Archive for Happy Friday
Until God changes our current situation, let’s stand in faith, on Philippians 4:11-12, Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. 12 I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
Contentment opposed to:
Anxiety – Matthew 6:25, 34
Murmuring – 1 Corinthians 10:10
Greed – Hebrews 13:5
Envy – James 3:16
Contentment shown by our recognition of:
Our unworthiness – Genesis 32:10
Our trust – Hebrews 3:17-19
God’s care – Psalms 145:7-21
God’s provisions – 1 Timothy 6:6-8
God’s promises – Hebrews 13:5
God bless you, my friends and keep the faith! 😀
Wahoo! Happy Friday! 😜
We are blessed and highly favored! 😜
Maturity requires fruit. They will know us by our fruit. 😜 The fruit of the spirit within us (love (giving), joy (gladness), peace (free from worry and fear), long suffering (patience), gentleness (kindness), goodness (generosity), faith (dependability), meekness (gentleness) and temperance (self-control)) becomes evident as we grow and mature through each life experience. 😰
Here is the thing, the words we speak, how we conduct ourselves, tells our maturity level and the fruit within us! 😁 We are going to learn today that God loves us–unconditionally. He may not love the stuff we do but He loves us. When we stumble, thank God for his mercy and his grace! 😀
Maturity brings self acceptance to love ourself, flaws and all because Psalm 139:14 tells us I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knows right well. So careless what others think! We know who we are and whose we are, there is nothing to prove to anybody. To just listen or agree to disagree; to bridle the tongue, that’s fruit and maturity! 😜 Ain’t life grand!
Here is another fun fact–ain’t nobody bigger than God. So God loves you, keep growing and moving forward. 😜
Maturity also gives freedom, to walk the narrow path, as illustrated in Matthew 7:13-14, Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Have courage to stay on the narrow path. 😀
God bless us as we continue to be content, produce more fruit and know the love of Christ which passes knowledge until we are filled with all the fullness of you.
Thank God we survived the week! God bless you! 😜
