads us where he cannot keep us. His grace is always sufficient for us in any and every circumstance of life.
~ Author Unknown ~

And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
~ 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 ~

Celebrate Strength Deeply Rooted

I’m stronger because I had to be, smart because of my mistakes, happier because of the sadness I’ve known, and now wiser because I’ve learned.
~ Unknown Author ~

Blessed is the man that trusted in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
~ Jeremiah 17:7-8 ~

Hello friends. (smile) Welcome Lexa and co-hosts, L.G. Keltner @Writing Off The Edge and Tonja Drecker @Kidbits Blog, to another week to celebrate the small things.

Hope all is well and you’re keeping the faith. (wink)  Praise The Lord, I was able to post on time.  Wahoo.

This week, I celebrate strength deeply rooted. I love the Oak Tree Poem and today’s scripture.  Both helped me crawl through back-to-back seasons while praying round the clock.

The little things we share, build up, soften the rough edges, give a different perspective, show kindness, a virtual {{hug}} ______________________(fill in the blank), contribute to strength deeply rooted.

There are times, inspiration and encouragement comes when needed most.

It’s through the rough times, those fiery furnace moments, to learn and understand strength deeply rooted.

It’s putting on the full armour of God, praying the Word, having faith and trust in the Lord, to endure the mighty wind that blows.    Thank you, Lord, your loving faithfulness comforts and sustains.

Like unexpected challenges, in life, it’s a process to develop strength deeply rooted.  It’s experience to sustain the mighty wind that blows.

Abundant blessings, my friends, because the just does everything by faith. Enjoy your day and your weekend.

Praise The Lord.

As always, I welcome your thoughts. (smile)

Celebrate Perseverance

Perseverance, secret of all triumphs.
~ Victor Hugo ~

Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: by whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulations worketh patience; and patience, experience, and experience, hope: and hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
~ Romans 5:1-5 ~

Hello friends. (smile) Welcome Lexa and L.G. Keltner @Writing Off The Edge, to celebrate the small things. Hope all is well in your world.

Life. The ebbs and flows. The Y moments. The circus shenanigans. The lost of a someone. Health concerns or _________ fill in the blank. Ever had a moment where you thought life is not fair?

Although life can be unfair, it is, what it is. Don’t get stuck.

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
~Romans 8:28 ~

This week, I celebrate perseverance and how things always work out in its proper time. Praise The Lord.

Perseverance is powerful when we realize all experiences get us there. Praise The Lord.

Progressing (keeps moving forward)
Encouraging (motivated by I can do this)
Renewing (changes our past thoughts)
Strongest (deep inner strength from above)
Enduring (learns from past experience to prepare for the present)
Visualizing (faith to believe in what we can’t see)
Empowering (validated by how far we come)
Recognizing (yes, been there, done that)
Achieving (deliverance through grace)
Noting (in time, we’ll make it through)
Changing (better than yesterday)
Experiencing (teaches something. It’s a process of life events)

Experience with the faithfulness of God, through our relationship with the Lord. He never leaves us, nor forsakes us is perseverance.

Experience with casting our cares is perseverance.

Experience with faith through all things is perseverance.

Experience with showing mercy and grace is perseverance.

Experience with forgiveness is perseverance.

Experience with seeing another perspective is perseverance.

Abundant blessings, my friends because the just does everything by faith. Praise The Lord.  Enjoy your weekend!

Celebrate Perseverance In 2017

Celebrate Perseverance in 2017
In life, you will realize there is a purpose for every person you meet. Some are there to test you, some will use you, some will teach you, and some will bring out the worst in you, while others bring out the best.
~ Unknown Author ~

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
~ Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 ~

Perseverance, through environments and Y moments, chooses to see another perspective while maintaining self-control.

Perseverance learns to endure.

Perseverance embraces contentment.

Perseverance forgives and forgets, by choice, through the grace, of God.

Celebrate The Journey to Contentment

The art of life is to know how to enjoy a little and to endure much.
~ Unknown Author ~

Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
~ Philippians 4:11-12 ~

Hello friends. (smile) Hope all is well. Welcome Lexa and co-hosts, L.G. Keltner @Writing Off The Edge and Tonja Drecker @Kidbits Blog, to another blessed Friday to celebrate the small things.

Life moments give experience. Life moments require decisions. Life moments test.

