Practice the pause. When in doubt, pause.
When tired, pause. When angry, pause.
When stressed, pause. And whenever
You pause, pray.

There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
~ 1 Corinthians 10:13 ~
Hello friends. (smile) Praise The Lord for a new day of grace. By faith and encouragement, let’s practice the pause and pray moment by moment during challenges.
No need to stress about 2:00 pm when it’s only 6:00 am. Buttons getting pushed. Fill in the blank_______________.
Breathe and practice the pause. God is faithful to help us through.
It’s a choice. It’s spiritual. It’s a blessing to let it go.
No one nor anything is worth unnecessary angst. Breathe deeply and practice the pause, pray and keep the faith. (wink)
Abundant blessings as we enjoy this day and practice the pause.
Your comments or thoughts are welcome. (smile)

Hello friends. It’s with a sad heart that I’ll be away from the blog a few days.
My dear and wonderful friend Tomas DeLeon passed away today.
Please join me in prayers for his family, friends, colleagues.
God bless you!
Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me? ~ Jeremiah 32:27 ~
Hello friends. (smile) Posting late. I was off schedule all day. A beautiful Susie Larson blessing to end the day. Regardless, of where we are at this moment, be grateful of the many blessings in our life.
Realize how much God loves us. Remember, by faith, to carry our imaginary slingshot and put on the full armour of God to defeat Goliath.
Pray because there is power in prayer.
Blessings as we keep the faith and sleep well tonight. (smile)
I am still walking through some things and stuff. I am thankful for your prayers and pep talk BC! (smile) I have been trusting and leaning on God and putting stuff at the foot of the cross. It’s a combination of stuff (not all of it is mine). I am distracted and not focused these days. I know this too shall pass. Only God knows when.
When you are walking through things and stuff, people mean well when they offer advice. Sometimes, it helps and sometimes it causes other things to resurface in the mind. Here is where you have to dig deep and speak to the lies–that want to whisper about the past and remember the last time…
We can speak the word, pray, cry, force ourself to laugh and still have to walk through the thing. (shock face) No one else can do it for us! (gritted teeth)
God uses all things to bring about His purpose for us. I asked Him, what are you trying to teach me Lord? I am still waiting on an answer and a breakthrough for my walk through! (smile)
If anyone else out there is walking through things and stuff, it is my prayer, by faith, that our breakthrough is coming. We have to keep the faith and trust God to manifest it in His time.
Please pray for us walking through things and stuff. Thanks and God bless you!

Another Psalm that brings comfort when we are going through things and stuff. Pray and put it at the foot of the cross. Praise The Lord!
God bless us, by faith, as we focus and talk about our blessings. Let us pray and put things and stuff at the foot of the cross. Let thy will be done.
Please join us, in faith, by praying, for our love ones and friends who are struggling.
God bless us, by faith, as you answer our prayers. May your will be done.
Practice the pause, next time we encounter stuff! Then pray! 😜
God bless us as we crawl, walk or run through this day! We thank Lord for your mercy and your grace! 😀
No matter what, smile, God loves you and can make a way out of no way! 😉
There is a awesome prayer for those of us waiting…
God bless us as we have faith in you and your timing!
Another prayer to use as we grow to love like Jesus does. Let us remember growth is a life long process. Sometimes we stumble and are not loving, yet God continues to love us anyway. Maybe, when we can all love as Jesus loves….oh, the possibilities!
1 Corinthians 13:4-8 (NKJV) – Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 8 Love never fails.
God bless you!
Let us choose any or all of the possibilities to walk through this day by faith 😜
Oh, the possibilities of choosing 😜
Overwhelming thoughts are different for each of us.
Heavenly Father, we come before you grateful and thankful for all that you do. Heavenly Father, we thank you by faith for helping us to renew our minds.
Heavenly Father, I thank you for your continued blessings to the men and women you led to follow us on your afriendofjesus2013 blog.
Heaven Father, we thank you for speaking through us to provide words that comfort, words that bring a smile, words that touch others. In Jesus name, we pray. Amen
Have faith to let go, and let God keep us moving forward.
2 Corinthians 10:5 – Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
Philippians 4:8 – Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me.
Romans 8:28. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
