Appreciate

In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
~1 Thessalonians 5:18 ~

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
~ Romans 8:28 ~

Hello friends. (smile) Praise The Lord, my smile and sense of humor is back. (wink) My faith and trust in God gives me strength and courage each day to share what He pours into my heart.

I give a heartfelt thank you and abundant blessings to online and offline friends, for your prayers and encouragement during my challenges last week. {{hugs}}

I appreciate your thoughtfulness more than you could possibly know. By faith, I know God will bless each of you, in a mighty way, for your part in praying and encouraging the encourager. (smile)

Sometimes, we forget to appreciate the little things.
Sometimes, we forget to appreciate the blessings that challenges bring.
Sometimes, we forget to appreciate that tears can be a blessing.

It’s a beautiful thing to bless others when we are hurting. I’ve been emotionally drained for a few weeks. By faith and God’s grace, I kept moving forward.

My emotions has been like a roller coaster ride since I got that ticket a few weeks back and realized the ticket was the blessings. (shock face)

The weight of God’s protection while I was unaware that I was driving on dry rotted tires, the sickness and pain that friends are going through; the death of friend; the challenges in my work environment, Friday night, I cried and prayed. I gave all that was hurting within my heart to God.

Praise God! He ministered and watered all the love and encouragement sown from you to me that I have a new appreciation of sharing my faith walk with others and ask for help when needed. To God be the glory!

Appreciate being different.
Appreciate those unexpected kind words.
Appreciate prayers.
Appreciate people’s time.
Appreciate smiling for no apparent reason.
Appreciate what we have.
Appreciate those who care.
Appreciate the ebbs and flows moments.
Appreciate (fill in the blank)______________.
Appreciate that God is still in charge and can work all things out.

So today, my friends, blessings as we appreciate each other and the things we share with one another. (smile)

Comfort

Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; 4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
~ 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 ~

Hello friends (smile) It’s a beautiful thing to know someone cares. That’s what comfort does. Sometimes, comfort comes from unexpected opportunities that form new bonds and connections. (smile)

Sometimes, comfort is simply listening. Sometimes, comfort is knowing we’re not the only one going through _________________(fill in the blank).

Regardless of our spiritual maturity, life brings things and stuff. It’s a beautiful thing to give and receive comfort when needed, especially through our prayers. (smile)

Personally, I find comfort in prayer. Praying is giving it all to God, even tears.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m always grateful when God sends someone my way, when I am truly struggling. Thank you Lord.

Bottom line, prayers activate our trust and faith in God to move in mighty ways. (smile) Praise The Lord.

Comfort is a blessing that pay dividends and glorifies God.

Comfort is a little thing that means so much when it comes unexpectedly.

I also like to send a shout out to my friend CW, you and your family are in my prayers. (smile)

Blessings, my friends, as we comfort one another. (smile)

Have a safe and enjoyable weekend! (smile)

Growth is A Part of Life (Part 3)

As long as we walk this earth, there will be stuff to bring about our growth and maturity. (shock face)

When we are going through stuff, it can be overwhelming to keep hearing, reading and seeing negative stuff. We mentioned that change and growth begins with us because it does. Growth and maturity will also enhance our prayer life.

20130904-005932.jpg

The various seasons of life can be daunting. There will always be something. Nothing in life is perfect except Jesus. Think about it, how many times do we expect something or someone to give us what we’re lacking within?

What’s that old saying, can’t squeeze blood out of a turnip? (wink) In relationships, we expect or desire something that is not present within to give. Sometimes, we have to love from a distance and bridle our tongues. We have to allow God to work. People can’t hear God if we are harping to them all the time. (shock face)

Sometimes, we or the people in our life need love, encouragement, compassion, and prayers, instead of just biblical theology. Yes, we must know the Word for ourselves and share the Gospel.

Here’s the thing, stuff in life happens to all of us–saved or not. We get so busy pointing out what’s wrong or bad instead of celebrating what’s right and good. (smile)

Instead of talking, let our actions speak louder than words. (wink) Let us pray God’s Word over the thing or someone. Only God can change a heart and/or a thing by our prayers. Here’s a fun fact, we must have faith that our prayers are in line with God’s will. This is the confidence we have in approaching God, that if we ask anything according to His will, he hears us. Sometimes, we have to check our motive. (shock face)

Each of us are on different levels in our growth and maturity. Sometimes, we forget that everyone understands or comprehends information differently. Sometimes we forget everyone communicates differently. Sometimes someone shows us love differently, but it’s the best that they know how. Instead of complaining, adapt and adjust, until they learn differently.

Sometimes we may not know the next step or how to get there. Pray without ceasing.

God bless us as we grow, mature, pray and roll with it! (smile)

As always, your thoughts or comments are welcomed. (wink)

Anxiety and Fear Prayer

Please join us, in faith, by praying, for our love ones and friends who are struggling.

20130813-203252.jpg

God bless us, by faith, as you answer our prayers. May your will be done.

Living With No Regrets

Let us live life with no regrets! Each day that God wakes us up is a blessing! Each day that we focus on what is wrong in the world, and in each other, negates the blessing. Let us adapt and love one another by the grace of God since none of us know what the next second, minute or hour brings.

20130601-061128.jpg

Yes, there are challenges everywhere. Let us be specific in our prayers to God and have faith that He will move in mighty ways and show just how powerful He is! After all, Revelation 1:8 says “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith The Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty”.

Praise The Lord and God bless us as we keep moving forward! 😜

Love From A Distance

God always knows what is best for us. God never gives us more than we can bear. God gives us courage to love from a distance. Sometimes we must stand in faith, trusting God, by taking our hands off of situations that He knows we can’t handle. We are not God. God is the only one who know the reasons behind a why.

20130427-060040.jpg

Hurting people hurt people. Remember “power of words” and “free will to choose”–trying to interfere when God is working–gets our feelings hurt.

Once upon a time, someone loved us from a distance. The best thing we can do is have patience and keep them lifted up in prayer. Trust God to walk them through. Drop a {{smile}} or {{hug}} in a text or email to let them know someone is thinking of them. Keep moving forward, even if there is no reply back. Remember God is in charge of the situation.

Meditate on Romans 8:28–And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

We thank God, for his continued protection, even when we don’t know or understand why. There is power in prayer!

Love is

Love is a commandment. Mark 12:30-31 says “And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. 31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these”.

We love God . We love thy neighbor as thy self . Whoops a 🚩 on the play–some of us don’t like ourselves 😰 which hinders love. We have listened and told ourselves, so many things, that we want this or need that to ______________. Some of us are looking for love in all the wrong places (another song to add to our repertoire) 😜 when all we need is Jesus. This is where the rubber meets the road for us and our choices. We sometimes forget, once upon a time, we didn’t know love. Sow love and God will water.

20130425-093221.jpg

God loves us! Until we love ourselves, it can be quite difficult for those who love us. Thank God for the power of prayer🙏 and the leading of the Holy Spirit–for those of us in relationships where one expresses love so different that we feel compelled to pray more, hang in there, God is in charge and will give us grace to love as he loves and keep moving forward.

To be continued….

Ezekiel 36:26 – A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

Mark 12:30-31 – And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. 31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

Romans 5:1-5 – Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: 2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; 4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope: 5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

1 Corinthians 13:3-13 (NKJV) – 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing. 4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 8 Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away. 11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 12 For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known. 13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

Let Go

Have faith to let go, and let God keep us moving forward.

2 Corinthians 10:5 – Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

Philippians 4:8 – Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me.

Romans 8:28. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