Life is a journey of moments. This week, I celebrate all the things and stuff, as well as, the Y moments that became a journey to contentment.

Praise The Lord for grace that sustains.

Contentment is a learned choice. Contentment understands it is, what it is.

Adapt and adjust. Forgive. Let go. Move on. Be free.

Contentment is inner strength and peace in action.

The power of contentment brings a liberating mindset to endure.

Abundant blessings, my friends because the just does everything by faith. Praise The Lord. Enjoy your weekend.

Celebrate The Mindset of Positivity

There is no danger of developing eyestrain from looking on the bright side of things.
~ Unknown Author ~

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
~ Philippians 4:8 ~

Hello friends. (smile) Welcome Lexa and co-hosts, L.G. Keltner @Writing Off The Edge and Tonja Drecker @Kidbits Blog, to another week to celebrate the small things.

Hope all is well and you’re keeping the faith. (smile) This week, I celebrate a new month and the mindset of positivity. Why be negative?

Thoughts are powerful. Patience is required. Self encouragement is a necessity.

July was dog barking rough for me. Been in a fiery furnace situation while going around the same mountain.  Bygones.

Praise The Lord, his presence provided strength that helped me walk and move forward because I was never alone.

I share these encouraging thoughts:

Perseverance to keep going
Optimistic with hope
Significance of faith and trust in The Lord
Inspirational scriptures
Thrive on the power of scriptures
Inspiring thoughts encourage
Versatility in ways to stay positive
Inner peace is a blessing
Thankful everyday
Yielding to defeat negative thoughts

There are times when silence is a blessing to listen.

Positive thoughts lead to positive communication.

Changing focus and perspective, about a situation, is wisdom to keep moving forward.

To God, be the glory.

Positivity is energy.  It attracts people. (wink)

Celebrate Bygones

The past cannot be changed. The future is yet in your power.
~ Unknown Author ~

Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
~ Isaiah 43:18-19 ~

Hello friends. (smile) Welcome Lexa and co-hosts, L.G. Keltner @Writing Off The Edge and Tonja Drecker @Kidbits Blog, to another week to celebrate the small things.

Hope all is well and you’re keeping the faith. (smile)  Praise The Lord, all is well in my world. Last week, not so much.  Bygones.

This week, I celebrate bygones. (wink) I just love the power of words and the various and unique ways to express them.

Bygones is like a mantra, for self-encouragement, to illustrate the ability to let go.   Remember casting our cares? Bygones.

Whether it’s yesterday, a year, a month, a day, a hour, it’s the past.  Bygones.

Things happen.   Bygones.   People leave.  Bygones.   Faith tested.  Bygones.

Bygones is that wilderness environment that changes a person.  Bygones teach.

Bygones is the ability to transition between seasons and the process of experience.  Bygones discover.

Disagreements. Challenges. Conflicts.  Bygones learn.

Perception. Contrast. Difference.  Bygones reflect.

Sometimes, speaking bygones out loud controls the tongue in a heated moment.  Bygones.

Bygones  releases yesterday as moved on with hope and faith for today.

Abundant blessings, my friends because the just does everything by faith. Praise The Lord. Enjoy your weekend!

As always, I welcome your thoughts. (smile)

Celebrate Walk Through Experience Poem

Hello friends. (smile) Welcome Lexa and co-hosts, L.G. Keltner @Writing Off The Edge and Tonja Drecker @Kidbits Blog, to another week to celebrate the small things.

Hope all is well and you’re keeping the faith. (wink)

Wahoo, this week, I celebrate finishing my third poem. It took me a year and a half to get the words and timing right.

I love poetry. It’s my hope and faith to write spiritual poetry soon.

Wahoo, something to do. (wink)

Walk Through Experience

As we live and get older
Its much easier to see
Faith and trust in Jesus Christ

Is the safest place to be

Most won’t understand this
That makes it very sad
To know Him is to say out loud

He loves and protects me well

The many things in life
Bring forth ebbs and flows
Faith to go the distance

A quitter will never know

Life can change in an instant
Regret is what we’ll have
All because a little doubt

Is all we ever had

Belief becomes important
Validated by what we speak
This is faith in action

That will always trump defeat

To know him is love
To trust him is wisdom
Anything else is a substitute

Left empty and wishing

I share this with a passion
Because I believe it’s true
Jesus Christ died on the cross

Because God loved me and you

Celebrate The Process of Balance

Life is for most of us a continuous process of getting used to things we hadn’t expected.
~ Unknown Author ~

Hello friends. (smile) Welcome Lexa and co-hosts, L.G. Keltner @Writing Off The Edge and Tonja Drecker @Kidbits Blog, to another week to celebrate the small things.

