Roll With It Wednesday

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
~ Philippians 4:19 ~

Live in such a way that you would not be ashamed to sell your parrot to the town gossip. ~Will Rogers~

Hello friends. (smile) It’s roll with it Wednesday with a little humor. (wink) My message is short and sweet today. (smile) Roll with it!

Roll with it is similar to careless and letting it go. (smile)

IMG_0684.JPG
By faith, God has equipped us for everything we need to crawl, walk or run through this day. Roll with it!

Have faith, He will give wisdom with the right words needed for that big meeting.
Have faith, He will give courage to speak up.
Have faith, He will open a door to new opportunities.
Have faith, He will work all things out.
Have faith, He will _________________ (fill in the blank)

Say it with me, roll with it! (smile)

Today, I have to stand and mediate on Philippians 4:19 as I roll with it. My dental work resumes this afternoon. (shock face) Bottom teeth this round.

Praise The Lord, He delivered me from fear of the dentist. I just have angst over those needles! Ugh. Roll with it!

Please join me, in prayer agreement, by faith that God will provide calmness to endure the needles. (nervous smile) I humbly thank you in advance! Praise The Lord.

Blessings my friends, by faith, as we roll with it today! (big smile)

Matthew 7:24-29, The Two Foundations

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
~ Galatians 5:22-23 ~

Hello friends. (smile) Rock or sand. Milk or meat. Spirit or flesh. Knowing The Word or doing The Word.

Choices. Free will to choose. Foundations. A relationship with God.

IMG_0715.JPG
Spiritual fruit and obedience are necessary to build a solid foundation to weather changes and or storms in life.

Spiritual strength and faith grows every single time when God walks us through things and stuff and X, Y and Z moments.

As spiritual fruit grows from within, there is such peace and freedom, that wherever we go, the presence of God is evident and His light shines. It’s a beautiful thing to behold. (smile)

It’s a beautiful thing when God builds the house.

It’s a beautiful thing to recognize our inner strength comes from Him.

It’s a beautiful thing to know who you are in Christ.

It’s a beautiful thing when we can see disappointments as God redirecting us to something better.

It’s a beautiful thing to adapt and adjust because God walked us through better than we were before.

It’s a beautiful thing to renew our mind and speak to the lies the enemy likes to replay.

Life will have ebbs and flow. Nothing and no one is perfect, except Jesus.

Recognize God equips us to weather and walk through anything because our faith and trust is in Him.

Blessings, my friends, as we recognize our house is built upon a rock. Praise The Lord! (smile)

I Said A Prayer Today

Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
~ Matthew 18:18-20 ~

Hello friends. (smile) The power of prayer is a beautiful thing to behold. Prayers are heartfelt words to God for family, friends, neighbors, coworkers, enemies, to name a few.

20140727-011009-4209006.jpg
Prayers give hope. Prayers give strength. Prayers give healing. Prayers give comfort. Prayers give life to dead bones walking.

Prayers are opportunities for God to provide blessings by way of breakthroughs.

Today, my friends, by faith, I’m praying for God to wrap His loving arms around us and strengthen us where we need it most.

For those who asked me to pray specific prayers, I’m praying for God to manifest healing after a serious surgery; property be sold; a job, a book deal, peaceful sleep, and courage to take that next step in rebuilding trust and reconciliation.

Thank you, Lord.

Blessings my friends as we continue to take everything to God in prayer and keep the faith in Him. (smile)

Courage

A successful person is one who can lay a firm foundation with the bricks that others throw at him or her.
~ David Brinkley ~

Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.
~ 1 Samuel 17:45 ~

Hello friends. (smile) I extend a heartfelt thank you to friends, my brothers and sisters, in Christ, who encourage me when I need it most. {{hugs}}

20140723-211320-76400264.jpg
We all need encouragement at times to keep moving forward. Sometimes, courage is born, out of challenging situations, by words of encouragement. Faith. Have courage by faith.

As courage grows, you’ll feel like David with a slingshot and the full presence of The Lord to defeat every Goliath. (wink)

Yesterday, my buttons were pushed early. My flesh man had enough! (shock face) I had to go outside to work on my frustration and my attitude. It’s rough when the encourager can’t encourage herself out of a box. (gritted teeth smile)

I learned yesterday that if I entertain just one negative thought, others follow, and then I get so fired up about everything else negative that it’s not pretty. (shock face)

Patience and long-suffering. I am being pruned for more spiritual fruit!

