It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.
~ Psalms 118:8 ~
And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.
~ Luke 18:27 ~
Hello friends. (smile) To have faith and trust in The Lord is a beautiful thing. Trust.
Once upon a time, I had trust issues with everything and everyone, until I learned to put my trust in God, through His Son, Jesus. Trust.
Broken trust can devastate anyone. Having faith to trustGod because there is nothing nor anyone bigger than Him brings comfort. Trust.
Trust that He always provides and protects.
Trust His love.
Trust that we are fearfully and wonderfully made in His image.
Trust that we can do all things in Christ that strengthens us.
Trust in His mercy and His grace.
Trust that He will never leave us or forsake us.
Trust in His plan for our lives.
Trust that He works out all things.

Blessings, my friends, by faith, as we trust God and thankful in all that He does for us! (smile)
Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
~ Jeremiah 17:7-8 ~
Hello friends (smile) I am starting to love these Two Cents Tuesday Challenges. (cheesy smile) It’s fun to be creative and show our vision. Whether positive or negative, heat can affect everything; depending on your perspective. (smile)
Having faith, to trust God, in all things, will produce more spiritual fruit and growth–either positively or negatively. Depending on that mountain, remember, the one, I like to go around. (gritted teeth smile)
Thank God for His mercy and His grace. I am looking forward to that day when heat temperatures won’t bother me. Wahoo, faith!
My pros and cons of heat:
Pros of heat:
Great in the winter.
Great for cooking or warming food (not that I know anything about cooking; but I can warm in the microwave) (shock face)
Great for hot water showers.
Cons of heat:
Humidity can mess up the hair. Ugh
Tempers can get short in extreme heat.
Some fabrics don’t breathe well in the heat.
Can’t leave windows in car open, critters can get in the car.
For you reading pleasure, some scriptures on heat:
God’s wrath – Deuteronomy 9:19
Man’s anger – Deuteronomy 19:6
Determination – Genesis 31:36
Zeal – Psalm 39:3
Persecution – Matthew 13:6, 21
Heavy toll – Matthew 20:12
Real Faith – Revelation 3:15
Have a blessed day and stay cool! (smile) Feel free to add your pros and cons of heat. (smile)
Faith and trust, in God, will build every single time. (smile) There is nothing to hard for God!
God bless us, by faith, as we trust you every single time. Let thy will be done.
God bless us, by faith, as you strengthen our faith and trust in you. Let thy will be done.
We love The Lord!! It’s a beautiful thing when we are rooted and grounded in the Word of God and know God through his Son Jesus. (smile) Trust us, when we say, there is freedom, when you know who you are in Christ. (smile)
It shows in the way we carry ourselves, the things we speak about–when we trust in God, we know – Romans 8:28-39 –
28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. 29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. 31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? 33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth. 34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
God is in the people business. It’s about showing love and kindness to those in need. It’s about reaching those who don’t know Him or that He loves them. It’s about loving one another in spite of our free will to choose differently.
It’s about showing Jesus to a lost world. It’s about saving souls.
Christians are in this world but not of this world. We are the salt and the light—giving all the glory to God–They will know us by our actions and speech. When we know God deeply, there are things, we just don’t do because our actions speak for us. (smile)
Can we get an Amen and keep moving forward (smile) God bless us all (smile)
Matthew 10:32-33 – Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. 33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
Matthew 25:1-46 – Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. 2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. 3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: 4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. 5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. 7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. 8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. 9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. 11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. 12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. 13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh. 14 For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods.
15 And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey. 16 Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents. 17 And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two. 18 But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord’s money. 19 After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them. 20 And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more. 21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
22 He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them. 23 His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. 24 Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed: 25 And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine.
26 His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed: 27 Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury. 28 Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents. 29 For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath. 30 And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory. 32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: 33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. 37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? 38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? 39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? 40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: 42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: 43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. 44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? 45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. 46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
Mark 8:38 – Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.”
1 John 5:1-8 – Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him. 2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. 3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. 4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? 6 This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth. 7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. 8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.
Starting today, let us choose to Praise God, Trust God, and Thank God, as we crawl, walk or run, through the thing, that we are going through–remembering–Romans 8:28 says “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose”.
Sometimes, God just wants us to walk through the thing by faith—trusting Him–because it is already done–We just have to wait on the manifestation of the thing. Let us also remember God will never leave us or forsake us; God is present everywhere; and God is in charge. This is more than enough to keep us moving forward.
Please feel free to add your thoughts 🙂
7 Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? 8 If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. 9 If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; 10 Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me. 11 If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me. 12 Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee.