Hope all is well and you’re keeping the faith. (smile)

I believe to be content, everywhere and in all things, requires learning the process of balance.

People.  Situations.  Time.  The unexpected.   Moments that test faith.

Balance, to be content, is living through life moments.

Balance, to be content, can do all things through Christ.

Balance, to be content, sees a different perspective and counts the blessing.

Learning balance, to be content, is a process. It’s a process, did I mention, it’s a process. (wink)

Never stop learning the process of balance. Content is the reward.

Praise The Lord.

Abundant blessings, my friends because the just does everything by faith. Praise The Lord. Enjoy your weekend!

As always, I welcome your thoughts. (smile)

Celebrate So What….It’s Liberating!

Some will, some don’t, so what!
~ American Proverb ~

What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
~ Romans 8:31 ~

Hello friends. (smile) Welcome Lexa and co-hosts, L.G. Keltner @Writing Off The Edge and Tonja Drecker @Kidbits Blog, to another blessed Friday to celebrate the small things.

Hope all is well. This week, I celebrate “so what” because it’s liberating.   “So what” helped my sense of humor remember that laughter is good for the heart.  (wink)   Praise The Lord.

The power of words and how we’re creative in using them is liberating.

“So what” is my updated metaphor of hashtag # careless, casting burdens, frustrations, everything to The Lord. (smile)

Things become too heavy for us to carry.

“So what” is a attitude of faith that regardless of the many challenges, changes beyond our comfort level, if God be for us, who can be against us?

Whatever it is, we’re in good hands, equipped to walk through it, baby step through it, or my personal favorite–crawl through it.

“So what” when we stumble, thank God for his grace.

“So what”  we require glasses when we’re not sleeping, thank God,  we can see.

“So what” when the little darlings start strife, thank God, we can smile and walk away.

“So what” is quite liberating when we rise above anything.   Thank God, we’re more than conquerors.

With all the things life situations can throw at us, “so what” we’re still standing, sitting or squatting strong.  (wink)

Abundant blessings, my friends to enjoy your day and weekend, because the just does everything by faith. Praise The Lord.

As always, I welcome your thoughts. (smile)

Celebrate and Appreciate The Small Things

We have to learn to appreciate and enjoy life! Try to enjoy the small things; like peace, silence, sleep, people, ability to walk, breathe and laugh easy.

Stop stressing over things you have no control over. Accept your life as it is and stop comparing it to others. You will learn to enjoy your surroundings and embrace your life in a better way!

Hope all is well in your world. Praise The Lord, all is well in my world.

This week, my thoughts centered around the quote and scripture above.

Celebrate and appreciate the small things like the ability to see clearly (wahoo, new glasses); the ability to take a nap, the ability to enjoy peace and quiet anywhere, and the ability to pray about unhealthy situations, and comfort and healing friends.

Celebrate and appreciate courage to share thoughts and struggles. Joys and pain. Y moments.

Celebrate and appreciate encouraging one another. Virtual {{{hugs}}} and a (smile). (wink)

Celebrate and appreciate how God can work all things out.

Celebrate and appreciate faith and hope and the power of specific prayers.

God knows we need prayers.

Celebrate Bye-Bye to 2016

In life, you will realize there is a purpose for every person you meet. Some are there to test you, some will use you, some will teach you, and some will bring out the worst in you, while others bring out the best.

Hello friends. (smile) Welcome Lexa and co-hosts, L.G. Keltner @Writing Off The Edge and Tonja Drecker @Kidbits Blog, to another blessed Friday to celebrate the small things.

Hope all is well in your world. This week, I celebrate bye-bye to 2016.

I’m smiling as I reminisce about God’s faithfulness through the joy and pain, the ebb and flow, the good and not so good experiences in 2016.

To be honest, this was a rough year. Thank God for his mercy and grace that walked me through all things. (smile)

There are moments that healing comes through all things.

There are situations that promote discipline through all things.

There are environments that develop courage and inner strength through all things.

There are times, it is, what it is through all things.

Bottom line, still standing, faith stronger than ever, loved and protected by the King through all things.