It’s a beautiful thing when God shows up. My spirit was quicken and I thought of David and Goliath. I walked back in the building armed with the whole armor of God and my imaginary slingshot! Confident in God having my back. The rest of the day was a breeze. (smile)

Thank you Lord for your mercy and your grace. (smile)

I share this to encourage someone to have courage and watch God walk you through the situation! Keep the faith. (smile)

Blessings, my friends and enjoy your day with confidence in God! (smile)

Laughter

Its true that laughter really is cheap medicine. It’s a prescription anyone can afford. And best of all, you can fill it right now.
~ Unknown Author ~

Hello friends. (smile) It’s a beautiful thing to smile and enjoy a deep down in your belly laugh. (smile)

Laughter, sometimes, reminds us to lighten up! Enjoy life. Have fun. Roll with it. (cheesy smile)

Yes, it can be hard to laugh, when we’re going through things and stuff or Y is working that last nerve. (shock face)

Ever notice, how God can send someone to bring a smile or tell us something to make us laugh, before the flesh man makes an appearance? Many days, I’ve thanked Him for his timing and His grace. (smile)

I laughed so hard the first time I saw the phase “Not my Circus, not my monkeys.” I see this as a reminder to mind our own business. (shock face) Pray, let go and let God.

I’ve learned that people ask when they want input! Free will to choose.

Blessed

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
~ Romans 8:28 ~

Hello friends. (smile) We are truly blessed. Regardless, of the season, we are walking through, we’re blessed.

I used to dread Mondays until I realized I’m blessed to see Mondays. (shock face) Ain’t life grand! (wink and a smile)

Sure, there maybe times that things and stuff or fill in the blank________________, causes angst, nevertheless, keep the faith that God has a plan and it’s something better. (smile)

20140615-225856-82736349.jpg
He can use all things to bring about our spiritual growth. (gritted teeth smile)

Recently, I had a few disappointments and another betrayal. I cried while praying, I thanked God that I was still standing and was blessed with more fruit of long-suffering and self control for my trouble! (shock face)

No worries, all is right in my world. Praise The Lord. (smile)

Sometimes, pain and hurt forces change. Learn to put things at the foot of the cross period.

No talking about woulda, coulda, shoulda. Chose to recognize that we blessed and God is in charge.

The process of spiritual growth becomes easier when we surrender.

How about you, what are your thoughts on spiritual growth? Inquiring minds want to know. (smile)

Today, regardless, of things and stuff or X, Y or Z, smile because you are blessed! (smile)

He…

It’s the little details that are vital. Little things make big things happen.~John Wooden ~

Great scriptures for meditation. (smile) Great scriptures to speak and replace bad thoughts. There will be days when speaking the Word out loud can change the focus. The power of words and what we tell ourself.

Sometimes, remembering not to entertain negative and bad thoughts, by speaking and replacing with positive and kind words, breaks the cycle of emotions and questioning how did I get here moments. (shock face)

It takes just one wrong thought to change a good mood. Renewing the mind, one thought at a time, helps the cycle of emotions! Sometimes, God will bless us by leading us to read something or hear something to let us know He is with us! He may even use someone. (smile)

20140409-222034.jpg
Here’s a short and beautiful testimony of mine. Awhile back, I was singing a song hard, I mean out loud and with feeling. (cheesy smile) I shared with you before that I talk to The Lord all the time. About everything.

When I was singing the song, one line in the song is “so say you love me.” I spoke out loud to The Lord, I know you love me, so say you love me. Just say it. I laughed and went on about my business. (smile)

The next day, my friend was coming to work and out of no where, she heard God say tell Ann, I love her. Well at this point, she felt like, she already knows that, she will think I am crazy. (smile) Unbeknown to either of us, that day, we learned just how God can use open vessels, anytime, anywhere and our choice of obedience. Glory to God!

She started to compose an email message but never got to finish it because God led me to her. We started talking then she said, I have to tell you something and don’t think I’m crazy or snap I already know that. I agreed. When she said God told me to tell you He loves you. I was stunned and she was curious. (smile)

I laughed and explained about the night before and the song. (smile) See she thought she could email the message. As we talked about it, she realized she had to say His words to me not write them for me to know He answered my request. (smile) My relationship grew rapidly with Him from that point forward because He answered me up close and personal. No one knew what I said to Him! (smile)

We both got a huge lesson in faith and obedience that day, as well as, how God can communicate to us through others. It was a powerful and beautiful experience with The Lord that strengthen our faith in God and helped a few others who heard the story! We are in Virginia, that story made it all the way to Georgia! (smile)

Sometimes, when we’re going through stuff, we forget all the previous times He came through for us. Keep the faith! Pray!

So be blessed, my friends, and know He is always with us! (smile) As always, your comments are welcome. (smile)

Faith and Trust In God Will Build

Faith and trust, in God, will build every single time. (smile) There is nothing to hard for God!

