Celebrate TGIF

Appreciate the Unexpected.
~ Anonymous ~

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
~ Romans 8:28 ~

Hello friends. (smile) Welcome Lexa and co-hosts to another blessed Friday to celebrate the small things.

This week, I celebrate TGIF. Had a couple of emotional days. I refuse to beat myself up over it. Grace. Thank God for grace.

No worries, all is well in my world. (wink)

Things have a way of working out. Especially by keeping the faith.

How was your week? (smile)

Faith to Practice The Pause

Don’t let people drive you crazy when you know it’s in walking distance.
~Author Unknown~

(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
~ 2 Corinthians 5:7 ~

Hello friends. (smile) I require lots of faith, lots of deep breathing and God’s mercy and grace for Mondays. (shock face)

Praise The Lord, Monday’s are easier to bear. Just not my favorite day.

Faith to practice the pause.

So faith to practice the pause is appropriate today. Wahoo, something to do! (ha)

Breaking the day into moments work wonders at the circus.

Having faith in increments allow breathing to stay steady state. Grace is needed when hungry.

When the little darlings start pushing buttons, breathe and practice the pause.

When unscheduled meetings pop up, breathe and practice the pause.

When _________________(fill in the blank) breathe and practice the pause.

There are times, laughter helps. (grin)

Blessings friends, as we have faith and fun, to breathe and practice the pause today. (smile)

Feel free to share your thoughts on practice the pause. (smile)

Thought

Even the most negative thoughts cannot agitate something call Faith!
~ Unknown Author ~

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
~ Philippians 4:8 ~

Hello friends. (smile) Hope you had a great weekend. I hung out with a friend nursing a broken heart. Some of us have this experience on our resume of life.

I praised The Lord for His presence and answering my prayers this weekend.

This post marks the birth of my first blog poem. Thank God for courage.

Entertaining one pesky thought can lead to many pesky thoughts.

Some thoughts overwhelm. Some thoughts torment.

There are times, thoughts are help by words spoken haphazardly.

There are times, comments are internalized that cause pesky thoughts to surface.

Faith to think on things that are true and positive. Grace to cover everything else.

Blessings friends as we start the week with faith and grace abounding.

Your comments or thoughts are welcome.

Challenges

A successful person is one who can lay a firm foundation with the bricks that others throw at him or her.
~ David Brinkley ~

For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, the just shall live by faith.
~ Romans 1:17 ~

Hello friends. (smile) Keep the faith to crawl or walk through challenges.

Some challenges are temporary.  Some challenges are long suffering.Challenges teach us something.  Challenges make us stronger.

There is grace for when we stumble.

Praise The Lord.

Pause and deeply breathe through challenges by faith. (wink)

Smile and say nothing, it disarms critics.  (grin)

Abundant blessings and enjoy today.

Comments are always welcome.

Celebrate The Small Things, 19 June 2015

God never leads us where he cannot keep us. His grace is always sufficient for us in any and every circumstance of life.
~ Author Unknown ~

And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
~ 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 ~

Hello friends. (smile) Welcome Lexa and co-hosts as we celebrate the small things this week.

I celebrate the blessing of God’s amazing grace that walked me through this week.

Grace for the woulda, coulda, shoulda. (wink)

Grace to run the race. Wahoo, something to do. (smile)

Praise The Lord.

All is well in my world. (smile) I pray the same for my friends and my enemies.

Blessings, my friends, as we bask in God’s amazing grace and keep the faith throughout the weekend!

Feel free to share your thoughts and comments.

G is for…

The will of God will never take you, where the grace of God cannot keep you.
~ Unknown Author ~

But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
2 Corinthians 9:6-7 ~

And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
~ 2 Corinthians 12:8-9 ~

Hello friends. (smile) Spiritual growth is a lifelong process. Years ago, I was genuinely shocked when I realized spiritual growth never stops. There is always something to learn.

Spiritual fruit continues to grow and replace anything not of love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance, with the guiding of the Holy Spirit, within us.

Praise The Lord for his grace. Grace is given daily. We have grace even when we stumble. Grace frees us from condemnation or berating ourself for mistakes. Its all part of growing and learning.

Gratitude and giving to others keep us humble and gives glory to God.

Blessings, my friends, as we live today in God’s amazing grace, by faith and enjoy the H to Z challenge! (smile)

Feel free to share your thoughts.

IWSG Giving It No Power

2015/01/img_0340-2.jpg
Listen to life, it is the wisest teacher of all.
~ Author Unknown ~

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
~ Hebrews 4:16 ~

Hello friends. (smile) Giving it no power is the encouragement today and boldly obtaining God’s mercy and grace for the it moments.

It can be anything. Drama. Negativity. Critical opinions. Angst. Fill in the blank __________________.

I realized why I keep failing my retest. (shock face) Do tell, I sense someone thinking. (smile)

I keep failing because I have more its than I realized! (shock face) Thank God for His mercy and His grace.

The funny thing about it, is that, it’s usually a past incident that we never fully released or forgiven; and anything or anyone can trigger the memory. Those pesky thoughts.

Let’s stop giving it power. Take a pause to breathe before reacting. Do anything, just don’t give it power.

Growth and maturity is a beautiful thing once we understand that all things and everyone contribute to victory over it. Ain’t life grand. (smile)

We give it too much power to drain our energy.

Entertaining it drains energy.

Retelling it multiple times drains energy.

Forgive it. Forgive ourself and let it go.

Blessings, my friends, by faith, as we stop giving it power. (smile)