Praise the Lord, all things work together for our good. All things.

Abundant blessings, my friends, as we say bye-bye 2016 and hello to a faithful and hopeful new year. (wink)

Celebrate Letting Go Takes Love

The consciousness of loving and being loved brings a warmth and richness to life that nothing else can bring.”
~ Oscar Wilde ~

And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: and thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
~ Mark 12:29-31 ~

Hello friends. (smile) Welcome Lexa and co-hosts, L.G. Keltner @Writing Off The Edge and Tonja Drecker @Kidbits Blog, to another blessed Friday to celebrate the small things.

This week, celebrate letting go takes love.  It’s liberating to love enough to let go.

Loving ourself flaws and all is easier when we know God loves us unconditionally.

Loving our neighbor is shown when we let go of ___________________ (fill in the blank)

Celebrate Roll With It

Hello friends, Lexa and co-hosts, L.G. Keltner @Writing Off The Edge and Tonja Drecker @Kidbits Blog, to another blessed week to celebrate the small things. (smile)

This week, I celebrate the choice to roll with it and a surprise blessing of a case of Dr. Pepper, from a dear friend, at my door. (grin)

The little things that touch us in mighty ways. (smile)

It is, what it is. It is my metaphor for things and stuff or the Y moments that test patience and self control.

This week, roll with it, kept my focus on the positive and put all else at the foot of the cross! Praise The Lord.

There are times, we give it too much power. Let it go  and move on.

No coulda, woulda, shoulda replays.

Roll with it, by keeping the faith.

Roll with it, by loving some folks, from a distance.

Roll with it, because you can’t help a fool.

Roll with it encourage the choice to let it go.

Abundant blessings, keep the faith and enjoy the weekend. (smile)

Celebrate The Blessings of Contentment

The robbed that smiles, steals something from the thief.
~ William Shakespeare ~

Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.

I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

~ Philippians 4:11-13 ~

Hello friends. (smile) Welcome Lexa and co-hosts, L.G. Keltner @Writing Off The Edge and Tonja Drecker @Kidbits Blog, to another blessed Friday to celebrate the small things.

Hope all is well in your world. (wink) My extended time away was needed. All is well.

Nothing gets attention like experiencing little maladies, (stiff joints, hurt knee, one minute hot, next cold, tiredness or fill in the blank); as well as, distractions and the testing of faith, to recognize, as we get older, the mind and body needs proper rest.

The fast pace to keep pushing takes its toll. Stress unchecked accumulates. Less and less time to properly rest. Back in the day, I could get by with four hours of sleep. Not anymore.

Extended time away helped balance things and stuff by being content until……

This week, I celebrate understanding and knowing true contentment through my Lord and Saviour. Praise The Lord.

Contentment is a state of being because I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Contentment, with the good and not so good, knows how to let stuff go. It is, what it is.

Contentment knows those “it” moments are temporary.

Contentment can smile and walk away from angst and foolishness.

Contentment can adapt.

So I plan to write as I can while staying in a state of contentment. (smile)

How about you, what brings you contentment?

Blessings as we keep the faith to keep moving forward. Enjoy your weekend!

Celebrate Controlling My Tongue

Sometimes, not saying anything is the best answer. You see, silence can never be misquoted.
~ Unknown Author ~

Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous: not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.

For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.
~ 1 Peter 3:8-11~

Hello friends. (smile) Welcome Lexa and co-hosts, L.G. Keltner @Writing Off The Edge and Tonja Drecker @Kidbits Blog, to another blessed Friday to celebrate the small things.

Hope all is well in your world. (smile) Been busy at the circus and just returned from a TDY trip.

I celebrate controlling my tongue. No complaining when I was assigned the last seat on the plane.

No nasty response when security randomly selected me to be padded down in front of everybody.

No entertaining rhetoric when I got the middle seat with no leg room and a crying baby near my ear.

Silence is powerful, when we realize most times, no response is required. Now that’s wisdom from above.

Praise The Lord for self-control and understanding controlling the tongue is a process.

Thank God for his grace and faith, at the end, of the day, I’m blessed, smiling and still standing.

Abundant blessing and enjoy your weekend!

Hello friends. (smile) Welcome Lexa and co-hosts, L.G. Keltner @Writing Off The Edge and Tonja Drecker @Kidbits Blog, to another blessed Friday to celebrate the small things.