Another illustration of Romans 8:28, And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

God bless us, by faith, as we trust you every single time. Let thy will be done.

Trials and Tribulations – Pray and Let Go

Challenges. Troubles. Things. Also known as trials and tribulations. (gritted teeth smile) At some point, we endure trials and tribulations on top of our stuff. (shock face) The good news is that God never gives us more than we can bear. We must pray and give it to God. Cast it, by faith, and let God work on our behalf. (smile)
20130916-220725.jpg
Here’s the thing, don’t take it back! Keep our hands off. (nervous smile) This means no talking about it! No worrying about it! No asking somebody, “What do you think?” Let go and Let God.

As a good friend, of mine, likes to say “leave it, at the foot, of the cross.” (smile) Friends, we must find little ways to renew our mind during trials and tribulations and things and stuff! Spoiler alert–I use things and stuff, as another way to fill in the blank. (wink and a smile) Besides, it gives us something to do–think. Smile, we must keep our sense of humor!

We are all working through something, right? Sometimes, we may feel compelled to help. Don’t. Have faith. Practice the pause and pray. Roll with it. Sing a song. Praise The Lord, each time the mind wonders. Sometimes, just talk to Him, be honest, He already knows what we’re thinking. Ask Him, what am I missing Lord? Many times, we just need to crawl or walk through it. (smile)

Finding little things that work. (smile) I share this because the Holy Spirit taught me various little things, through the years, that helped to renew my mind. Thats where I got the ๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽถgoing around the mountain one more time๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽถ it was my theme song for awhile. (shock face) Glory to God!

God bless and equipped us, by faith, as we give our things and stuff to You. Let thy will be done.

7 Rules of Life

๐ŸŽถHappy Monday to ya๐ŸŽถ ๐Ÿ˜œ By faith, let the joy of The Lord be our strength today!

20130804-214523.jpg

Everyone has a story. God knows what it takes to move us forward to grow. Until we realize change is an individual thing; ๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽถwe’ll be going around the mountain, one more time๐ŸŽถ. ๐Ÿ˜ฉ

We have to keep our sense of humor! ๐Ÿ˜œ Stuff happens, how we chose, to deal with it, shows our growth.

Here’s the thing, some stuff weights us down and should be released to God. God is the only one who can change and heal a heart! Stuff keeps us stuck. Let it go. ๐Ÿ˜ฐ

We must learn to be ourselves! ๐Ÿ˜œ God loves you! Ain’t nobody like you! ๐Ÿ˜€

In a sense, these 7 Rules sum up Philippians 4:13 – I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me and Romans 8:28 – And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who,are the called according to his purpose.

I especially like Rule #2 and #7. ๐Ÿ˜œ What are yours?

God bless you! ๐Ÿ˜€

May God Surprise You Today

20130722-184937.jpg

Smile, it looks good on you!! ๐Ÿ˜œ

Slice of Heaven….

Today, may God’s will be done by crossing our paths with someone who needs what we have and someone who has what we need.

20130605-203344.jpg

God bless us as we continue to move forward. ๐Ÿ˜œ

Always Pray

Another prayer to use as we grow to love like Jesus does. Let us remember growth is a life long process. Sometimes we stumble and are not loving, yet God continues to love us anyway. Maybe, when we can all love as Jesus loves….oh, the possibilities!

20130527-193635.jpg

1 Corinthians 13:4-8 (NKJV) – Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 8 Love never fails.

God bless you!

Forgive 70 Times 7

We are to forgive 70 times 7.ย  We must be spirit led, and have the fruit of spirit, to pull off the ability to forgive 70 times 7.ย  (shock face)

We must be rooted and grounded in love and the Word of God. Forgive anyone 70 times 7, and forgive ourselves 70 times 7.

20130517-214526.jpg

What are your thoughts?

We All Need Encouragement

We all need encouragement. Times are tough. Young or old, we need to encourage one another. There are times that an encouraging word, a thoughtful gesture, or even a smile can encourage someone to keep moving forward or change the thoughts going through the mind. There are times, in the Christian walk that encouragement keeps us moving forward and standing in faith.

20130516-211926.jpg

Some are experiencing, life changing things, for the first time in live–job loss, family estrangement, end of a relationship, health issues, death of a love one, mid life crisis, and any other something that an encouraging word brings comfort, peace, the ability to move forward.

God knows we all struggle with something. We are still growing and maturing in this process of life. Somedays, we get discouraged or frustrated. In those times, we can thank God when he leads someone to us or us to someone that will speak the encouraging words needed, as well as, searching through the Book of Psalms for inspiration. Psalm 147:3 – He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.

