Growth is A Part of Life

Whether we like it or not, growth is a part of life. God created us for relationships–with Him and each other. In this process of life, every change and challenge that we walk through brings growth that produces more fruit of the spirit–love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith meekness and temperance within us. Growth is finding humor and learning to be content until God promotes us to something else.

Growth is praising God instead of complaining. Growth is the moment we understand that the past does not define who we are today. Growth is forgiving past and present hurts. Growth is learning to enjoy life regardless. Growth is about adapting to differences. Growth is knowing that God is love and light. Anything and everything else is not. Growth is understanding that God gives “Free will to choose.”

As growth matures, and unconditional love is within, actions will draw us closer or drive us away. Growth realizes that actions speak louder than words, and preaching and constantly reminding about all the things that are wrong won’t encourage anyone anyway. Growth develops faith that in spite of the stuff in this world, God is and will always be in charge and His will be done.

To be continued….

Things happen

Everyday things happen. Some “things” can make life interesting depending on our perspective. Free will to choose can make us or break us. We have to take responsibility for our choices and keep moving forward.

God can use anything or anyone to help us grow. We never know who is watching us to see how we handle things.

Keep moving forward, God is in charge and He has what we need. 🙂

Romans 8:28. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