This week, I celebrate life with all its stuff. Please know I share my journey and all my vulnerabilities to help others. I give glory to God for courage to share the ebbs and flows.

Life gets so much easier when we work on our things and stuff. I’ve been around the same mountain for months. I’ve endured challenges that were not pretty. I chose to stay positive and be okay until…..

All in all, I’ve kept the faith trusting in the only person who strengtheneth me. My Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

I perceive victory as I continue to renew my mind and let the past go bye-bye.

It’s quite liberating to release the woulda, coulda and shoulda of yesterday.

It’s quite powerful to forgive daily.

It’s a beautiful thing, to understand, how God can use all things to make us better and bring his best into our life.

So I celebrate seeing life through different lens and appreciate his love and grace when I’m challenged. Thank you Lord.

Abundant blessings, my friends and keep the faith.

Celebrate I’m Okay

There are times, I’m okay is a appropriate response.
~ Ann V Friend ~

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
a time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
a time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
a time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

Celebrate Contrast in Life

Life is too short. Grudges are a waste of perfect happiness. Laugh when you can. Apologize when you should let go of what you can.

Take chances. Give everything have no regrets. Life is too short to be unhappy. You have to take the good with the bad. Smile when you’re sad.

Love what you got always remember what you had. Always forgive but never forget. Learn from your mistakes but never regret. People change things go wrong. but always remember, life goes on.
~ Unknown Author ~

And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
~ 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 ~

Hello friends. (smile) Welcome Lexa and co-hosts, L.G. Keltner @Writing Off The Edge and Tonja Drecker @Kidbits Blog, to another blessed Friday to celebrate the small things.

Today, I celebrate contrasts, in life, by keeping the faith and trusting God with everything.

It always comes down to choices. Why let things and stuff or Y situations change the course of a moment?

Thank God for grace when I react negatively. (shock face) Yesterday, I stumbled. I should have stayed home.

Sometimes, enough is enough. Sometimes, I get tired of rhetoric. Sometimes, we can come full circle to a blessings that makes the stumble worthwhile. (grin) Thank you Lord.

Abundant blessings, my friends, as we see the contrast of faith versus ______________(fill in the blank).

Celebrate Blessed By Faith

The robbed that smiles, steals something from the thief.
~ William Shakespeare ~

And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed be ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God. Blessed are ye that hunger now: for ye shall be filled. Blessed are ye that weep now: for ye shall laugh. Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man’s sake.

Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets. But woe unto you that are rich! for ye have received your consolation. Woe unto you that are full! for ye shall hunger. Woe unto you that laugh now! for ye shall mourn and weep. Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets.
~ Luke 6:20-26 ~

Blessed By Faith
This week, I celebrate many things. To know that God can use anyone (even enemies) and any circumstance, to bless us, is a beautiful thing. It’s a painful process until the realization that it’s temporary and part of growth, nonetheless, blessed by faith.

Praise The Lord for blessings.

Imagine smiling or practicing the pause to breathe before reacting. Powerful! (grin)

Friends, we’re blessed, by faith, regardless of __________________ (fill in the blank) because his Word tells us blessed are…………

Celebrate Faith and Contentment

In the middle of every difficulty lies opportunity.
~ Albert Einstein ~

Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
~ Philippians 4:11-13 ~

Hello friends. (smile) Welcome Lexa and co-hosts, L.G. Keltner @Writing Off The Edge and Tonja Drecker @Kidbits Blog, to another blessed Friday to celebrate the small things.

This week, Join me to celebrate faith and contentment. It’s a beautiful thing to have faith and contentment in whatever season we’re walking or crawling through.

Remember, I love crawling through because it gives me rest in between challenges or Y moments. (wink) Praise The Lord.

Faith and contentment exemplify I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

The power of knowing I can walk or crawl through _________________ (fill in the blank) is liberating to being f r e e because we know who we are in Christ.

There are times, extra grace is needed, to maintain faith and a state of contentment, especially when waiting or stuck in a challenging environment or situation. Keep the faith, it’s temporary.

There are times, it’s painful, when faith is tested to maintain contentment, pause to breathe calmly and remember God’s faithfulness. Keep the faith, it passes. Praise The Lord.

Faith and contentment builds inner strength to show Jesus to a hurting world.

Abundant blessings, my friends, with faith and contentment to enjoy today.