God’s timing is always right on time. (smile) So let us encourage one another as we keep moving forward. (smile) So be blessed and thank God, we made it to Friday!

It’s Another Roll With It Wednesday

Wahoo, it’s roll with it Wednesday! We can smile and roll with it, by faith, that God has this day under control. (wink)
We can smile and roll with it because whether someone love us, God does.

We can smile and roll with it because we are renewing our mind and thinking better thoughts.

We can smile and roll with it because we are blessed and highly favored.

We can smile and roll with it because it is, what it is and God is in charge.

20130514-214721.jpg
We can smile and roll with it because if God is for us, who can be against us.

We can smile and roll with it because God does not give us more than we can bear.

We can smile and roll with it because God heals the hurts and we know that this too shall pass.

We can smile and roll with it because Romans 8:28 tells us “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose”.

So regardless, of what we see, we can smile and move forward because God is working all things out and we just have to wait on the manifestation of it. Praise The Lord! (smile)

So lets smile and roll with it, and if we must, sing a song! (wink) God bless us, as we keep moving forward.

Talk and Think About The Good Stuff

Today, let us break the habit of talking and thinking about our problems or negative stuff. Instead, let us talk and think about the good stuff and the joy in our life. And if we must, sing a song! ๐Ÿ˜œ

20130513-195134.jpg

All good things come from God. God loves us unconditionally. God will never leave us or forsake us. God provides for our needs. God blesses us. God gives us life. God protects us. God heals. The joy of The Lord is our strength. God is always in charge. The list can go on and on.

So what brings you joy? Have the courage to share. ๐Ÿ˜€

God Made Us Different

Everyday that God blesses us with life is an opportunity to sow love and kindness to people around us. Especially those who are different. We all can relate to different.

Sometimes different can balance us. Sometimes different makes us grow. Sometimes different is free will to choose. Sometimes different does not know any better. Sometimes different is lost. Sometimes different needs Jesus. Sometimes, we don’t know the journey of different.

20130513-041836.jpg
Just because we are different does not mean we can’t learn something new from one another. We must learn to adapt to different and recognize that actions speak louder than words and our actions can lead different to Jesus.

When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: and before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: for I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: for I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.

Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
~ Matthew 25:31-46~

Proverbs 23:23, Buy The Truth

Source Proverbs 23 article from letgodbetrue.com

We should buy four things today, and no store carries them. They are truth, wisdom, instruction, and understanding. Do we want them? What will we pay for them?

There is only one way to buy something – pay for it. So buying the truth requires paying a price for it. All buying requires ranking our desires, for no man can afford everything. We spend our limited resources by the priorities we set. And here Solomon tells us to put truth, wisdom, instruction, and understanding at the top of the list. (Pr 4:5 – Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth). (Proverbs 4:7 – Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding).

And once we buy truth, do not sell it to anyone – keep it. Others will offer to buy it from us. How? By offering us pleasure or distraction in exchange for truth. Solomon tells us not to give these four back to anyone for any amount. (Proverbs 3:18 – She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her.) (Proverbs 4:13 – Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life).
20130509-180113.jpg
What is the cost? Truth will cost us friends, remember free will to choose. (Proverbs 13:20 – He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed). Wisdom will cost us ease, for only fools believe and do anything they wish. Instruction will cost us pride, for we must accept correction from others. And understanding will cost us peace, for we will know the world’s insanity. (Ecclesiastes 1:18 – For in much wisdom is much grief: and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow.)

Are there other costs? Yes, pleasure steals time for learning, so we give up some of it. Riches steal time, for we must work extra in our vain effort to get them. Give up the foolish notion of being rich. (Proverbs 3:13-14 – Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding. For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold).

(Proverbs 8:10 – Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold). (Proverbs 8:19 – My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold; and my revenue than choice silver.) (Proverbs 16:16 – How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver!)

These four things come by dedication and diligent labor. so we will have to pay the price of effort and time. (Proverbs 2:1-9 – My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee; So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding; 3 Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding; If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures;

Then shalt thou understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God. 6 For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding. He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly. He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of his saints. Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea, every good path). (Proverbs 18:1 – Through desire a man, having separated himself, seeketh and intermeddleth with all wisdom).

If we divide these words by their slight differences in meaning, we might be able to see the following definitions.

Truth: right, honest, and real knowledge about any subject.
Wisdom: prudent ability to discern and to know what is right.
Instruction: directions and teaching from others wiser than you.
Understanding: comprehending the value and use of truth and wisdom.

Proverbs was inspired to sell these four things, and one of the prices for buying them is to read it often. A chapter of Proverbs a day fits the calendar and will teach us much. So read and apply it daily (action of buying), and make it a habit (action of not selling).

