#AtoZ Challenge  – Resilient and Repetition

A successful person is one who can lay a firm foundation with the bricks that others throw at him or her.
David Brinkley

Welcome to Day 20 of the A to Z Challenge.

Continuing the blessing of positivity, with encouraging thoughts, to be content, in whatsoever state….

Sometimes, in quiet moments, remembering how far we’ve come is a good thing.

Nineteen days left to work then annual leave starts and forty days until official retirement….

I’m grateful and blessed. Praise The Lord.

Reflection, on the ebbs and flows, shows how faith, patience, resilient and repetition endures.

The ability to be resilient by repetition , in whatsoever state, is another example of the many blessings of positivity.

A to Z Challenge continues Monday. Will not be posting Sunday.

Abundant blessings and have a blessed and marvelous Easter!

The just shall live by faith. Praise The Lord.

As always, I welcome your thoughts.

Psalm 119:129-136 – PE

Patience and endurance is wisdom to everyday adapting and adjusting to those things beyond our control.

PE
129 Thy testimonies are wonderful: therefore doth my soul keep them.
130 The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.
131 I opened my mouth, and panted: for I longed for thy commandments.
132 Look thou upon me, and be merciful unto me, as thou usest to do unto those that love thy name.

133 Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.
134 Deliver me from the oppression of man: so will I keep thy precepts.
135 Make thy face to shine upon thy servant; and teach me thy statutes.
136 Rivers of waters run down mine eyes, because they keep not thy law.
Psalm 119:129-136

Nine scripture references to verses:

For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life:

Psalm 119:49-56 – ZAIN

For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
~ Romans 15:5 ~

Have hope and magnify patience. Never lose hope.

ZAIN
49 Remember the word unto thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to hope.
50 This is my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath quickened me.
51 The proud have had me greatly in derision: yet have I not declined from thy law.
52 I remembered thy judgments of old, O LORD; and have comforted myself.

53 Horror hath taken hold upon me because of the wicked that forsake thy law.
54 Thy statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage.
55 I have remembered thy name, O LORD, in the night, and have kept thy law.
56 This I had, because I kept thy precepts.
~ Psalm 119:49-56 ~

Contentment While Waiting

This post was originally published on 2 January 2015 and updated on 6 December 2018.

Once we discover how to appreciate the timeless values in our daily experiences, we can enjoy the best things in life.
~ Harry Hepner ~

But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye were also careful, but ye lacked opportunity. Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.

I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
~ Philippians 4:10-12 ~

Hello everyone, hope all is well. I apologize, am experiencing WordPress challenges.

Contentment is a good habit to acquire. To be content while waiting is endurance. It’s even more powerful, to do, by faith.

A season, of anything, can be challenging. Waiting can be brutal. Here’s the beautiful thing, seasons are temporary and waiting builds patience.

That thing, that stuff or that Y is temporary. Until it serves its purpose, it will be around. Keep in mind, it will be different for everyone. Similar, yet different.

Have faith. Be content. Have patience. Have self-discipline. Part of the process.

The ability to find contentment comes when the focus is on God and the blessings that He provides.

The ability to find contentment comes when we realize it is, what it is. Adapt and adjust by casting your cares, to the Lord, can work wonders.

It’s liberating to free the mind from angst that amounts to nothing. Put “it” at the foot, of the cross and be content until we can walk through it. Keep the faith.

We may still fail a test moment; praise God for His mercy and His grace because at the end, of the day, we’re still standing!

This WordPress challenge is validation to be content while I figure out the issue. How about that.

Abundant blessings, my friends, as we acquire the habit of contentment, by faith, while waiting for our break through. Praise The Lord!

As always, I welcome your thoughts.

Count It All Joy When…

This post was originally published on 19 October 2014 and updated on 13 November 2018.

Appreciate the Unexpected. ~ Anonymous ~

And we know that all things together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
~ Romans 8:28 ~

My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
~ James 1:2-3 ~

Hello friends. (smile) It’s a beautiful thing when The Lord gives understanding, to us, through His Word. It’s a beautiful thing to understand the power of specific prayers and to count it all joy.

I’ll be the first to admit, once upon a time, I struggled in my Christian walk. I struggled in my faith. I struggled in developing a personal relationship with God, through His son, Jesus.

Let’s just say, I struggled until I got tired of going around the same mountain and surrendered. Praise The Lord, I’ve come a long way.