Celebrate Forgiveness

There is a difference between like and love, wrong and right. Never run if you’re not ready to take a step. And never forgive, if you’re not ready to forget.
~ Unknown Author ~

Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.
~ Matthews 18:21-22 ~

Hello friends. (smile) Welcome Lexa and co-hosts, L.G. Keltner @Writing Off The Edge and Tonja Drecker @Kidbits Blog, to another blessed Friday to celebrate the small things.

I must admit, I’m enjoying the weekly celebrate the small things. (wink) it’s quite liberating. Thanks for the opportunity to share.

Yay, I made posting before midnight. Praise The Lord.

A quick reminder I write when I can because my day job pays the bills and provides food to microwave. (smile) Got to eat! This week, I celebrate forgiveness. Forgiveness is a choice. Seventy times seven? Yup, it’s a choice.

Forgiveness is powerful because it keeps a heart and mind open. No coulda, woulda and shoulda replays. No bitterness.  No resentment.

Forgiveness can work daily to release and renew the mind to move forward. Sometimes, it is, what it is; until it’s not.

Forgiveness helps to listen to the words and not react to the tone spoken. The Holy Spirit and spiritual fruit is required because the flesh can react to the tone.

So I celebrate choosing forgiveness as a beautiful release of emotions not meant to be carried.

Abundant blessings, my friends, enjoy your weekend and keep the faith. (smile)

Your comments or thoughts on forgiveness are welcome.

Celebrate Being F R E E

Total self-esteem requires total and unconditional acceptance of yourself. You are a unique and worthy individual, regardless of your mistakes, defeats and failures, despite what others may think, say or feel about you or your behavior.

If you truly accept and love yourself, you won’t have a driving need for attention and approval. Self-esteem is a genuine love of self. Stop all adverse value judging of yourself. Stop accepting the adverse value judgments of others. Purge yourself of all condemnation, shame, blame, guilt and remorse.
~ Unknown Author ~

I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
~ Psalm 139:14 ~

Hello friends. (smile) Welcome Lexa and co-hosts, L.G. Keltner @Writing Off The Edge and Tonja Drecker @Kidbits Blog, to another blessed Friday to celebrate the small things.

This week I celebrate being f r e e. Praise The Lord! Baby steps, prayer and faith, in The Lord, gave me victory over distractions and rhetoric. I thought I was free before.

We are not free when when a mole hill becomes a mountain. We are not free when someone’s hurtful words attack us. We are not free when we give it power to bother us.

When we know who we are in Christ; when we know our strengths and weaknesses; when we keep the faith; we eventually come to believe we are being f r e e in every area of life.

Being f r e e from angst.
Being f r e e from second guessing decisions.
No more coulda, woulda, shoulda. F r e e.
Being f r e e from strife.
Being f r e e from comparisons.
Being f r e e from ______________(fill in the blank).

See, there will always be someone saying something about nothing or causing angst. Bless them. Move on.  F r e e.

So this week, I’m totally f r e e, knowing that, at the end, of the day, God loves me, I have his mercy and his grace, regardless of others opinions or belief. Glory to God.

Abundant blessings my friends and enjoy your weekend being f r e e.

Best friend connections are heaven sent.

~ Romans 8:28~

Hello friends. (smile) Welcome Lexa and co-hosts, L.G. Keltner @Writing Off The Edge and Tonja Drecker @Kidbits Blog, to another blessed Friday to celebrate the small things.

Hope all is well in your world. This week, I celebrate life with all its ebbs and flows. Praise The Lord, I’m still blessed and standing.

Life, things and stuff, and the Y’s, of the world, will test us. Keep the faith, it’s all temporary to teach, change or heal something within us.

The wisdom of Romans 8:28 is that God can use all things to love us, teach us and move us forward. Keep the faith.

All things. Faith. Tests. Becomes a testimony to help someone going through. Sometimes, it is, what it is, until it’s not.

So I celebrate faith to enjoy life by remembering the blessings and forgetting the troubles. (wink)

Celebrate Keeping Hands Off

Experience is something you cannot learn from others, but only yourself.
~ Unknown Author ~

Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: by whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; and patience, experience; and experience, hope: and hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
~ Romans 5:1-5 ~

Hello friends. (smile) I’m a little late to the party! Welcome Lexa and co-hosts to another blessed Friday to celebrate the small things.