Abundant blessings, my friends, because the just shall live by faith. Praise The Lord.

Ugh, It’s Monday

Ever struggle with Mondays? Choose to stay positive. It’s easier to smile knowing God is in charge regardless of what we see ๐Ÿ˜œ

20130505-224104.jpg

Rain or shine, God bless you and keep moving forward ๐Ÿ˜œ

Energy, What Do You Attract

What energy do you attract? Life gets busy. Things get hectic. Never enough time. Too many distractions. People. God uses various ways and people in our growth process. Let’s face it, any combination of things or people can drain our energy. A good day or a bad day results from the energy we release So be positive!

20130501-220044.jpg

Sometimes, we just need to breathe before speaking or smile and say nothing. Have faith and lean on God because He never gives us more than we can bear. God is always in charge!

Smile and stay positive, it repels negativity (smile) Keep moving forward!

Hebrews 11:6, But Without Faith

Hebrews 11:6 – But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

20130426-023533.jpg

Let us keep moving forward by faith, knowing that God is in charge and has prepared us for the blessings of this day!

Love is

Love is a commandment. Mark 12:30-31 says “And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. 31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these”.

We love God โœ…. We love thy neighbor as thy self โš . Whoops a ๐Ÿšฉ on the play–some of us don’t like ourselves ๐Ÿ˜ฐ which hinders love. We have listened and told ourselves, so many things, that we want this or need that to ______________. Some of us are looking for love in all the wrong places (another song to add to our repertoire) ๐Ÿ˜œ when all we need is Jesus. This is where the rubber meets the road for us and our choices. We sometimes forget, once upon a time, we didn’t know love. Sow love and God will water.

God loves us! Until we love ourselves, it can be quite difficult for those who love us. Thank God for the power of prayer๐Ÿ™ and the leading of the Holy Spirit–for those of us in relationships where one expresses love so different that we feel compelled to pray more, hang in there, God is in charge and will give us grace to love as he loves and keep moving forward.

To be continued….

Ezekiel 36:26 – A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

Mark 12:30-31 – And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. 31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

Romans 5:1-5 – Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: 2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; 4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope: 5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

1 Corinthians 13:3-13 (NKJV) – 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing. 4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 8 Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away. 11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 12 For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known. 13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

Matthew 7:20, Wherefore By Their Fruits

Matthew 7:20 – Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Let us thank God, we are not where we used to be. Fruitless. ๐Ÿ˜€ Once upon a time, we had no fruit. ๐Ÿ˜จ Once upon a time, we built someone up or torn someone down. Ah, to look back and remember gives glory to God that we can be witnesses of Christ today because our fruit (๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ‡๐ŸŠ๐Ÿ) is evident because we are doers of The Word.

People make the world go round. We can thank God and the people in our lives that help us grow and keep us moving forward. ๐Ÿ˜€

John 16:33, Peace

John 16:33 – These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Living in these times is a challenge. Things happen, good or bad, it will always be God’s will be done.

We have free will to choose–a positive or negative moment. The choice is ours to make. So let us, praise God, and keep moving forward ๐Ÿ˜ƒ. Some of us, may need to “sing a song” and just “roll with it” to move forward today. ๐Ÿ˜›

Philippians 4:13, I Can Do All Things

Philippians 4:13 – I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me.

Praise God, we’re blessed to see another Monday. Let’s choose to smile and keep moving forward because God loves us, we walk by faith, and we believe Romans 8:28 – And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Have a great and blessed Monday ๐Ÿ˜ƒ God is always in charge ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

When You Know Who You Are

We love The Lord!! It’s a beautiful thing when we are rooted and grounded in the Word of God and know God through his Son Jesus. (smile) Trust us, when we say, there is freedom, when you know who you are in Christ. (smile)

It shows in the way we carry ourselves, the things we speak about–when we trust in God, we know – Romans 8:28-39 –

28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. 29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. 31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? 33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth. 34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

20130420-181519.jpg

God is in the people business. It’s about showing love and kindness to those in need. It’s about reaching those who don’t know Him or that He loves them. It’s about loving one another in spite of our free will to choose differently.

It’s about showing Jesus to a lost world. It’s about saving souls.

Christians are in this world but not of this world. We are the salt and the lightgiving all the glory to God–They will know us by our actions and speech. When we know God deeply, there are things, we just don’t do because our actions speak for us. (smile)

Can we get an Amen and keep moving forward (smile) God bless us all (smile)

Matthew 10:32-33 – Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. 33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

Matthew 25:1-46 – Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. 2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. 3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: 4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. 5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.

6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. 7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. 8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. 9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.