I’ve learn to appreciate and count it all joy as I keep moving forward, by faith, as God puts more patience in my life.

Count it all joy, when we pray and God answers.

Count it all joy, when we have wisdom to understand life is sowing and reaping. Life is realizing we can’t give what we don’t have. It comes from with. Life is sharing and helping one another.

It’s a beautiful thing to share “once upon a time” testimonies. It’s truly tough when we don’t know what we don’t know.

Count it all joy, when things in life can feel surreal.
IMG_0723.JPG
Count it all joy, when somethings are forgotten and somethings linger, just enough to dwell on day in and day out.

Count it all joy, when trials and tribulations (things and stuff) help us grow and builds patience.

Count it all joy, when X, Y and Z moments challenge us.

Count it all joy, when we take responsibility for wrong choices.

Count it all joy, when God removes anything or anyone keeping us stuck.

Count it all joy, when we realize the past can’t keep us prisoners or stop our future blessings.

Count it all joy, when we understand nothing nor anyone is perfect, except Jesus.

Count it all joy, when it is, what it is. Let it go.

Count it all joy, when we know who we are and what we bring to the table.

Count it all joy, when the joy of the Lord is our strength.

Count it all joy, when we know, if God is for us, who can be against us.

Count it all joy that God loves us even when we stumble.

Count it all joy, that there will always be naysayers.

Once upon a time, we were naysayers. Let’s bless them and live our life thanking God that we’re not where we use to be.

Enjoy your day, my friends, as we count it all joy!

Abundant blessings, my friends, because the just shall live by faith. Praise The Lord.

As always, I welcome your thoughts. (smile)

Patience

But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
~ James 1:4 ~

Hello friends. (smile) I believe next to long-suffering, patience is the fruit tested the most. (shock face)

Long lines. Traffic. Fill in the blank ____________. Waiting. They all test our patience.

IMG_0733.JPG
I believe there will always be retesting of our patience.

This week has been a little brutal on my patience. My energy level has been drained too!

I thanked God and left things at the foot of the cross. Patience. Got to love spiritual fruit. (wink)

How’s your patience level? (smile)

Ever feel like there is something in the air and things and stuff just keeps on coming? Patience.

Well friends, I need to reset, for a couple of days, and recharge my energy level. Too many withdrawals from my fun meter. (shock face)

Be blessed, have patience and keep the faith! Feel free to browse the website for earlier posts. (smile)

Me Too!

Thank you friends for your prayers. (smile) I find it amazing that when we are walking through a storm or challenge, it can seem like we are the only one going through until we share something and someone replies me too!

“Me too” can be two of the most beautiful words we can hear when someone can relate to what we are going through. “Me too” can bring sanity to us when our silly thoughts take us down a road we don’t need to go. “Me too” can bring comfort knowing this too shall pass!

20140122-025142.jpg
It’s easy to get overwhelmed by things and stuff on a good day; especially when we’re still trying to balance everything and everyone in our life. Before I got overwhelmed from all my dental stuff, other distractions were happening simultaneously that I couldn’t connect the dots until recently.

Words can’t flow when I’m distracted. Does that ever happen to you?

Sometimes, we should share the things and stuff rattling around inside of us. It can drive us nuts when we don’t! (shock face)

Sometimes, we have to step back and adjust our approach to our hopes and dreams. Sometimes, God delays (fill in the blank) __________ or someone because one or both are not ready! (shock face)

Oh, (fill in the blank) __________ or someone will come in God’s perfect timing. In the meantime, God will continue to perfect fruit within us. Patience and long-suffering, got fruit?

Be blessed today and don’t be afraid to share with someone, they just might reply “me too!” (smile)

Hang In There

Hang in there! We are all dealing with something or somebody. Sometimes, we just have to dig real deep in our faith and say many prayers to see that thing or that someone differently. It’s during these times that the fruits of the Spirit–patience and long suffering are tested the most.

Sometimes we just have to walk through the thing or pass the someone knowing that all things work together for good to them that love God, and to them who are the called according to his purpose.

20130411-033854.jpg

Usually in time, that thing or someone does not bother us any more 🙂 Sometimes, we just have to stand and allow God’s will to be done by that thing or someone.

Sometimes we just have to praise God when we don’t understand why.

Sometimes we have to remember that this too shall pass and to count it all joy that God can use anything or anybody, in our growth process, as we keep moving forward.

Your thoughts?