This week, I celebrate disappointments and keeping my hands off situations where God is working. No worries, all is well in my world.

Praise The Lord, for my experience going around the same mountain. (grin)

Experience is the best teacher.

There is something awesome about learning and knowing experience for ourselves.

There are times, the Lord leads us to sow encouragement, kindness, a word, a smile, lunch, a bus ticket, __________ (fill in the blank) to help someone.

Then there are times, someone may ask for help to circumvent something that God is doing in their life.

When God is working and need our help, he’ll let us know. Otherwise, we ‘re interfering. This is where pray is powerful and helpful.

Isn’t life grand (wink)

We live, we learn. Experience. Praise The Lord for his mercy and his grace.

There are some things we’ll never learn unless we crawl or walk through it. I like crawling through, its less energy. (smile)

Blessings my friends and enjoy the long holiday weekend!

Celebrate Potato Chips

Everyone smiles in the same language.
~ Unknown Author ~

Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.
~ Romans 14:19 ~

Hello friends. (smile) Happy Friday! Welcome Lexa and co-hosts to another blessed Friday to celebrate the small things.

This week I celebrate anything that brings a smile. (grin)

A little boy wanted to meet God. He knew it was a long trip to where God lived, so he packed his suitcase with a bag of potato chips and a six-pack of root beer and started his journey.

When he had gone about three blocks, he met an old woman. She was sitting in the park, just staring at some pigeons. The boy sat down next to her and opened his suitcase. He was about to take a drink from his root beer when he noticed that the old lady looked hungry, so he offered her some chips. She gratefully accepted it and smiled at him.

Her smile was so pretty that the boy wanted to see it again, so he offered her a root beer. Again, she smiled at him. The boy was delighted! They sat there all afternoon eating and smiling, but they never said a word.

As twilight approached, the boy realized how tired he was and he got up to leave; but before he had gone more than a few steps, he turned around, ran back to the old woman, and gave her a hug. She gave him her biggest smile ever.

When the boy opened the door to his own house a short time later, his mother was surprised by the look of joy on his face. She asked him, “What did you do today that made you so happy?” He replied, “I had lunch with God.” But before his mother could respond, he added, “You know what? She’s got the most beautiful smile I’ve ever seen!”

Meanwhile, the old woman, also radiant with joy, returned to her home. Her son was stunned by the look of peace on her face and he asked, “Mother, what did you do today that made you so happy?” She replied! “I ate potato chips in the park with God.” However, before her son responded, she added, “You know, he’s much younger than I expected.”

Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.

People come into our lives for a reason, a season, or a lifetime! Embrace all equally.

Have lunch with God, bring chips.
~Unknown Author ~

Blessings, my friends, as we enjoy today by faith and with a smile!

Celebrate Smiles

A smile costs nothing but gives much. It enriches those who receive without making poorer those who give. It takes but a moment, but the memory of it sometimes lasts forever.

None is so rich or mighty that he cannot get along without it and none is so poor that he cannot be made rich by it. Yet a smile cannot be bought, begged, borrowed, or stolen, for it is something that is of no value to anyone until it is given away.

Some people are too tired to give you a smile. Give them one of yours, as none needs a smile so much as he who has no more to give.
~ Unknown Author ~

Hello friends. (smile) Welcome Lexa and co-hosts to another blessed Friday to celebrate the small things.

This week, I celebrate smiles. Both giving and receiving smiles.

Thank you Lord for the beautiful gift and blessing of smiles.

There are times a smile can make us light up like a Christmas tree.

There are times, when pushed and tested, a smile can change our focus.

There are times, a thought brings a smile.

There are times, a smile disarms our enemies. (wink)

Wahoo, here is something to do. (grin)

Celebrate Seasons

When you open yourself to the continually changing, impermanent, dynamic nature of your own being. You’re able to keep your eyes open, your heart open, and your mind open, you begin to think of your life as offering endless opportunities to start to do things differently.
~ Unknown Author ~

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; a time to get, and a time to lose, a time to keep, and a time to cast away; a time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak, a time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

Celebrate Encouragement to One Another

Surround yourself with the dreamers and the doers, the believers and the thinkers. But most of all, surround yourself with those who see the greatness within you, even when you don’t see it yourself.~ Author Unknown ~

Hello friends. (smile) Welcome Lexa and co-hosts as we celebrate the small things this week. Encouragement to ourself and one another.