10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. 11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. 12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. 13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh. 14 For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods.

15 And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey. 16 Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents. 17 And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two. 18 But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord’s money. 19 After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them. 20 And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more. 21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

22 He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them. 23 His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. 24 Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed: 25 And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine.

26 His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed: 27 Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury. 28 Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents. 29 For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath. 30 And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory. 32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: 33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:

36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. 37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? 38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? 39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? 40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: 42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: 43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. 44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? 45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. 46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

Mark 8:38 – Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.”

1 John 5:1-8 – Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him. 2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. 3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. 4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? 6 This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth. 7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. 8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

Choose To Praise, Trust and Thank God

Starting today, let us choose to Praise God, Trust God, and Thank God, as we crawl, walk or run, through the thing, that we are going through–remembering–Romans 8:28 says “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose”.

20130420-071244.jpg

Sometimes, God just wants us to walk through the thing by faithtrusting Him–because it is already done–We just have to wait on the manifestation of the thing. Let us also remember God will never leave us or forsake us; God is present everywhere; and God is in charge. This is more than enough to keep us moving forward.

Please feel free to add your thoughts ๐Ÿ™‚

Psalm 139:7-12
7 Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? 8 If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. 9 If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; 10 Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me. 11 If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me. 12 Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee.

Thank You

Free Will to Choose (Con’t From Words Have Power Part 1)

This is the continuation to the “Words have power” post. We surrendered to the Holy Spirit in preparing this word of the day ๐Ÿ™‚ God gives us free will to choose. He made all of us different. So we express things differently. Some of us like to argue, find fault about this or that, sing the woe is me song, ego issues, pride issues, bitterness and unforgiveness in our hearts, selfishness, the key is to adapt and love anyway until we choose Jesus.

The Word of God tells us in Matthew 7:1-5–Judge not, that ye be not judged. 2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. 3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? 4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? 5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye. Which brings us back to adapting to the differences whether we like or agree and accepting our free will to choose.

20130417-223526.jpg

Some of us, can find all kinds of distractions to keep from taking responsibility for our choices and refuse to adapt to others. Again, free will to choose. Let’s face it, we all think what we think regardless of what someone says. This would be the time to pray and give it to God. God is the only one who can validate the truth or open eyes to a thing. Sometimes, we don’t know any better, until we get tired of that same mountain and reach out to God. My BFF, likes to say “Look, I can go with the flow but if the flow is going in the wrong direction, I can’t go”. Courage, we need courage to speak up when necessary about the Gospel and share what God through his Son Jesus has done for us. When we are going through stuff, we get embarrassed or fearful of what others will think… So this is when God needs us to speak up and share that what he has done for us, he can do for them.

As Christians, we are watched all the time on the way we handle life. So until someone notices our actions are different, we choose to be doers of the word.

Many of us are comfortable with status qua; but God, through the leading of the Holy Spirit gives courage and boldness to us on what to say at the exact moment it is needed.

Hebrews 4:12 say “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

Jesus is love and light. There is no darkness in him. Got fruit? ๐Ÿ˜€ We need to choose Jesus to have the fruits of the spirit and the Holy Spirit within us–this brings to mind, the scripture from Hosea 4: 6 –My people perish from a lack of knowledge. We must know God and what His word says for ourselves. We must be able to speak to situations in love and as children of God, learn to adapt to others, who may or may not agree with us and vice versa. How he or she expresses themselves is their free will to choose. We all have a story…once upon a time, we were the same way, until someone sowed words of love and showed us Jesus ๐Ÿ™‚ Sometimes, we are not ready to change. The Book of Job is a good read to get a better perspective on loss and questioning God.

Living in the 21st century, with technology rapidly growing and differing ways to communicate, we must pray for ways to reach out to those living with fear, anger or guilt, not to mention those who are just plain lost and ready to believe the lies of the enemy because they think this is what they deserve; those who stay in a relationship because they are afraid to be alone; those with deep anger because their spouse left; or they lost their job. We have to educate our children, who are our future leaders, about character and morals, integrity and respect. As Christians, it must start with us. There are hurt folks all around us that we never see because of our own stuff. When we can love as Jesus does, we can reach out and show all of those someones who don’t know John 3:16–For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. And let them know that God loves them. Although times have changed, God and his Word remain the same. In the beginning, was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Everyday when we know the Word of God for ourselves renews our minds, that change our thoughts that change our actions. As children of God, with the fruits of the Spirit (love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance) and guided by the Holy Spirit, we have opportunities to show Jesus to those around us, by the way, we respond to challengesโ€“-and distractionsโ€“ God gets the glory.

Choose to sow kindness to those around usโ€“-and trust that Gods will be done.

