The will of God will never take you, where the grace of God cannot keep you.
~ Unknown Author ~
But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
2 Corinthians 9:6-7 ~
And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
~ 2 Corinthians 12:8-9 ~
Hello friends. (smile) Spiritual growth is a lifelong process. Years ago, I was genuinely shocked when I realized spiritual growth never stops. There is always something to learn.
Spiritual fruit continues to grow and replace anything not of love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance, with the guiding of the Holy Spirit, within us.
Praise The Lord for his grace. Grace is given daily. We have grace even when we stumble. Grace frees us from condemnation or berating ourself for mistakes. Its all part of growing and learning.
Gratitude and giving to others keep us humble and gives glory to God.
Blessings, my friends, as we live today in God’s amazing grace, by faith and enjoy the H to Z challenge! (smile)
Continuing from Love is (Part 1), to truly love others, we must deal with our stuff first. (shock face) To love like Jesus requires being spirit led and spiritual fruit. Without them, love becomes conditional or non existent.
Just as change and growth is an individual thing; love is individual and begins with us. It gets back to life is a process of changes, as long as we crawl, walk or run on this earth. (smile) Love is a choice. Bottom line, God loves us in spite of our stuff. He may not like things we do but at no time does He withhold His love or stop loving us. This is our goal too. To love in spite of what someone does. Can we get a witness? (wink)
As we grow and mature, we deal with our stuff, and we’re able to love ourself, flaws and all. Psst, nobody is perfect except Jesus. So speak to that perfection lie. Loving ourself opens us up to love others. God will put people and things in our life to help us grow. (smile)
God know what it takes to bring us to our knees. (shock face) Dealing with our stuff can be painful. We can thank God for his mercy and his grace. We can thank God for prayer. We can thank God for faith. The more we choose to let the Holy Spirit work in us, love starts to flow. (smile) Praise The Lord!
Spiritual fruit in us–love (giving), joy (gladness), peace (free from worry and fear), long suffering (patience), gentleness (kindness), goodness (generosity), faith (dependability), meekness (gentleness) and temperance (self-control) allows love to flow and draw people to us because light shines from within. (smile) It’s a beautiful thing to love others by showing kindness and compassion. God gets the glory!
Growing in love does not happen overnight. It’s a lifelong process that only God knows when we are ready and complete. He will keep pruning and removing anything keeping our fruit from growing. (nervous smile) Ain’t life grand! (wink)
To love our neighbor as we love ourself requires spiritual fruit and maturity. (shock face) Remember, God is love and there is no darkness in Him. Let’s not forget, God created us different. We may be similar but we are different. How we express or show love maybe different until we learn unconditional love. Sometimes, we harp and complaint because someone does not love us as we think we need to be loved.
Here’s the thing, only God through His Son, Jesus can meet all our needs. No human can give us what we lack within except Jesus. As we grow, whatever is missing within develops. Love is action. Love is giving and forgiving. Love keeps on loving until God changes that someones heart. Love is adapting and adjusting. Love can’t be forced. Love never fails.

As long as we walk this earth, there will be stuff to bring about our growth and maturity. (shock face)
When we are going through stuff, it can be overwhelming to keep hearing, reading and seeing negative stuff. We mentioned that change and growth begins with us because it does. Growth and maturity will also enhance our prayer life.
The various seasons of life can be daunting. There will always be something. Nothing in life is perfect except Jesus. Think about it, how many times do we expect something or someone to give us what we’re lacking within?
What’s that old saying, can’t squeeze blood out of a turnip? (wink) In relationships, we expect or desire something that is not present within to give. Sometimes, we have to love from a distance and bridle our tongues. We have to allow God to work. People can’t hear God if we are harping to them all the time. (shock face)
Sometimes, we or the people in our life need love, encouragement, compassion, and prayers, instead of just biblical theology. Yes, we must know the Word for ourselves and share the Gospel.
Here’s the thing, stuff in life happens to all of us–saved or not. We get so busy pointing out what’s wrong or bad instead of celebrating what’s right and good. (smile)
Instead of talking, let our actions speak louder than words. (wink) Let us pray God’s Word over the thing or someone. Only God can change a heart and/or a thing by our prayers. Here’s a fun fact, we must have faith that our prayers are in line with God’s will. This is the confidence we have in approaching God, that if we ask anything according to His will, he hears us. Sometimes, we have to check our motive. (shock face)
Each of us are on different levels in our growth and maturity. Sometimes, we forget that everyone understands or comprehends information differently. Sometimes we forget everyone communicates differently. Sometimes someone shows us love differently, but it’s the best that they know how. Instead of complaining, adapt and adjust, until they learn differently.
Sometimes we may not know the next step or how to get there. Pray without ceasing.

That grass always looks greener until we get full disclosure and realize we’re grateful for what we have– this is contentment until God changes us. ( smile)
Changes in life will continue daily. As we grow and mature, we learn to handle things different. Spiritual fruit and being led by the Holy Spirit, to include the renewing of our mind is the end result to be effective in showing others Jesus. (smile)
God bless us as we grow, mature, pray and roll with it! (smile)
As always, your thoughts or comments are welcomed. (wink)
Picking up from Growth is A Part of Life (Part 1), they will know us by our fruits. Some love to tell what is wrong and blah, blah, without providing the how. 😰
Let’s face it, until we’re ready to change and take responsibility for our choices, the process of life will keep bringing stuff until we let go and move forward in our growth process. 😁
Distractions and living vicariously through others, will only get us so far. As mentioned before, when we get sick and tired of 🎶🎶going around the mountain, one more time🎶🎶 we’ll do something about it. 😜 At the beginning and the end of the day, we choose our next step. 😨
Some of us are standing on faith for something or someone. Sometimes, we’re the reason for the delay! 😰 Bottom line, God knows, we are not ready! Change and growth comes from within!
That thing or someone won’t give us what’s lacking within! God bless us as we understand our own challenges and recognize change and growth begins within us. 😉
