Resilient In Christ

Philippians 4:13, I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me, are ten powerful words, to be resilient, in Christ.

Resilient in Christ is faith and trust in him. It’s knowing his faithfulness to never leave nor forsake us. It’s knowing his mercy and grace through any situation.

More importantly, it’s knowing he loves us.

Resilient in Christ perseveres.

There is always a choice.

Acrostic line scripture reference:
Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say rejoice.
~ Philippians 4:4 ~

Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my meditation.
~ Psalm 5:1 ~

And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
~ Psalm 1:3 ~

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.  I will say of the LORD, he is my refuge and my fortress:my God; in him will I trust.
~ Psalm 91:1-2 ~

My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
~ James 1:2-4 ~

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
~ Philippians 4:6 ~

No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgement thou shall condemn.  This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.
~ Isaiah 54:17 ~

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
~ Isaiah 40:31 ~

Make it a great day and keep the faith.

Celebrate Moments of Spontaneous Joy

Hello everyone, hope all is well. Welcome Lexa and co-host, L.G. Keltner @Writing Off The Edge, to another week to celebrate the small things.

Today, I celebrate moments of spontaneous joy. Praise The Lord.

I’m off schedule today regarding posting.

A good and unexpected massage after a manicure, dinner and good conversation with a friend, having a jam session in my car listening to my favorite music, were my moments of spontaneous joy. I had the best time. (wink)

Have a great weekend and keep the faith.

Abundant blessings, my friends, because the just shall live by faith. Praise The Lord.

As always, I welcome your thoughts.

IWSG September 7th Question

One thing you can’t recycle is wasted time.
~ Author Unknown ~

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; a time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; a time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; a time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
~ Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 ~

Hello friends. (smile) It’s the first Wednesday of the month. Hope all is well in your world. Welcome Alex C and September IWSG Co-hosts:

September 7th question: How do you find the time to write in your busy day?

Hmmm, it’s a bit challenging when the non-writing job is busy and hectic; nonetheless, it pays the bills and provides for necessities. (wink)

It’s how we define priorities. It’s balancing time.

It comes down to choices, time management, and adapting through the seasons of life.

Someday, I’ll write full-time. Until then, I write when I can. It is, what it is.

Stay encouraged to do the best you can, when you can, while keeping the faith.

Abundant blessings, my friends, and enjoy your day.

Celebrate Smiles

A smile costs nothing but gives much. It enriches those who receive without making poorer those who give. It takes but a moment, but the memory of it sometimes lasts forever.

None is so rich or mighty that he cannot get along without it and none is so poor that he cannot be made rich by it. Yet a smile cannot be bought, begged, borrowed, or stolen, for it is something that is of no value to anyone until it is given away.

Some people are too tired to give you a smile. Give them one of yours, as none needs a smile so much as he who has no more to give.

Hello friends. (smile) Welcome Lexa and co-hosts to another blessed Friday to celebrate the small things.

This week, I celebrate smiles. Both giving and receiving smiles.

Thank you Lord for the beautiful gift and blessing of smiles.

There are times a smile can make us light up like a Christmas tree.

There are times, when pushed and tested, a smile can change our focus.

There are times, a thought brings a smile.

There are times, a smile disarms our enemies. (wink)

Wahoo, here is something to do. (grin)

There are times, ___________________ (fill in the blank) brings a smile.

Aah, made you think. (smile)

Blessings with a smile, my friends, as we keep the faith to enjoy giving and receiving smiles today.

Feel free to share your thoughts.