We are the light of the world and they will know us by our fruit. Its about being a witness for Jesus. Praise God! He is awesome in every way and worthy to be praised. ๐Ÿ˜€ Keep speaking the word and keep moving forward. ๐Ÿ™‚

As always, we welcome your comments ๐Ÿ™‚

Joshua 24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

Mark 7:21-23 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, 22 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: 23 All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.

Mark 12:29 -31 And Jesus answered him, (Moses) the first of all commandments is, Hear, O Israel, The Lord our God is one Lord: and thou shall love The Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandant. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

John 1-1:14 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believe to in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

John 6:63 It is the spirit that quicken; the flesh profit nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

John 7:17 :18 If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself. 18 – He that speaketh of himself seek etch his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.

John 8:23:24 And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world. 24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.

John 8:31-34 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; 32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. 33 They answered him, We be Abraham’s seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free? 34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.

Acts 2:38-39 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as The Lord our God shall call.

Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Romans 8:16-18 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17. And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. 18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

Romans 13:2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Galatians 6:6-9 Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things. 7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. 9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

Ephesians 2:2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

Ephesians 2:7-10 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Ephesians 6:11-18 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

Colossians 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

2 Thessalonians 1:8-9 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: 9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of The Lord, and from the glory of his power.

1 Timothy 4:1-2 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

James 3:10 Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.

1 Peter 3:15-17 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ. For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing.

1 John 2:15:17 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof; but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

1 John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

1 John 4:2 Hereby know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God.

1 John 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

1 John 4:6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God hearth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

1 John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Let Go

Have faith to let go, and let God keep us moving forward.

Philippians 4:8 – Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me.

Be A Friend

Let us be a friend to someone in need today.

20130413-064341.jpg

There is lots going on in our lives. Today, let us set aside our stuff for that someone who has lost a love one; someone with nothing to eat; someone with no place to stay; someone who does not know that God loves them in spite of what their mind is telling them. Today, someone needs us to just be a friend. We can move forward in our stuff tomorrow…if The Lord says the same.

God bless us to being a friend to someone in need today. {{{hugs}}}

It’s Roll with it Tuesday

It’s “roll with it” Tuesday ๐Ÿ™‚ because we know by faith and trust in God, at the end of this beautiful day, God’s will be done. We have grace and mercy for any challenge. We have security that He loves us. We have His Word to guide us should we need to speak to a situation. We have His ear to hear our prayers. We have His wisdom and knowledge to be brilliant on our jobs.

20130409-022145.jpg

We have joy because it is my strength. We know that all things work together for good to them that love God, and to them who are called according to his purpose. We know I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. We know we have the full armor of God to stand against the wiles of the devil and we have His protection.

We can Praise The Lord as we keep moving forward whether we laugh, smile or cry today because God is in charge and has provided for our needs. So smile, laugh or cry and “roll with it” ๐Ÿ˜€

Words Have Power

Words have power. Throughout the generations, from childhood to adulthood, words spoken to us (to include the people who raised us and the people who raised them) helped shape our perceptions about ourselves, relationships, life decisions and God.

Words have the power to build up or tear down; words leave scars, shattered hearts or broke spirits. Young or old, to experience anything, not of love, results in emotional problems; bad behavior; wrong decisions; hating ourselves; immaturity; envy; jealously; anger; rage; lack of trust or respect; control issues; low self esteem; insecurities; fear; shame; abandonment; manipulation; selfishness; and substance abuse–the list can go on and on to include pride. Some hurts are so deep, there is cement around the heart; masks are worn to hide what is really underneath.

Throughout the generations, to include people in the bible, everyone has a story that they could tell. The bible is a blueprint for life. God love us first.

20130407-002927.jpg

Bottom line, issues that come up in relationships stem from words spoken to children who grow into adults speaking the very words spoken to them. We can’t give what we never had. Everybody wants to be loved. Depending on the words we carry within us, that are not of love, every relationship will force us to take responsibility for our choices. When we run or leave–instead of walking through the process, we will continue to attract that person who has our same issues and ugh, it is not pretty.

All of us have baggage or brokenness in some area of our lives until we choose Jesus. The lies we grow up believing is that we have to be perfect. We have to look a certain way for someone to love us. We usually end up settling for less than God’s best because everybody else has someone and we don’t want to be alone.

Nobody is perfect except Jesus. The folks who raised us did the best that they knew how and like us today, just “didn’t know any better.” Things happen–our marriage becomes strained; we’re about to be divorce again; we’re stuck due to a death of a loved one; we’re paralyzed by something or someone–these same things happen from generations before us and continue to this day, to include more because of the technology in the 21st century and things are evolving.

The truth is–we just don’t know any better until Jesus shows us how. God has a plan for each of us. When we’re ready, He opens our eyes and ears and He speaks to us.

God has always been in charge, in John 16:33, He says “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world”. So fear not, because by faith, it is already done. ๐Ÿ™‚

His Word is the truth yesterday, today and tomorrow and the day after…His Word never changes.

When we choose Jesus, God changes us putting the fruits of the spirit: love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith in us. Basically, He is replacing anything not of love and opening our hearts. Changing us from glory to glory. It’s a beautiful thing to love people like God loves us.

To be like Jesus is a life long process. We die daily to our flesh man and our inner spirit man grows stronger with the help of the Holy Spirit that resides in us. As God prunes and plucks, our outsides begin to shine because God is filling the holes on the inside. We shine like new pennies ๐Ÿ™‚ We start to see life from His eyes. We can love as He loves. We can speak words that lift up, build up and encourage. We are able to broaden our perspective on everything, to include adapting to one another and accepting we may not agree but we can still get along. We become “doers” of the word. We speak life into our relationships and situations to break those still in bondage because they don’t know any better.

Things happen but we keep moving forward as God continues to show His presence all around us.

Everyday things happen. Some “things” can make life interesting depending on our perspective. Free will to choose can make us or break us. We have to take responsibility for our choices and keep moving forward.

God can use anything or anyone to help us grow. We never know who is watching us to see how we handle things.

Back in 2005, someone had sent me the potato chips and God story that just flows with today’s word bless ๐Ÿ™‚

A little boy wanted to meet God. He knew it was a long trip to where God lived, so he packed his suitcase with a bag of potato chips and a six-pack of root beer and started his journey.

When he had gone about three blocks, he met an old woman. She was sitting in the park, just staring at some pigeons. The boy sat down next to her and opened his suitcase. He was about to take a drink from his root beer when he noticed that the old lady looked hungry, so he offered her some chips. She gratefully accepted it and smiled at him. Her smile was so pretty that the boy wanted to see it again, so he offered her a root beer. Again, she smiled at him. The boy was delighted! They sat there all afternoon eating and smiling, but they never said a word.

As twilight approached, the boy realized how tired he was and he got up to leave; but before he had gone more than a few steps, he turned around, ran back to the old woman, and gave her a hug. She gave him her biggest smile ever.

When the boy opened the door to his own house a short time later, his mother was surprised by the look of joy on his face. She asked him, “What did you do today that made you so happy?”

He replied, “I had lunch with God.” But before his mother could respond, he added, “You know what? She’s got the most beautiful smile I’ve ever seen!”

Meanwhile, the old woman, also radiant with joy, returned to her home. Her son was stunned by the look of peace on her face and he asked, “Mother, what did you do today that made you so happy?” She replied! “I ate potato chips in the park with God.” However, before her son responded, she added, “You know, he’s much younger than I expected.”

Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around. People come into our lives for a reason, a season, or a lifetime! Embrace all equally!

Have lunch with God…….bring chips.

Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Psalm 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

Scams

My fellow bloggers, please join me in praying for all the single men and women duped by scams on the Internet.
Thank you Lord Jesus for giving me the courage to reach out to Saints in prayer for all single men and women duped by scams via the Internet. It is my faith that you can touch all of us to unite in prayer giving all single men and women out there the peace and dignity to move on without anyone’s judgement. It is unfortunate that it happened and it is our prayer that you move in a mighty way to heal and love us through this unfortunate time. Lead us to open up and not carry the burden. Lead us to forgive so we can move on, in Jesus name, I pray, Amen

Forgive, Forgiven and Forgiveness

The ability or choice to forgive, be forgiven and offer forgiveness requires a spiritual connection and grace from God. We can all relate that in life, stuff happens and each of us has a story we could tell.

Forgiveness is for us–let go of (fill in the blank) and let God! Some things we hold onto keeps us from moving forward. Keeps us stuck! Let it go, release it to God by faith and watch what He will do.

When God is taking us through the fiery furnace, molding and shaping to put the fruits of the spirit in us so that we are more like His Son Jesus; let’s just say, He gets His way eventually ๐Ÿ™‚ sooner or later we get tired of going around the same mountain.

There are vile and horrible things happening all around us to people who don’t know God or that He loves them. As children of God, we are to show them God–through our life style, speech–the fruits of the spirit and none of this is possible if we can’t forgive.

God takes care of those who mistreat His children.

God is always in charge. He is always the same.

Change

Sometimes we don’t like change. Change requires moving forward in spite of the challenge to remain still. When you let go and let God, change can be a beautiful thing ๐Ÿ™‚
